By far the better of the casinos now.. better than when i was younger

I like to eat at the Prospector Cafe inside the casino. It by far as one of the better places for breakfast lunch or dinner at a reasonable price and always keeps me coming back to that casino to gamble.

The Red Garter was fine , the transportation service was questionable. Your driver Manual bus 338 on 7/19/17 . Refused to take myself and friend a bock further down the street to the RedGarter cause he had to take his break . I find this in very poor taste and bad customer service. Joe Montoya.

Not a lot to do. The setup is a little inconvenient as most games are on one floor and the cashier is on another. They have machines to turn in tickets and break bills but they were disabled when we tried to use them. Stayed and gambled for about 20 minutes and left. Probably won't be back.

I had a wonderful night here. It seems they recently remodeled some or all the rooms and my bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. No bugs, no dirty sheets, just a good night's sleep. Prospectors Cafe is a pretty good place to eat too.

Stayed on the weekend for about $160 for a room with a king bed. The room was adequate but it's more like a $60 room then a $160. No fridge, no coffee maker or microwave. The room window was parking lot side so it was hard to make the from dark with all the outside lights bleeding through the curtains. Once you get over the smell of an antiquated building it's an okay place. If you're there to gamble it's about the same as any other casino floor. For a Saturday night there were not enough cocktail waitresses as I think 1 person came around the entire evening. Went to the restaurant for breakfast sunday morning. Nobody said that a buffet was available so we ordered off the menu only to later realize there was a breakfast buffet. Oh well breakfast was good. The Starbuks for coffee was about the only choice. Had one person working. The line was long but she did the best she could.

This casino was renovated big time. Its fairly nice, but awful ventilation enough cigarette smoke to burn eyes & make feel sick, other casinos suck it out better. Nice meals in cafe real good prices, good parking easy to get into. But casino room deposit is $75.00 abit steep compared to say Nugget. My friends said room OK I didn't see it, I was in another casino.

Worst place in wendover. Stay at quality inn or motel 6 before this dump

This is my favorite hotel/casino to stay at while in Wendover. The rooms are cheap, it's not overly loud or crowded, the game selection is awesome (my favorite is the electronic blackjack), the waitresses are friendly, and the food is cheap and delicious. It's literally a one stop shop for a fun, relaxing, boozy weekend.

I love the customer service, here. They are fast and answer your question with full detail. The rooms are very nice since they recently renovated the place. I always pick a King bed for my stay because who doesn't want to feel like a King in a lovely place like this? Not expensive at all, would highly recommend it to friends and family.

They took me to travelscape link charged me 182.88 then the hotel charged me 113.60 that is over priced for one night it is a RIP off

Great place for breakfast, good prices. They have made some upgrades, looks better inside.

Just went in for a meal. Got plenty of food and wasn't very expensive at all. Tasted great too.

This review is for the Casino and the little coffee /breakfast place. The casino is pretty big it has lots of newer slots that are fun to place such as WIlly Wonka and Flintstones and few others. The coffee sandwhich place is great and so so cheap.

Smells like an old ashtray. Restaurant has poor service, and smells like an old ashtray even though it is "nonsmoking". Yuck.

red garter is a great place to have fun. I've been coming to hear your since I was old enough to gamble. And they've gotten pretty classy lately. The service is great the rooms are nice perfect for the weekend getaway.

They have a bunch of new games and a very cheap breakfast. 3.99. Since remodeling the rooms there's a deposit. However, if you have a CDL you can get a free room for one night and a 5.00 dinner. Beds are comfy and staff is nice.

Trash food literally couldn't even eat it and the bar wasnt even fully equipped for the menu they provided.

The red garter is run down. Most of their slot machines are old and well played. Some are broken and dirty. In my experience, they are pretty tight with their slots but they do have the best italian restauraunt in town. I prefer to play elsewhere, but I do like to eat there.

Get a new Playlist. Same 3 songs on repeat gets old quick.

