# 5 STARS. My experience with Dr Haque and the Spine Center was amazing. I was treated with respect and was pleased with my care and surgery.
I was in the hospital four days and the nursing staff was caring and present. I had an emergency and return to surgery were the staff and my doctor proved Regional West can and will deal with an emergency situation.
I have absolutely no complaints about my care and treatment at Regional West. # 5 Stars.

They've become a very good place to receive many different services!

Waiting an hour is understandable but waiting 3 hours with your 80 year old grandmother who has diabetes is not ok. Make it 4 hours now!!! Still waiting while next door i hear new patients in and out.

Need to correct your job posting in the Radiology Today Magazine for a Radiology Technician. It is an insult and it is pretty embarrassing to have a magazine designed for Radiology to have this posted. It should say Technologist!!!!

Worst billing department. I was getting close to having it paid off then they had a charge that sat in review just short of a year. Competition needed badly!

I think some here are racist-- put me in isolation/quarantine for stomach pains; asked if I hade some contagious disease, they said no; asked why in quarantine and they said "no reason." Worst place I was ever in-- unfortunately if you live in the area you have no choice- only hospital/ER in town. Isolation quarantine room was very small, at the far end of a long hall away from the other rooms and the nurses'' station. Trying to hide me?

I have had terrible experience with their billing department. They billed under the wrong insurance when they had access to the correct insurance provided every time. Now because it s been past 6 months they can no longer bill insurance to fix their mistake and are coming after me for the amount. These were well baby checks that are covered 100% on our insurance. I called the billing department for assistance on cleaning this up 6 months ago and they were rude and kept asking for how I plan on paying this amount. I was told they don t have a process to dispute charges either. I m being sent to collections now and imagine they will be more pleasant to work with then the billing department.

Update: Scott Alwin in their Patient Experience department reached out to me and worked with the billing department. They were able to resolved all of my issues! Thank you so much!

Worst hospital in the area, if you can make it to Cheyenne, or Colorado, get there, do not trust this hospital.

Excellent, attentive ER personnel and general nursing staff. They see us at our worst and do their best. Billing process is a little crazy, but will probably get better over time.

Had Victoria Kogan. Was a nightmare doctor. She called my PCP in Gering and my specialist in CO. My specialist in CO called me as soon as she was done talking to Kogan and told me to refuse the change in medicine. Obviously Kogan thought she knew more than a awrd winning specialist. She then wanted to transfer me out of state to a different specialist. I left AMA. I did some research and saw the her Nebraska license was expiring that day. What a nightmare for a doctor.

They provide excellent care toward their patients and have nurses and doctors that want to help you feel better. I would highly recommend this place to everyone around me.

Waiting while people who sign in after receive attention first....56 minutes and counting. 12 people have been helped before us and 9 of them came after my appointment. Maybe my last name is not so important perhaps??? Oh the speculations!!!

This place was very caring, professional and the services received at the ER were quick and thorough. The facility is clean and modern. Absolutely top notch.

Visited ER twice . 1st was not the best . 2nd time received great care and excellent service. Have been there several times Always been well taken care of . As for the other neg. posts . Ppl are only human. Accidents happen My 1st visit to the ER it was very busy and Er stands for emergency room.

I was in treatment for 13 days in 2013.

Terrible service and they are always unhelpful and talk to you like your stupid. The staff are more concerned about each other then your illness or injury this goes for every time my daughter and I have been here.

Severe lack of qualified providers, and ethics are not great.

You get here and even if you have troubles that prevent you from wearing a mask they refuse help if you do you don't yet on the way in we see two nurses not wearing masks and one security guard and nothing is done about it

All very nice and love the new renovations plus the staff was very friendly.

