My friends and I spent three nights for our first time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I arrived one day later than my friends, but lucky enough to be upgraded to Junior Suit Room then. The check-in was easy and fast and then I was escorted to the room. I was oriented to the room and facilities. The was very big and clean. Everything was new and functional. The room had everything you need in five star facilities. The breakfast was excellent with lots of varieties for different nations.

The location of Renaissance Kuala Lumpur is conveniently close to Twin Towers taking you about 10 minute walk. If you are from Indochine counties and want to try something with oil, I would recommend food and drink at China Town. They have great food and cheap over there. Try seafood Tong Yam, it's the best. It was so sad that the programs of mine were all day scheduled that I couldn't spend minute in the beautiful swimming pool. The hotel also has a tour arrangement for you to explore Kuala Lumpur.

I would be back To Renaissance if I return to Kuala Lumpur.

I've stayed several times in this hotel and its my preferred go-to hotel in the Ampang / KLCC area of KL. The service is nearly always immaculate and the rooms are a decent size with good facilities and amenities. Unfortunately most hotels at this price range offer an equal bang for your buck and the hotel really needs to ensure that they continue to maintain the high standards and services to keep the loyal guests returning.

A special mention should go to the great breakfast restaurants - the range and selection is excellent as are the staff who never fail to smile and be perky.

Can't recommend. Everywhere in the room was mould. Changed the room, but I wasn't even better.

The floor and everything was dirty. After 2 nights I was sick because of the mould.

The staff was really pissed when I asked for another room.

Very disappointed.

Very disappointed.
They are 5-star hotel but u never feel like u r in 5-star hotel, u get treatment like 2-star hotel.
Housekeeping is pathetic. Even though you request for certain cleanliness, they never keep up the promise.
I stayed for 2 weeks and landline phone didn't work at all and tired of complaining multiple times.

Breakfast options are good.prime area. Walkable distance to twin towers.
They have very big swimming pool.

I gave my feedback Even though they didn't ask but looks like they are not interested to take any feedback :)

This is an old but charming hotel located at the intersection of Jalan Ampang and Jalan Sultan Ismail. It's not exactly close to the Golden Triangle but close enough to the Bukit Nanas monorail and Dang Wangi LRT stations to access these areas. KLCC is within walking distance but the sidewalk outside the hotel is currently undergoing upgrading works, making it difficult to walk. One needs to cross to the other side of the road to walk or cycle to KLCC. Public buses stop here, too.

Hello.

Hello.
It is worth seeing and comparing the growth of this newly independent country with Iran, especially in the tourist sector.

We booked the Renaissance for two nights because we like the standards in Marriott Hotel Group Hotels.
After our Arrival in the evening we saw, that the main part of the hotel was under renovation. We booked the Hotel half a year ago and there was no information that a renovation is planned. Because some parts of the hotel was already renovated we thought that it was finished.

After my complaint at the reception nobody saw himself responsible and there was only one "oh I am so sorry to hear that". No suggestion for a solution or the like.
We stayed for one night and checked out after breakfast to move to another hotel.

Walkable distance to twin towers, this is a good property to stay.

Food is too good and so is the staff. You get good Indian feel of food and staff at the hotel.

Did not use the swimming pool, but could see lot of foreigners using the same.

Good view of twin towers from the room, if you are Lucky to get a room which faces twin towes.

Second stay here in 12 months

Second stay here in 12 months

Opted for west wing again and was allocated a great room, friendly staff and well located to transport facilities. Room spacious and clean however coffee capsules not replaced even though I requested on two occasions. Club room very good with nice food and drinks on offer and most staff very friendly.

Were given a generous late check out which was very much appreciated

Would stay here again

The Renaissance Club Suite was excellent.

The Renaissance Club Suite was excellent.

There were a few niggling problems (room 2619). The plug in the bath did not seal properly and drained constantly. One of the day beds was damaged and "sunken" in. The other day bed was OK. The TV went offline for an entire day (16/7/19). The shower took about 5 minutes before the hot water came through which is pretty bad. The club lounge was a nice-to-have and it was OK for breakfast but it was just a subset of what Temptations buffet offers, there isn't really anything unique that club lounge offers for breakfast that Temptations does not. So it doesn't feel like it offers something "exclusive". We never got to try the cocktail hours because we didn't want to leave our son behind. I think kids should be allowed in and it didn't seem any different to the atmosphere of a pub where kids are allowed. The kids bed setup on the day lounge wasn't a great idea, a dedicated rollaway bed would have been better. The room service food was totally disgusting, we got char kway teow which had literally no meat despite saying it did and by the time it reached us it was a congealed glump of solid noodles. My wife's chicken rice looked bad, the roast chicken wasn't properly roasted. The rice and soy was nice but the remainder was not good - poor effort for something labelled a Signature dish. My son's satay was very heavy on the lemongrass but it was best of the dishes. The location is good but I'd probably somewhere closer to Suria KLCC hotel.

On the positive side, the pool was magical. Plenty of day beds and towels, good drinks at reasonable prices. Opening hours of the pool allowed for wonderful night swims. The two guys at the club level desk were really great in settling our bill and organising a limo van home for us - really great service (sorry we weren't given their names).

The facility is satisfied with the expected renaissance, but it is also embarrassing that the inexperienced work of the check-in staff is a serious problem and there is no slippers in the room. It is the most disappointing of the renaissance of each country that I visited.
