Great hotel with a good balance between feeling boutique and still family friendly.

Activities included are well run and staff are helpful and attentive. Thank you to Bao and Yoyo who did the thai boxing/aqua aerobics and dealing with the paddle boards.

Buffet breakfast reasonably extensive and the quality excellent. Rooms spacious, clean and modern.

We hope to return.

Simply amazing place to spend a holiday or honeymoon in.. calm and quiet place if you are looking for escaping the loudness of the city! Expect to find some insect since it's like a forest inside, but nothing in the rooms, rooms are very neat and clean! Lovely place!

Love this place! Staff are super polite and friendly. The rooms and facilities are fantastic and have been maintained well, which is a real compliment as things usually get dated/worn very quickly in the tropics. Really family friendly with a kids club and kids pool.

Service here is awesome from everyone and we've been back several times because of this.

A little bit far from the action of Patong, but I would consider this a good thing for a romantic weekend away.

Nice 'chain' hotel. To far from everything in Phuket.

From the moment we arrived, we were not well received by the staff! The valet did not deign to take our car to park it and fills the bad reception, security even wanted me to park outside the hotel, incredible! What a lack of class! The staff is mediocre and does not apply to the service. In the restaurant, were served as in the street the first have finished their plate while the last receive their dish ... Bof, there are more class hotels next door, make the right choice ..

A nice quite resort in the north west Phuket. It is close to the Phuket airport. The beach is clean and nice for a swim. You can see the planes landing from the beach. Evening time is great for sunset photos during clear skies. The resort facilities are good. Great food. If you are looking to have a peaceful time in Phuket and enjoy the Andaman sea, this is the ideal resort. If you are exploring Phuket town then this place is far away from most of the places.

Did not stay at the Renaissance but had lunch and dinner at Takieng on 30/5. Food & service was good. You cannot go wrong with food at Takieng. Simply delicious & divine.

Great and very quiet place.
Far away from civilization so hard to transfer to visit other places on Phuket.

The hotel is so far pretty nice but far out. The prices for shuttle and transport too expensive.
The prices in the restaurant extremely expensive for Thailand. (Beer 6 eur, dinner buffet 65eur, ...) rooms are modern, the beach clean but little shade. Especially Russian casteWe would not come here again.

Stayed here and it s a beautiful magical place in a quiet area of Phuket. If you want a relaxing, enjoyable, beautiful retreat this is it.

Marriott membership recognised and they ve made our honeymoon memorable. The pool villa is private and within meters of the beach.

The breakfast is amazing and set in a tranquil location, Taeking restaurant was tasteful and traditional Thai.

The gym is so clever with High Intensity classes some mornings, bike riding, yoga, Pilates. The Life Fitness equipment is brand new and state of the art which is always good to see a resort that has an eye for fitness.

Haven t even tried sand box and other places but I will and know it ll be amazing. Shuttle service takes you to local shops and plenty of taxis if you desire to goto the main drag.

This is a must for accomodation if you want to relax unwind and enjoy Thai hospitality at its best.

I m also a huge fan of the water in reusable glass bottles and soaps and shampoos not in single use plastic bottles. This is so clever and more hotels should follow..... We need to look after our planet.

This is a lovely resort with a great spa. We didn t really find a need to leave the resort for our 4 days here - you ve got everything you need. They ve got a helpful shuttle bus to bring you to a sister resort and a mall area (nothing much to be honest). It looks close to the airport, but we had to make a big loop and took us I d say 30 mins from airport to resort and vice versa.

Nice ambience. Many choices for breakfast. Location is too far from the city centre but good for relaxing.

You can't miss Sala breakfast. They serve you varity of food like Thai and international food.
Sala pool villa don't like any resort pool villa, its pool is so long and deep. If you have children with you, be careful them.
This resort is very private that is so far from Phuket city.