I gave two stars because the specialty docs we have seen are great. So far between my husband and I, we have seen GI, Orthopedic, and Pulmonary. The hospital and it's billing practices, well, I'm shocked the hospital is still in business. I'm orginally from Alaska where our healthcare is sort of a joke anywhere outside of Anchorage, and this place makes me incredibly homesick. We have one of the best insurance policies in the nation. Even with that said they charge so much for services! Therefore, whatever they "guesstimate" your insurance won't cover, they charge you upfront BEFORE you even receive the services. They tried to make my husband pay almost $600 upfront just to get his MRI, before he could even walk in to get it done. He canceled on them, and they lost a patient. They sent me a bill, saying I owed additional money for my pulmonary testing, after I paid $240 upfront to have the test done (the gentleman who did the test was great). I called and argued it, and low and behold, they actually owed me money back! They also seem to charge a hell of a lot more than anyone would charge you in Colorado as well. If you need a specialty clinic, imaging, etc, save yourself the time and money and just drive over to Denver. We have personally moved all of our care over to there.

Would give negative stars if that was an option. So so many reasons.

Every single time I come here I am treated like a queen. Every doctor or nurse I have seen is beyond amazing. This hospital and the work they put into their patients is phenomenal. I would give his hospital 10 stars if I could. Definitely recommend it to ANYBODY for ANYTHING. I'm always amazed at how great they are.

OB floor/Staff + a certain ER doc = Awesome!

Billing Dept + Accelerated Receivables Solutions + Pirate tactics = the loudest, most disturbing and confusing fart noise ever. Ick. (Seriously though, they suck.)

I had to took my husband to the ER to for vomiting blood and intense abdominal pain. Yeah the ER nurses were very nice, and fast, but after doing CAT scans and multiple bouts of bloodwork they sent him home on some nausea pills. No diagnosis. He had to go back the next morning because the pain was awful. They admitted him for two days, didn't do any more testing, there was a whole day when he didn't even see a doctor, and the specialist never even showed up. The upstairs nurses took hours to give him any medication after it was requested since apparently they can't be trusted to do a dosing schedule. We overheard the nurses in the hallway get mad at a new nurse for not prioritizing insured patients, she literally said 'we treat people who pay for insurance first everyone else is secondary'. There was another patient in the room who had been there for five days and had only seen a doctor twice, his nurse cut his therapy short because she 'had more important patients to get to'. They're not even ashamed of their unethical practices. When a doctor came to discharge he basically tried to call my husband an addict and shove him out the door with a pain script. Never did get a diagnosis, not even differentials. If you're on Medicare or uninsured don't bother with this hospital, because they can't be bothered with you.

Was there for a visit, this time. But, I do have respect for this facility. I visit more for myself now, I love this facility. Dr. Cheloha, Dr. Haque, Dr. Jimenez, and Mary Schweitzer APRNC, FNP-BC are the absolute best.

Unprofessional. Worse customer service ever. I constantly wait 5 or more days for my perscription to be filled and it takes at least one phone call to the office to get them to send it through. I was told today I was gossiped about by staff as someone unpleasent to speak with on the phone. How confidential and professional is that? And now because I was rude to a staff memeber that was being rude to me the doctor is refusing to see me. How childish is that? If you want a highschool drama gossipy experience please by all means go to regional west fo all your medical needs.

Wish to give a negative star rating unfortunately that's not a option. Terrible service offered at this place. They will send the bills without appropriate explanation of charges. Billing customer service is a joke. Many times it's so tough to reach them. If you are fortunate to reach them, they may hang the calls halfway through the dialogue. Do you know, they even send the bills to collection agency without notifying the customer. Only the ill-fated and unfortunate people will land on their services to screw-up their credit history and peace of mind. I strongly suggest all those who received bills from them, please check your credit history, as they may send your bills to collection without your consent or notice.

This hospital is amazing, from small out patient surgeries, to the women's center and maternity to the ER, we've always had exceptional care, communication and service. Love this hospital and its staff!

The hospital is not very clean. The birth center waiting room was dirty and needed to be vacuumed. The bathroom was not tended to the entire time we were there and there was no toilet paper and the toilet and sink had not been cleaned. . The hallways leading to the cafeteria had not been swept or mopped. The trash cans in the birth center and through out other areas in the hospital were over flowing. The bathrooms at the main entrance were also dirty. The toilets had not been cleaned and the trash was also full. I have never seen the hospital look like this before. We are here every month due to my grandmothers appointments.

