Smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke. Fun time and had a good dinner.

Being a trucker I get a good deal on a good room. The prospector has good enough food. I stay often. The only thing I can say is the cocktail waitress is hard to find.

Its been a littlw bit since ive been there. They are much better than the other colorful location close by. Unlike said other, the Red Garter actually brings you drinks. I didnt win much but ive had really good luck here in the past. If you're not sure where to go, stop by this one first then move on to others.

Rooms are really nice after remodel. But the noise from the room next door(think it was the plumbing) was awful. When I mentioned this upon check-out I was told that I should of called the front desk at time it was occuring (right, someone is at the front desk at 3 o'clock in the morning. Slot machines were tight. Staff was very unfriendly. Would not stay there again.

Never had a bad experience at Red Garter. The staff is friendly and quick to respond. The Prospectors Cafe has a great selection and has yet to disappoint.

The casino is in terrible shape. Multiple leaks from the ceiling with water just dripping into buckets. Rather than close, make immediate repairs, clean the area, and dry it professionally...they just let it drop into buckets. Probably plenty of mold and bacteria floating around in the air. Would never recommend this casino.

I always love to stay there every time we go out there we aleays have to stay at The Red Garder. The best hotel even after the remodeling. It's very beautiful....

Front desk polite, professional and friendly. Sarah and Justin maybe. Very nice and rooms are always clean and comfortable.

They are always help full, and the cocktail waitresses are friendly and prompted.

New ownership at Nugget & Red Garter. Lots of changes (not necessarily good ones). Not happy with reduced comps & lower winnings on slots. Now prefer other casinos across the way.

It was great service didnt stay in a room but employees were very helpful

Boring and staff wasn't nice. I forgot my maak and the staff just yelled at me to get out.

Had a good experience there. Beds are comfortable and the downstairs games are great.

If it was just the room would be higher, yhe remodeled rooms are nice for the price. The dealers at the tables are hit and miss. The lady at the roulette table was mad aboyt something and made sure all the customers knew it, not cool. The cafe has good food and prices but the service is very slow.

The Red Garter rooms are really nice. The casino floor is smaller than other casinos but they have good staff.

Was big mad. We didn't have no internet nor TV when I stayed there this time. We had a first floor room this time and we smelled smoke from the casino all night. This trip was bad this go round!

The blackjack dealer was super nice and personable. She made the experience very fun.

The restaurant was a bit disappointing, food cold and slow service.

Love this place . I do best in the morning after everyone else goes to bed.

The hotel was clean and the rooms not too bad for just sleeping. My stars come from these observations:
1: no latch on the doors. I'm a fan of the little bit of extra piece of mind where once you're in for the night you can lock the door and swing that arm across the door jam preventing anyone from coming in. Like in the morning where, in a drunken stupor you forgot to put up the do not disturb sign the night before and now housekeeping is coming in at 9 am? That arm comes in handy
2: holy lack of insulation/sound proofing!! I could hear doors closing on the 1st floor from our 2nd floor room. And let's not even discuss the drunken conversations that took place in the hallway we were privy to from our room at 4 a.m
3: NO COFFEE POT! 1st world problems yes, however I'm too freaking grouchy to make it down to the Starbucks without at least 1 cup of java to prevent death on the way. I get no mini fridge or microwave, but no coffee pot. Stone ages I tell ya.

They have a great, cheap breakfast. Gambling pretty good, some customer service issues. But over all they rock!

Pretty dark when you first walk in. Wasn't too busy. No luck on slots. Not impressed.

Boy oh boy this place has changed over the years. And that's not a bad thing. I remember when it used to a small little place on the edge of town. Somebody put a lot of $$$ into this place and really gave it a facelift!

I'm not sure if it's still available, but it was a cheap breakfast place after a night of entertainment/gambling. Nice to see some of the old building along with the new.

Nice enough rooms, good casino, awesome staff. The diner has good food and good prices.

After leaving the Golden Nugget because the new manager really didn't know her job, and the slot boss was excessively rude I moved over to the Garter. The staff was fantastic, the manager friendly and the slot boss very helpful. Mike and Kimberly changed my 2 day stay into a great visit. I'll be sure to drive past the nugget right on over to the Garter. Thanks guys!!

Poker dealer was rude and very unfriendly in fact all employees were very unfriendly I I probably won't be back. The restaurant the coffee was very late coming to the table the food was cold. Very unpleasant.

It can't be beat for the price! Surprised by the food at the Italian restaurant. Edit: food was not very good the second time going here.

The buffet is not worth the price. I got raw chicken and not many choices. Friday night buffet

Other than the casino initially being hit, it was a nice place to stay

Not much of an area to watch sports compared to the other Casinos. But they have done some good remodeling to keep a good appearance otherwise.

I tried to go to sleep around midnight and started itching, got up and realized I had many bites all over my arm. Checked out immediately, they said they would give me a refund. Iv stayed here once before and not had a problem, so I can't say if this is a consistent problem. It did seem like the blanket under the sheet hadn't been washed, and was dirty.

Cheap in price, nothing special, but it gets the job done. Especially when there is the 24 hour shuttle to each casino.

The staff in most areas was helpful and courteous. The Prospector Cafe was probably understaffed that evening and we waited 30 minutes and no one came. We tried again in the morning and the service was much better. No more than 5 minutes and our order was taken. Overall a good place to stay.

In my opinion the red garter has went downhill, They are now charging 90 plus dollars per night weeknights room rates, $130 a night for weekend rates, It is a lot cheaper to stay at 1 of the Peppermill resorts

I just try their New York steak. It was really bad. Very cold. I think they just microwave it. Waring!!!!!!!!!!! Check your drinks make sure, it taste like what you order. Severing fake drinks. Be careful. I give them BBB. Means BAD...BAD.....BAD....place to do anything.

Love the renovated rooms! It is a wonderful deal for truck drivers to only have to pay $10 for a room. Thank you Red Garter. There is nothing better than a good night's sleep!!

Great food at the diner and still some old school slot machines

Staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean, but with questionable stains on the comforters. Had 3 people in the room but were told only 2 towels were allowed. WiFi was spotty. Overall, what you'd expect for the price.

Rooms were decent for the price...naturally the slots are a waste of time unless you're just there for the drinks.

The Buffett had strange hours and it was hard to locate an atm that didn't have a long line. Wasn't very impressed by the place with the exception of the little coffee place. The prices were a little inflated but my frappe was amazing!

Had a great a great stay at the Red Garter last weekend. They have renovated and the rooms are a lot nicer for the same low price. It's a smaller hotel and casino with a few tables but at least the friendliest dealers in Wendover. It's also right next to Lee's discount liqour which makes it the perfect location!

I go here for decent inexpensive rooms and food. No reason to go elsewhere in town. I am not into gambling, but this looks like a comfortable spot to lose as much as you want.
