Regal Fish, Ltd Review

We have used Regal Fish for more than 2 years and we have been very happy with their service and professionalism. Very happy indeed.

So far, so good. Great quality. Not too sure about the customer services phone number as seemed very disinterested. I'm really happy with my order, however, and will definitely order again.

Update - second order received. Much better customer service so maybe I just caught someone on a bad day that time. Fish absolutely wonderful.

Had our first order last month every thing was nicely wrapped separately ,we had cod ,smoked haddock, and fish cakes.all very good.We are now ready for reordering would definately reccomend.

after first order i was harassed every day. calling and not saying anything, then leaving rude messages, shouting down answer phone. when i answered the northern guy was threateningly rude and quite intimidating. only bought once, worse the any double glazing company . called me at least 4 times a day, every day, even when i told them to stop calling. next month it was the same again, and the month after that. please avoid unless you want to be called during the day, evening and uptown 9 30 at at night every night

Excellent service, they ring you to take your order and tell you of any special orders, the following week they deliver your order to your door. Never had any problems and the fish is always of a high standard. Would highly recommend

your door to door guy is great had a great first delivery, then came the phone calls every day for over 2 months. i was happy with the service then your sales guys ring and ring and ring. I will order when I'm ready not when you tell me to.

Struggled to find anywhere that sells fresh fish during these difficult times and found Regal fish online.
I was anxious as never bought fish online before living on the coast but needs must.
Everything I ordered arrived on time and very well packaged all fresh and sealed.
Burgers were hit and miss but sausage rings were a big hit with husband.
I ordered haddock chunks which my fussy daughter decided were the best fish she has ever tasted and finished the box off and the shell on prawns were gorgeous and retained all the taste

A door-to-door salesman drew me in with his 'fresh fish straight from the boat' patter. I ordered fresh cod fillets. They arrived a week later. I immediately opened the pack and was met with a fishy aroma - not the fresh smell of the sea that I had been eagerly anticipating. It was perfectly edible, and in fact very enjoyable, but no better that I can get from the fish counter at my local supermarket. I will therefore not be purchasing from here again.

We have been customers for many years and cannot praise the staff highly enough. We look forward to the cheerful and helpful call staff who take time to explain the best offers. The delivery staff are wonderful and the products have never failed to be other than excellent.
During lockdown Regal Fish have been our saviours.

Very good firm doorstep delivery excellent produce.

I am very conscious when ordering on line, but with the help of the people from Regal, i cannot recommend this service enough. Me and my wife are a huge Haddock fans and the fillets we bought where delicious, in fact the best fish we've ever had, we ordered enough to last us 6 weeks and ive recommended this service to all my friends. Oh by the way the delivery driver was professional, courteous and the driver could not help us enough.

Just recieved my first order which I can say was the best fish I have eaten beats any local fish and chip. So fingers crossed this is not just a one off as this will be my regular supplier of fish.

Fish is great. Delivery is great. But customer service is utter rude. I have had a few phone calls from a guy called John and he was just consistently rude, disinterested and hangs up the phone before you could even finish your sentence. At one point, he quoted me a more expensive price than what they have in the website. Thank goodness, I managed to check before I paid over the phone to double check. I sensed that with that kind of behaviour, I couldn't trust him.

I would love to order from them regularly but I won't bother if you get this slam in the face behaviour.

Delivery man is always so nice and polite.

Place an order for a multipack salmon cod and haddock. Have ordered before and it was lovely. This Order arrived promptly this afternoon. Very disappointed to find my order made up of majority fish tails. When i rang to say I wasn't happy I was told they take the loins off as it was more expensive. Really offhand and wasn't I terested in my concern. Will not buy from them again.

Just cooked some hake its got a nicer taste than cod or haddock well done to all at regal fish hake will be on top of my nest shopping list

Company makes the Drivers work over hours which works out less than minimal wage too.

Haven't use this company but if their door to door sales staff are anything to go by then I'll pass. Pestered numerous times throughout the day for a decision and was rude enough to wall away whilst I was still talking.

Started using Regal during lockdown as we were running short of fish. Have been delighted with the choice, quality and level of customer service received so far. The prices are similar to or slightly less than our usual supermarket and the range of fish available is better. Also beats the hassle of getting the car out for a short journey and queuing at the fish counter for our monthly supply. My sister I law is also now using Regal on and is equally satisfied. A good discovery!

Rarely dissatisfied with any of their products. Call staff are polite and courteous explaining offers. Delivery drivers always prompt and polite.

I have been using Regal Fish for over 15 years and receive an order regularly every 3 months. The call staff have always been courteous, friendly and helpful. Special offers are explained, but at no time have
I felt pushed in to buying something I don't want. I have never been
disappointed with the quality of the fish, and delivery has always
been at the allotted time. I would certainly recommend them, and
have done so to friends and colleagues. Keep up the good work.

Lovely & they deliver right to your door & you can pay the driver when he delivers I think they should start selling more like meats cheese would be nice more batterd cod & I also think they need to put brochures through letterbox maybe get more customers as when they called to me I had never heard of them before but not everyone at home maybe missed some sales So I think good idea to put brochures through letterboxes ?

Always excellent service and really fresh fish. The fish is always delivered on time and ever person I have had dealings with, from telephone staff to delivery men, is friendly, polite and very professional.

Just had some haddock delivered today !Absolutely excellent, very fresh ,will be ordering again ,very good service and real quality product!

My daughter had a cod fish box delivered and it stunk of fish.

Fresh fish dose not smell of anything.

Used them for years and always had excellent service and supplies

Regular calls when delivering in area, friendly, helpful staff. May not be as cheap as the local supermarket but the prices reflect the very high quality and service all delivered to your door. Recommend.

Good fish and seafood, reasonably priced, and delivered on time.

Great home delivery service and the fish is s fresh. Yummy