Been sitting here for over an hour, along with others next to me, takes forever, very unprofessional. They let in WALK INS before they let in people who made appointments!!

This hospital is FULL of nothing but doctors and nurses looking to make money! They care nothing about their patients and the hypocatic oath!

Terrible service and my bill was almost $700 dollars just for them to say there is nothing they could do and only gave me Ibuprofen and Benadryl for my skin that was burning and itching never going back

I feel that,RWMC is a good local hospital. In such a rural area I believe people don t realize how fortunate we are to have a hospital at all.

Feel that they wanted my dad to die, transferred him out of this place and he is doing much better

I was never sent copies of my bills. Instead they sent them to collections. Who in turn sat on them for 3 yrs. Now they are going after me like a rabid pitbull. Thank you billing dept for screwing up my credit. I appreciate it SO much.

The Medical Billing of this place is horrendous. On the news ads and radio ads they state all these awards for healthcare and customer service. First off who are you competing with? You are the only game in town, and second I am starting to believe these awards are given to them by them. I strongly suggest to all the town members to file a class action lawsuit against this place it its shady billing practices.

Dr. Was very rude. Sat here for three and a half hours. Had surgery in Colorado because Nebraska orthopedic team were not able to operate on my hand. ER dr. RudelySaid sorry can't help and left the room. They sure help the tweakers but can't help with five pins in her hand.

The worst service you can get they would let you die from pain as to do there jobs I have waited for 9 hours before being seen and I was in clear pain and they will trash talk you knowing you can hear them most unprofessional hospital in history

Very clean facility. The staff was very helpful. Only suggestion I have to anyone is to ABSOLUTELY AVOID DR. CAESAR AT ALL COSTS. The guy is undoubtedly incompetent and comes no where close to earning the title of "doctor."

Came in because my son was bleeding from the mouth after having tonciles taken out a few days before. Called Dr they advised bring him to ER to get looked at. Come in son bleeding from mouth they advise us it going to be awhile tell he could be seen. No lets see what we can do or lets take a quick look to see if its serious just wait tell a dr can see you. This hospital is horrible avoid it like the plague.

A very modern facility in such a small town - I went for minor, emergency attention and had no wait, dealt with very courteous staff and physicians.

Paying a bill at this place is damn near impossible! I talked to 3 different people in the billing department and all 3 tell me that my account says something different. They're very rude and condescending when they talk to you and always quick to threaten to turn your bill to collections. Even though we were paying over the suggested amount on time every month! I'm sick of forking out money that they can't keep track of. Definitely keep a close eye on your personal records at home! The hospital ended up having to write me a check for $200!

They learn you have a mental disability, then tell you everything is in your head. I have had to go to Colorado to get help, finding it is the exact opposite of what they told me. I now need to go to Colorado to get medical care. Because these yahoos do not care if you are ill or not, you are just a paycheck to them.

Recently I was sent here by the VA to Regional West for several sets of intensive scans. These took all day (expected) and throughout the day the level of care I received here was quite good. The results were sent to my Dr. at Box Butte General Hospital without any delay, most appreciated.

Some reviewers have problems with the billing department. Their reviews tend to receive back a parroted copy/paste from the public relations department, a rote reaction more than any compassionate response. Thankfully, all my billing as a veteran is out of my hands, being sent to these hospitals because I couldn't wait 4 MONTHS to have an appointment with a certified medical doctor at my VA Medical Center.

Am happy with all I received from many good people at Regional West Hospital, thank you all.

People who have never left Scottbluff, NE will think this hospital is good. It's not. There are so many reasons. Just run, far away.

Useless institution. Most incompetent lab (and staff) I've ever seen. Couldn't get results right if they tried. Lawsuit pending.

Just had surgery and all the people were very pleasant Rachel in surgery was amazing! And Viqi in lab was great too thank you all for the amazing service you provided!

