Was very disappointed and the Weekend Buffet says it's going to start at 8 a.m. in the morning today they didn't even get the food out there for the buffet in till 9:30 a.m. . It was cold and it normally has Seviche on it and this time they didn't bother putting that out there.

It's so dead it almost feels like my very own casino. Only roughly 20 people in there the last several times ive gone. Also this was really cool, a random jackpot without getting the progressive bonus.

The Red Garter Hotel and Casino was excellent. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious and the gambling was semi-lucrative. The atmosphere was better than the older casinos there. It's newer and looks nicer too than the others in the area.

We have stayed here three times and the first two times were pretty good. It s not as crowded as the other casinos, the rooms are decent enough, and for a smaller casino they have a nice variety slots.

But sadly, we will not be returning. Last night a machine malfunctioned and ate a $5 bill of ours. Thinking this wasn t a big deal, we kindly called over a slot attendant and she immediately gave us a sour attitude and assumed we were lying to her. She told me there s no way I could even put money in the machine because the call attendant prompt was on the screen. I explained that the prompt showed up AFTER I put my money in, but she continued to be extremely rude and said I was lying.

After she toyed with the machine for about 5 minutes she regretfully pulled out my crumpled $5 bill and handed it to me. I asked her to please not assume people are always lying and she responded with I don t care what you think and stormed off.

This is not how you treat people that are spending hundreds to thousands of dollars at your workplace.

Aside from that interaction, the fitted sheet on our bed wasn t pulled over one corner of the mattress and there were hairs in the blankets which makes me question the thoroughness of housekeeping. Also, the free meal you get with a $170 room purchase consists of horribly slow service and barebones pasta with sauce (no meat) just straight up marinara, alfredo, or pesto.

I know this hotel is often a last resort when the other hotels are booked, but honestly I would recommend to not waste your money and wait for a weekend with other options.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I usually play the slot machines at the red garter and usually win. The cocktail servers are prompt with the drink offerings. But I also give a good chips when I drink

Make sure to reserve a room instead of getting one at the last minute because they're a hell of a lot cheaper and nicer but then again at 12:00 at night when you're buzzed out you really don't care what kind of room you get as long as you have somewhere to rest your head. Always love staying at the red Carter or the Golden Nugget because they treat you well!

The staff at the counter is the best part. Rooms and casino were pretty great as well . Just stay the hell away from the restaurant inside . You will deal with an extremely rude and forgetful staff there and the food is horribly prepared and non of our requests for how it was prepared we're done . They do not care at all . Especially the rude hostess who gave us so much grief about how unhappy we were with our experience.

Was impressed with the remodeling, rooms are very clean and redone, cost was good, and the casino is not over crowded.

The Beans and Brews was a huge bonus as I'm not a Starbucks fan and I hear the food is really good. I would go back again.

I really wish there was a "no service" option. No matter what we were trying to get; a drink, place to sit at their restaurant, or even just to get a players card, no service no help and when we were seated at the restaurant... It was at a sticky table with an unbelievably dirty floor. If I don't make it out of here alive, you know where to find my corpse.

I stayed here last Saturday night (January 4, 2020). I had a single king room, it was simple but very comfortable and very clean. I was very pleased and plan to stay here in the future. 5 stars here too
For dinner, the wife and I ate at the Italia restaurant. Very good and reasonable price and a good wine list. 5 stars here
After dinner , spent a couple hours playing the slots for some needed relaxation before retiring for the night/ wee hours of the morning. 5 stars here too

It's back opened "YES" I love the Red Garter the hotel is so nice and clean, the people are so Wonderful every one, I love every employee that works there they are great, thanks again Red Garter for all the fun, until I see you guys again k. At least 4 times a month keep up the great work.

I purchased a room at the Red Garter the night of 6/20. My boyfriend was in the room not even for 5 hours when he noticed the bed was infested with Bed Bugs!! (They claim to have not seen them at all and did not think it prudent to check the surrounding rooms for bed bugs either). He came and got me immediately and I saw them for myself. Upon talking to the front desk they were apologetic but very rude. They stated they would give me a refund for the room and that it should go through in a short amount of time. It has been a week and my bank has confirmed it should have gone through and no such thing. I have spoken with a very rude and confrontational manager named Stephanie multiple times on the matter and she does not feel responsible for anything more as her system shows a refund. While I was conferenced with her and my bank we were placed on hold, she did not realize that I could still hear her and when another unknown employee came in to ask her something she stated "I am tied up at the moment with this A$$%&@s refund, give me ten minutes". I do not appreciate being treated this way especially from a business in the hospitality industry. I will never be staying here again and hope nobody else will.

This place has really improved over the years. They have great rooms, clean and quiet. The casino has lots of new and fun games. The only thing I wish they could work on would be having cocktail waitresses come around more often.

Stopped by for lunch and some gambling. The Cafe had great food though the service was a little slow. Plenty of fun slots to play and it wasn't very crowded. The only table games open were blackjack so if you want to play craps you'll be better off elsewhere.
