Atmosphere was awesome. Food was fabulous, excellent, great. Service was great. Beautiful inside, very comfortable with plenty of room. Outdoors was so refreshing. Definitely will return.

Pricey for what you get but we liked the outdoor seating.

Very neat restaurant. Pricey but good food. Both the Duck and crab cakes were wonderful, the fried alligator was okay. A good place to go back to for a special occasion.

We ate outside, it was such a beautiful place. Our kids loved the view and how close we were to the water. The staff was so sweet and the food is absolutely amazing! Will DEFINITELY be going back!!

Food was great at a great price. Plus sitting at the window overlooking the lake was great. Look forward to our next visit. Stuffed crabs were delicious.

Get away from the interstate and Lake Charles! It was worth the trip. Food was wonderful and service was quick and friendly. Our waitress helped a lot with suggestions, she was very knowledgable about the food and the menu. Weather was bad but looks like it would be a beautiful place with great views otherwise.

I had the Crawfish Cornbread (an appetizer that is large enough for an entree) & Waffle Fries with cheese, bacon bits, chives, & jalapenos. YUM, YUM, YUM!!! Absolutely PERFECT!

Always get the boulettes as an appetizer and seafood salad. Portions are small on other entrees. Price is a tad high for the flavor and amount of food on the plate but the atmosphere is phenomenal. Might try garnishment to make plate more appealing!

The food is ok at most the frys are chewie and not crispy

This is one of our favorites. It is very nice when you are out boating on the lake to come tie up to the dock and get something cold to drink. It is also a nice place to go especially in the spring and fall and sit out on the deck and feel the breeze come off the lake and enjoy the scenery. We have tried many different appetizers and entrees and have yet to find one we dont like. Our problem is trying to pick one to eat because they are all good. I've come here on an anniversary date as well as with a large party including children and the ambiance is suitable for both. The staff has always done and excellent job. Great place to go relax and eat.

The atmosphere is the King of places! Duck, crab cakes, and many other dishes are always amazing! free bread too!

They were busy and service was slow, but our meal and drinks were correct and delicious. I ordered the crispy duck as it's something you don't often find. I don't know how they make their grits but it's amazing that a grit taste so good.

Very disappointed! Shrimp was tasteless and ketchup was watery.

Normally steak nite is the best but my last visit was not. My steak was ordered med well and it was pink all the way thru. My friend ordered med rare and it was pink and cold all the way thru! Another had well done but it was burnt to a crisp

Great, scenic location. Fresh seafood done well. I personally love the cane syrup glazed roast duck. Sit on the deck overlooking the lake if weather permits.

Such a beautiful restaurant! We typically enjoy to sit outside and enjoy the view on the water. Especially in the evening, it is gorgeous to sit there and enjoy the sunset over the lake and eat the delicious food! Their food is more upper class than most cajun places but it has the same comforting flavor. The staff is super friendly and it's a great place to go!

So excited to be invited inside to dine and the wait was very short for a table of 7. The food was delicious and the service was the best! Thank you Edna for making our evening so special. The Duck, BBQ Qual and corn grits were 5 stars. We were lucky enough to get the last two Creme brulee with ice cream which we all shared and it was just dreamy as was the coffee! Thank you for always making our dining experience the best. We will see you soon!!

Fried oysters & fried catfish are excellent. Service is very good . Seating is limited on weekend.

Have all you can eat catfish on Fridays for lunch. Thursday night Ribeye Steak Special with salad, side and beverage included for $14.95 is very, very tasty as well.

Great place to eat. If you're visiting the south, this would be the place to go. It's right on the water and the views are amazing. The food...is out of this world. A little pricey, but absolutely worth it. When I want to treat myself, i go there and order a piece of blueberry cheese cake...my mouth is watering just thinking about it ( which I can never finish because it's soooo big) and a cup of coffee and ask to be seated outside over the water. So relaxing.... so satisfying.

This review is for the 5 star customer service we received tonight. I live out of state but my daughter Rose lives near this restaurant and loves it. Tonight the manager went the extra mile over the phone to ensure our gift card purchase went well for Rose's birthday. Thank you to the awesome staff at your establishment! We will be dining with you the next time we fly out.

Since the establishment replied with their canned platitude, I'll expand my critique:

Roughly half of the menu items were unavailable.
12-15 minute intervals between seeing our server.
We had to ask for silverware.
We had to ask for refills
The staff made it a point to complain to US about a large group that we were not a part of.

We were in town for the basketball playoff game (Go Lakeside)!! We Loved the food, the environment, and the staff. Food was amazing and the staff was warm and friendly. Will most definitely be back!!

Crawfish Cornbread, Quail, Hamburger Steak all delicious. Outdoor seating on the lake watching sailboats, boats docking at restaurant to come up and eat. Great experience