First off I went to the hospital for a broken arm and was told if I went that morning I could get the operation that afternoon. After I checked in and was prepped the schedule changed to the next morning, then the next morning the operation was changed to that night at 8pm. Then I was held another day before I was allowed to leave making it a 3 day stay instead of a day and a half.
The staff was great but now my problem. PAYING THE BILL. I have been sending $ 50 per month for 5 months because I have had a total of 9 medical services I need to pay off. I was harassed by the billing department from Regional West medical Center to pay at least $ 158 or my bill would be turned over to a collection agency, they didn't care that I was making payment to other services they just wanted their total billing amount. I am now marked as uncooperative. I was told by the last person I talked to on the phone that her supervisor would call me back in 24 hours or less. Its been a week and still no call.
I have been working with all of the other Dr's and the other 2 hospitals to get the bills payed and this is the only hospital that will not work with me and accept $ 50 per month. I am paying $250 a month in bills and this hospital is saying I am UNCOOPERATIVE. They want my private income and bills information so they can tell me how to spend the money I earn and what bills they feel are non-essential (wording from one of their collecting department employees). I have not asked for a discount I just want to pay it off at what I can afford and not they are going to turn me over to collections and get 1/2 of what is collected from the collections agency??? in stead of letting me pay $50 per month until I have it paid off.
What kind of hospital is it that keeps patients longer, doesn't work with them to get paid and threatens them over the phone????? and then calls the patient uncooperative????

I am from out of town and they are so nice they help me with my pain got me in aout in about 3 hours the dr was so nice and the nus did a good job helping me thanks for macking me fell better

Pathetic place of Service, you won t get the proper care you need, You ll suffer from depression,anxiety, & high blood pressure wondering & waiting for a call back to see how you re health is I had to call them back to get results & answers weeks after the fact & Don t expect to hear from you re actual DR nor get to talk to him. Can you give a place 0 stars? This was a terrible experience for my boyfriend and I. My boyfriend broke his hand, yet waited a WEEK to go to the ER because we don't have insurance and he wanted to be sure there was an injury. Once the swelling didn't go down, we had to go in. We were there for SIX hours. Once we got back the actual room, the nurse put his hand in a splint, she did not explain why she was doing this or anything, she just did. The dr. then came in and took his hand out of the splint. Then, he rebroke his hand back into place, and put the splint back on. As my boyfriend was in Xray, the doc came back into our room to inform us that they had placed the bone wrong while splinting it and had to break it...yet again. This time he did it with no block or numbing. He was an animal. He proceeded to tell me and my boyfriend that is was our fault we were in the positon we were in, and that he will "learn his lesson." I was furious. 1st, this is very unprofessional. 2nd, he has no idea that our intentions were financial, and we would have been there right away had we had insurance. 3rd, the second breaking was not "our fault," it was his. After all this was said and done, the nurse comes in and was also very rude. She fought with my mother and I the entire time and we had to get a different nurse.

Here is the best part. The orthopedics call the next day, and his hand is now is such a bad position from being broken all those times.. he has to have surgery. The doctors tell us to schedule the surgery for tomorrow. So we call to do so. They tell us they will call back. They call back, and tell us they will call back AGAIN. The second call they tell us they cannot schedule anything without financial aide. I think they should have known this from the beginning, and told us this when we were sitting face to face with them instead of waiting until less than a day before he is supposed to have surgery. This whole experience has me so shaken up. We will go elsewhere next time- which I feel is something I should not have to say about my HOMETOWN hospital.

So my mom thought she could come from Torrington and get the most help here well so far nothing good has happened. She s been having stomach pains for awhile now we ll the doctors did all these test and they came to conclusions that she needed her gallbladder remove well at first the doctors that make thousands or millions of dollars couldn t attend to her much because it wasn t serious enough oh and it was during s holiday week so no one was on call. So they were able to do the surgery on Friday and she came out of it ok but the pain is still there two days later and they have her on all these strong narcotics medicine that s not making her eat or be herself atleast she s like a walking zombie. So the doctor said that next thing they would have to do is stick a scope and see what s in her stomach that still hurting her so really maybe this whole time she didn t even need that gallbladder remove.. So sick of this place and just so they don t have to do there job and wait till Monday they keep putting these strong medicine to cure the pain! I don t recommend this place at all!

