Used to be a good company, worked here on and off 9 years. Definitely not what it used to be. Keep your options open if you re considering LHT, bottom of the scale pay compared to Other OTR companies. Management is one sidedly against drivers. Their shop is a joke. Nothing good to say about today s LHT. Me? I m doing much better nowadays.

I worked here for a very short time and basically fired myself. It doesn t take to figure their system out and once you do you will understand why it takes several months to see a descent check. Some really great people that work there that should be running the company aren t. And never have I seen a place micro manage owner operators the way they do. It takes a special type of person to work and thrive at this place.

Tammy Robeck , broker has promised to work on detention for driver that stayed 6 hours at the pickup, after the load was delivered she simply washed her hands by saying that paperwork wasn't properly signed, FULL OF BS

I absolutely love my 5 year old truck.
During the Bat Flu shutdowns they've kept me moving no problemo.
Also, when this thing started & nobody knew what would happen, management decided to guarantee that no driver would make less than their average weekly from the previous quarter. I've been beating that amount except for 1 week when a Friday delivery turned into a Tuesday delivery because the consignee cut receiving down to 3 days/week. The minimum guarantee saved my bacon that week.

There are NO driver managers. I talk directly to the planners.
If i want to have something done mechanically, i go wherever i want & they pay. Never once had a problem with that.

They pay for my hotel room up to once per week- with a limit: if you stay at the Crowne Plaza, most of it is in you but they'll reimburse up to certain amount.

I take home time in 5 different states & never once have i had a problem being on time for that even on short notice.

Another driver told me that he had an emergency and Long Haul put him on a plane home from where he was and paid it 100%

We work on percentage so you get out whatever you put in. If you're waiting around for a load opportunity, you probably didn't call the planner in advance to request one. I'd say 90% of the time, the moment I'm empty, i have at least 1 load option waiting for me. Often several to pick from.

Everyone at HQ knows me on sight and by name. That was true after my 1st week here.

And LHT drivers are the best. Without being asked, they show up to assist each other all the time and frequently help out drivers from other companies.

All Peterbilt/conestoga fleet.

This Viral Spring isn't the best time for flatbeders but I'm not going anywhere. I'm in it for the Long Haul.

Was in three trucks in three months and in the shop it seemed like every week. You will get called every week or two asked how you like the company if everything is ok xcetera the one thing I mentioned every time was the continues break downs . Was fired today due to performance no one spoke to me or anything was simply called in told I was terminated . When I mentioned the continues break downs they brought up my trip to CA which was 2000 miles both ways and when I told them I was running on recaps and then ran out of my 70 on the trip back it was basically dismissed .

My husband is leased on to this company and I ride with him all the time. We love everything about this company. They care about their drivers, the pay is excellent, and the facilities are wonderful. Plan to be with this company for many years to come.

Worked there a year trucks look good but many MANY breakdowns. Was a constant struggle to get home and the pay about average for the industry. Pretty much typical of the over the road trucking industry.Nothing special