I went to stay for 1 night with my friend. Finally, I stay here. I have read and seen many reviews including photo by bloggers were very beautiful hotel where many spot for taking photo. That s why I choose this hotel to stay.
The hotel is quite near the airport. Approximately 15 mins to the hotel. In Maikao area there are many hotels closed to the beach and competitive price. At that time this hotel is quite cheap and also used the Travel Together program and also my friend staff rate to discount in hotel program. Therefore, I could say WOW! with this hotel.
We got a superior room (1st category room) to stay. The room, balcony and bathroom quite large. The bed so comfortable. But I was wondering that why the hotel doesn t have bidet? I have also comment and staff have explained me that they will be having soon. Next time I think they already have it! In the evening, you may have to beware of there s insects flying into the room.
Staff were very very very nice and friendly with us so much. As I comment about the bidet to staff, suddenly I think Front office manager explained to me why they still haven t have it. Not only staff at the front but also staff at bar was very friendly and informative with us.
Spa is ok but not too good. This place is one of many bloggers took photo.
Breakfast also was nice and variety kind of food.
Unfortunately, I stayed here only 1 night. I think next time if I have a plan to Phuket again. I definitely consider this hotel to stay.

Room: Clean and fairly spacious.
Breakfast: There is nothing wrong with the atmosphere of the breakfast room and the taste of Gajitsu.
Swimming pool: Kids pool water quality is good, adult pools have taste
Staff: very friendly

Overall highly recommended

Absolutely beautiful scenes from certain rooms.
Staff members were outstanding in the 5 star service hence why this is a 5 star review.
Whatever was needed was provided with one push of the room service button.
Two staff who were exceptional to me was Johnny so lookout for him and the other was Sam.
I had a damaged hand and they both provided me healing equipment for free even without me asking for anything.

I ve posted some of Deluxe room and ocenn view pool villa. All facilities including pools, rooms and restaurant was very nicer. And The restaurant in the basement is excellent than others in other hotels in Phucket.
But, I had a bad experience through this visits. I got a lot of rash on my full body. After enjoying in the sea, I felt like something was biting me. Dr said that there could be water fleas due to hot water temperature.
If you have a plan to visit here, please utilize the sea only morning.

Super good resort! Enjoyed our 3days 2nights stay with them! Great service, very friendly and warm. Makes you feel like a family and heart-warming ;) The hotel breakfast was really good, lots of choices and the spa was awesome! Tried the oriental massage, one of the best massage i've ever had in Thailand. The room was awesome too. The staffs were sweet to always come by to ask us if things were alright and if we needed anything extra. 15mins drive away from the airport. Very relaxing place to be at especially with access to the private beach :) Highly recommend this place if you want some exclusive relaxing time!

Although the hotel is very nice and the food very good everything is outrageously expensive. The prices are expensive for europe what cost in Bangkok was 90bath here it costs 500. The restaurant buffet 1450. When at the hotel Le Meridient 5 stars it cost 900 and it was already expensive. They abuse because they are isolated. If you want to stay at the hotel without going to the beach and you do not mind paying more than triple for everything it is a good hotel. It is 1 hour and a half by car from Patong and by the hotel you get for 700 bath per person, subject to a schedule. I would not repeat. For me the worst was Hanna who looks like the boss at the reception, you tell her you do not speak English but she still lets you have a talk and you look for life. Disappointing.

We had a really good time at the hotel. It is a great place to just relax, be at the hotel, not going out. Breakfast is one of the best. Thanks to all the staff.

Wonderful. They have thought of everything and we had a really comfortable and delightful stay. I came with a friend and we both loved have a king bed to ourself in the room. The grounds are gorgeous and it is so peaceful.

The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, between lakes, waterfall and beach. The pool is spectacular, the breakfast excellent. The staff were attentive and helpful. Note 10.

Very beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, but the beach is not as beautiful as in other places in pukhet.

100/10 not deducted a point Lantern restaurant is delicious, everything is okay. Employees are the best Joy is very cute, very cute, very good advice, everyone, breakfast lean, dinner is Mong Mong Mong, the view is very nature. But regret it during the strong waves Can't play at all, I'm afraid of the strong waves.

The best place on the island if you want to get away from crowds

Highly recommend The Renaissance, we got married here in 2014 and paid them a visit this year for our 5th wedding anniversary. The resort is truly a 5 star resort. The grounds are amazing and well kept. Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and energetic. And everyone (including us) still raves that we have never found a more amazing breakfast buffet than at the Renaissance. They have recently updated the kids pool and our 1 year old absolutely loved it. We will certainly come back!