If I could give zero stars, I would. It took almost three hours to have me seen in the ER when I was the only patient in the waiting room AND no patients were in any rooms when I was finally brought back. I had severe abdominal pain, the doctor REFUSED to give me any liquids or pain medication even though I was keeled over and writhing in pain. He literally sat back in his chair while I pleaded for him to help me, and laughed in my face. His words were HA. Maybe you re just PMS-ing and being slightly dramatic. You girls tend to do that. He then refused to do anything so we attempted to leave, he then tried to throw a fit and wouldn t allow me to and tried to charge me for it, my family had to step in and make him back off. A few more doctor visits later, with someone much more qualified than him, we have found out that I have an extremely dangerous disease in my bowels and my organ walls were so broken down that microscopic tears began to form, allowing bacteria to leak into my abdomen, nearly causing sepsis. I am on antibiotics now and doing well, no thanks to this terrible hospital.

Neurosurgery is a joke. NP Hopkins did mri said nothing was wrong. Went to another Dr. that ordered mri with contrast because I ve had back surgery before and found 2 herniations, stenosis , and arthritis. The hospitals medical records dept. has been down for months and can t get records to give my new back dr so I can have surgery.

I am very grateful to have such an efficient, caring surgery. With my family and I, over the years, you have been fantastic. Thank you

This place has too many bells and whistles. Nobody that works here knows what they are doing unless a computer tells them what to do or say. I would rather bleed to death driving to b.b.g.h. than to ever come back to r.w.m.c.

My husband was sent there on an emergency removal of a brain tumor. I used the emergency entrance in and out the first day he was there. Unfortunately this was during covid era. The next day was his surgery. I went through the emergency room door and asked to see my husband, the receptionist, Elisa, who is not very friendly said visiting hours was at 10 am. This was at 8am. I left with no argument. When i returned i was getting calls from his nurse that they were on their way to get him for his surgery. At the main entrance they heard my conversion and pushed me through as fast as they could. After i visited briefly with my husband i went back downstairs into the parking lot to tell his brother. I then needed to use the restroom so i went back through the emergency room door because i knew where that bathroom was. This Elisa was at the window and said ma'am you can't keep coming through this door i explained i was just using the restroom. She insisted that i go back out to the main entrance. I told her i was already through and i would use the other door in the future. She threatened to call security on me and did!!! I came out of the restroom and there stood security. I explained the situation to them through all my tears. They asked if i had a wrist bnd and i showed them that i did. I then asked him where the compassion is for the families and the patients during times like this. This is the reaction from using the wrong door to use the restroom!!! This is the second time we have been to this hospital for surgery for my husband and this is the first time i have had a negative experience from a control freak!! The nurses, other staff, and doctors are amazing at this hospital!!!! I would recommend them for care of your loved ones. Just don't try to use the restroom through the wrong door...because it wasn't already a hard enough day for me. Big thank you to Elisa for making my day easier!!!

It's hard to find the words to describe how awful this medical center truly is. Not only is the level of care pathetic, but their billing department is utter chaos. I will never go here again unless it's a true emergency, and I'm unable to travel outside of the panhandle.

Excellent staff, kind, thorough and very caring. Anticipated what I needed before I requested it. We are very fortunate to have access to this level of care in a rural community. RWHS is a blessing to our area.

Horrible facility, small town clicks and worst CEO of all time. It's not what you know it's who you know. Dirty gross hospital that is financially unstable.

This hospital has literally ruined the last 9 years of my life. All they could do was throw pain killers at me without regard to other treatments. They have ruined m me physically, mentally and financially. All because RWMC choose not to get me help, not me.
