Tried this place for the first time. 3 of us each got very different dishes, they were all extremely bland. I don't think there was any tamarind in their "pad thai", easily the worst attempt at it I've experienced.
Really good, very amazing food, I especially love the double pan fried noodles, they taste so great, And I really like the smoothies, because they are awesome. They are one of the sweetest smoothies.
Im seriously not picky at all about my asian food but did not like anything i ordered! The seseme chicken must have been pretty old! It was SO HARD TO CHEW like stiff rubber on the outsides! The dumplings had no salt in the filling. And chicken wings tasted like the inside of a hallmark store smells. Like a candy cinnamon potpourri or something, idk but this place is not for me. Delivery was fine on time and the one thing i appreciated is that i could fully understand the people answering the phones!
Exceptional spot to eat some food when in a rush. Their service is efficient, pricing is reasonable, great mood. I highly recommend this spot.
disappointing!!. General Tso Chicken was very dry as if it was precooked a couple days ago and they just put "new" sauce over it. VERY disgusting. AND they didn't want to customize my order for FRIED rice so I got white rice instead for the combo. WHICH their white rice was so hard. Then on top of that I didn't even get "extra" onions like I requested and no sweet and sour sauce for my wontons. NEVER coming again

Service and food was super fast! Went in for a Friday night dinner and got a table right away. We ordered our meals "medium" spicy and they were not spicy at all. They bring a plate of oranges after the meal - that was a great, sweet treat!! Worth the drive from Minneapolis to eat here!
Best egg rolls I've ever had!!!! We did a take out delivery and all the food was great, but the egg rolls are something special.
Very bland food and this was the first time I had to add spices to my Chinese food. I had the curry and the sauce tasted mostly like cornstarch and salt. Someone noted they had a new cook so maybe that's why the more recent reviews are more negative??? I gave them 2 stars because at least the veggies were fresh.

This place is one of my absolute favorites. Quality food in an economically priced buffet. What more could a big eater ask for? I've gone dozens of times and it never gets old. Lunch buffet is my favorite, but the menu is good too. One of the only restaurants I frequent regularly.

I've been going out to eat here for several years and I have liked everything I have had.
What I like the most about this place is that they have a very authentic Chinese menu. The Red Ginger has things that I have never seen anywhere else in the Twin Cities. If they are in season they even have things like frogs legs and jellyfish. It costs a bit extra to get something out of the live out tanks - but it is worth it. I have had salt-and-pepper shrimp there that gave me a new appreciation for shrimp.
There staff is always very nice and attentive and the food comes out very quick.
Recently I was very busy and ordered delivery. I don't know how they do it - but the egg-rolls and cream cheese wontons were still warm and crispy when I got them. I love this place.
My sesame chicken & rice were luke warm at best & the temperature in the restaurant was too cold.
I used to really dig this place and thought the food was great and liked the fried rice after 10 or whatever... The fried rice has been giving me Sig. Bowel discomfort 3 times running now spread out across a couple years when this isn't a typical issue... @ginger... what happened?
HORRIBLE customer service. We used to order from here frequently (despite the fact that they are pretty overpriced) but our last experience made us never want to visit this establishment again.
We placed a to go order on New Year s eve; it was late and we just wanted to feed the family and get to bed. ALL of our chicken was so hard it was inedible; we called the restaurant to report it and we were told to bring the food back so they could see it? We argued that we weren t making another trip to bring in bad food and we were hung up on.
Red Ginger is always our favorite place for getting together with family and friends. The tasty food reminds us of genuine Hong Kongese and Cantonese delicacy meals that we have had in Hong Kong. The service at Red Ginger is always fabulous too!
Amazing food and great lunch specials! Had the king pao shrimp. A lot of food for under $10 and came with an egg roll. Service was quick and food tasted great!!

