Aaaah, so great, we stayed an extra night. Luxury accommodation like this can become quite passe', but everything about this Lodge is fresh, exiting, and just damn invigorating. We loved it, the locality sets the tone, and our stay simply became better and better. A huge thankyou to our hosts, Tom and Pauline, and their exceptional staff. Naomi and I will definitely return.
Blanket Bay is exceptional in every way. We stayed one night in a lodge room with spectacular lake and mountain views. The lodge is beautifully designed, has stunning decor and the very best facilities. Every room takes in the incredible views. The restaurant is fine dining at its best with an impressive wine list. The staff were very attentive and every little detail was taken care of from the moment we arrived. We would recommend staying here over hotels in Queenstown if you are looking for that once in a life time memorable experience.
Well appointed lodge, part Aspen, part hunting, style with all the accoutrements of the finest luxury boutique hotel's in the world. Can't be better located for Dart river expeditions and Heli flights to Milford Sound and the high Alpine glaciers.

One of the best luxury lodges in the world (that's a big call I know). Worth every cent. The views of the mountains and the lake are to die for. Excellent food. Intuitive staff. No other place in the world quite like Blanket Bay lodge.
From the moment we arrived every minute was awesome. All the staff are wonderful, and they knew when we needed them and when we didn't. The location, scenery, food and activities on offer are all amazing. All in all a great experience that we will never forget.
Tom the owner and his wife did an excellent job designing and building this place. I want my own luxury hunting, fishing and skiing lodge. What an amazing place!

Blanket bay is outstanding! The location is out of this world, service is impeccable, food and drinks excellent and plentiful. The breakfast pastries were a particular highlight and are so good I d go back for one more alone!

The most amazing place. Beautiful setting, awesome lodge & the most wonderful staff. We were rained in for an extra 2 days and it was the greatest time. We were sad to leave when the road finally opened & we could drive to Queenstown. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blanket Bay. There was absolutely nothing we could fault. The friendly accommodating staff, the stunningly designed picturesque lodge and its surrounding vista, the amazing food that was available both in the dining room and the special requests that were prepared and delivered to our room.