One of the Casinos in Wendover, Nevada. The Casino has good food and drinks, as all casinos possess. Clean, plenty of Tv's to be entertained and you may be a Winner as we were (small winning, we exit with more than we arrived). It is a smaller casino but it is bigger on the inside. Good food, clean restrooms, clean floors in casino, and plenty of floor walkers to assist you when needed. Be ready to be a winner, you may express your enjoyment as you leave.
We stop here on our way to Arizona and our way back to Oregon.

Recently updated, it's a cheap facade on a poor casino. Frequently visited by locals, not as friendly as other casinos and the dealers especially Ray are rude. Rooms are terrible, never stay here, fun to visit occasionally to gamble.

I only gambled. But the experience was pleasant and I was treated fine.

They have really cleaned it up. But still didn't win a thing.

Good price for the food, staff friendly and decent variety of food items on menu. The only problem I had was their water they give you is tap water and Im not too fond of Nevada tap water.

Stay FAR away from ordering the Breakfast Buffet. Cold, hard pancakes, cold almost everything. Its definitely not worth the price.

If you're looking for a really good breakfast take a trip to the Salt Flats Cafe.

I'm not sure that the "chilli" that I got was fit for my dog. Gross, watery and flavorless

Spent some time gaming here. Dealer acted like didn't want to be there. Waitress was very nice though.

The fire alarm went off 3 times in the first hour i was there, each for an obnoxiously long period of time. There was a lot of construction noise due to their remodel, and my door didn't latch or lock and they didnt seem to want to accommodate me either.

I do not dislike this place I actually like the prospector cafe , every time I go to Wendover I eat there.

Their breakfast came from the freezer section of the local grocery store. It took almost forty minutes from ordering to receiving our food. If you've lost all your money and need an extremely cheap meal, go here.

Very very lovely place - only complaint is the they aren't to free on there free drinks , had to hunt down a server and she took almost 15mins to come back. So if they wanted me to reckless gamble is wasn't happening with the slow service.

I WILL NEVER NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN ! INTERNET WAS DOWN ! HAD TO ASK ABOUT WHAT TV CHANNELS! OUR COFORTERS WERE DIRTY ( LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE JUMPED ON THEM WITH THIER MUDDY SHOES) TERRIBLE RESTRAUNT AND FOOD!!!

Was a decent Casino, The service desk was extremely unorganized, reserving a room online or at the desk is no difference in price. A guest in line behind me with little kids asked if I've ever stayed before, I said yes. Unfortunately, she had already waited a half hour in line, had paid for her room and the gentleman at the desk had issued her and her little ones (3,5,7) the wrong keys to her room.. She ended up walking in on a couple of other guests that were indisposed at the time, her kids will forever be scarred! I actually let her go ahead of me and I put in a complaint, and made sure my keys would be to the correct room. Other than that, it was a good experience and decent room but I personally don't care for that casino.

Was hard to find attendant when machine wouldn't print cash out receipt. The restaurant had poor service. We were first out of 4 couples to be seated, last to have order taken and took along time for food to arrive. Bathrooms were clean, games were fun. Waitresses were pleasant and were the only people working that would smile.

Face lift is the only thing new about this place. It has cheap food. And you get what you pay for.

Prime rib was tough and a lot of fat. Poor service.

I do not know something this casino has that I love to go you have fun with little money and the best you go out until I win a good prize

Favorite hotel in Wendover because it is not nearly as crowded as any of the other casinos.

Fun machines to deposit your money in. Hopefully you get to collect some of it.

They are really tight with the winnings. Mostly older crowd 55+.

Great location, excellent price! Was only disappointed by the fact there was no type of mini fridge. Would stay there again.

The room was okay. The cafe was not.( Food took 45 minutes, arrived over cooked and cold. Gaming was okay..

We had an impulse trip to wendover and were happy with rates, service and amenities.

We stopped by for breakfast. The price was good, but I didn't eat much because the food tasted cheap.