I'm Chinese, And I would like to say that this is the least authentic place I have ever been to. They know absolutely nothing about Chinese food, And the atmosphere is horrible and does not represent true Chinese culture. Chinese food does not involve with Broccoli at all. This was not what I expected from a 4 star average Chinese food spot. Chicken is soggy, fried rice is soaked in soy sauce, which is all you can taste. The only edible food they have, in my opinion, was the cream cheese wonton. If you are going to spend $60 on food, you're better off spending it elsewhere.
Love Red Ginger, food is consistently great and the speed it comes out is a nice touch.
Order takeout a lot from there, food is always hot and nicely prepared. You do have to ask for utensils though if you don't have any with you. I've never had the buffet, but I hear it's quite good.
Personally, I recommend their Pad Thais.

Food is mediocre at best use to deliver but don't anymore only reason i ever ate there. Pick up at Pink Flower you will be much happier with the food, sauces are not water there.
I have called over the last 2-3 months since they got their new delivery option for this restaurant. Its TERRIBLE!!! 1st: Just not delivering at this time try again next week, 2nd: Delivery driver is out of town and cannot do deliveries, 3rd!!!!!: and last time: Cannot deliver at this time we can only deliver Tuesdays, Thursday and sometimes Fridays.
If I were this restaurant I would cancel delivery all together, or find another system.
Food is quick and portion sizes are big. Everything I've ordered is plenty for 2 people. And I love there egg rolls.
Food fast, friendly service. Seating 6ft apart and masks encouraged but not required. Staff wearing masks. Tables and menus very clean. Only dislike was chicken was a little dry in sesame chicken and sauce a little too thick for me. My son had orange chicken and loved it :) Portion size very big. Decorated nicely inside.

The lady at the register gave me that no black people allowed treatment... all I asked was that no white rice was included with my order... she got upset over nothing. Glad it was a carry out order... sheesh

Got a lunch order to go and this is how it looked.. leaked everywhere and the food burnt the styrofoam so much it bent it. For how expensive this place is they should package it a lot better. I assumed it'd come in plastic to go containers or those square ones. Guess not.
I walked over to the buffet and the food looked like it hadn't been stirred in a while. Maybe I came at the wrong time because there were actually quite a few groups of people in there.

Food was good, but the waitstaff were short with us. If this is a language barrier take no offence. Also the food came out one plate at a time which seemed odd, but maybe they were just being extra fast and getting each dish out the moment it was done. Again good food.
I love this place! The customer service is amazing everythime i go. I door dash and the orders are always ready and they guys( especially the guy at the front brandon) they are amazing and provide excellent customer service.
I would leave 0 star if I could. Super bad service! Even can say no service! This was the second time I called for takeout order. They picked up the phone and said please hold! and then let you keep waiting on the phone over 15 minute and didn t see them come back, just as the first time I called them. I just hang up and don t want to order anymore.

Went here in a suggestion by a coworker, because I was tired of Hope's over on Central. I needed some new flavor.
Totally tasty and not drowning in soy or salt. Every dish I had tried for the very reasonably priced lunch buffet (around $11 with soda and tax) was light, brimming with flavor of the added spices (lemon grass and ginger beef.... Could taste everything... Fantastic).
Spring rolls were large and fried. Wontons were pure cream cheese (not crab cheese) and the hot and sour soup (although not as "hot" as I would like to be) was light and full of ingredients.
My only complaint is I wish the fried rice had veg in it. That's it.
Other wise service was on point, and everything outstanding. Highly recommend.
Good spot for Chinese in this area. The buffet is what you expect, not as good as the served meals but it's still good. I like their Sesame Chicken for takeout and an easy dinner.
We order from this restaurant using door dash like 3 times a month. Omg, food is amazing always, I'm impressed at the fast service always even with a middle man..food is Hot, and delicious. I will say, this the best service and food..and the cream cheese wontons melt in your mouth. My go to! The quality of food here is consistent, everything is seasoned well and fresh as can be. They also have live seafood as well! Will be returning on a weekly basis, location is right off highway 35W making it very convenient to pick up dinner.
