It was nicer than I remembered. They must have updated. The slots are so tight it's not worth wasting your time. The room was nice but very minimal. Not enough towels. No bars on the tub to prevent slipping. No tub mat and the tub was very slippery. Very low water pressure.

No more 2 dollar tables. Looks like Wendover is following in Vegas footsteps

Rooms have been upgraded and very accommodating with drinks and service

Well I was hungry so i went to cafe. And my eggs over easy were over cooked hash browns cold and corned beef hash was hot so i mixed all up made the best of it ....

I will always have a soft spot for the Red Garter. When I was growing up my dad would refer to the lady on the marque as "The Shady Lady" and we enjoyed the food here throughout management changes to today. The atmosphere is unique to it, and it alone. Try your luck, or just the food

I've been to Wendover probably like 10 times since moving to Salt Lake, and not until this past weekend have I realized that I've never actually traveled the entire strip. I usually stop at The Nugget or or Mandalay Bay. My friends mentioned that they were at the Red Garter and I said, "what's that? A Strip club." No, it's not a strip club. It's just another depressing, cigarette smoke drenched casino built in the 70's and never updated. Even by stereotypical Wendover standards, this place is sort of at the bottom of the totem pole. Their craps and roulette tables shut down at like 11 PM and tell everyone to go next door to the Rainbow if they wish to play those sorts of games. What I can say is that Melissa at the front desk is an awesome broad with superior customer service and is very personable. But yeah, everything else here, and the idea of waking up here depresses me and makes me question my previous night's decisions.

My daughter ate some yellow cupcakes in the bedroom and got a lil bit of frosting on the sheets. I was really surprised when I was checking out they charge me for the sheets instead of washing them. Frosting is really easy to wash out of sheets. I will never forget this place or ever come back. There s been better luck at the Peppermill.

Gambeling suxs arse, i never win (yes i know all the games are stacked fir the house to win) other than that nice place

Staff could be more friendly but besides that experience was fun!

I like the garter, less crowded, and I seem to keep my money longer here and sometimes win a little bit

Rooms were clean and staff was as very professional. I had no problems during my visit there.

I would not even give a star to this resort. The service is horrible. Come on really.......if you hate your job that much go home. Then to top it all off I forgot two clothing items in my room after check out and called the very next day and found out they were in the lost and found. I told the front desk I would be going back for them. One week later come to find out they gave them to someone else. Yeah sure.... house keeping sure loved what was left behind. No I am not an angry gambler. I don't gamble. Good luck trying to get a manager to speak to you. Overall these idiots should just jump off a cliff because they wouldn't know customer service if it bit them in the ass. Do not stay there.

We got to the hotel and checked into are room at 630. Went to dinner and came back to someone was in our room. We told the front desk are room was dirty and bath tub had hair all over the inside. So they decided to give us another room without letting us know. Great but the people who answered the door had the same complaint

Great Italian restaurant. Good breakfast in cafe. Service in all areas can be spotty.

Nice casino and the prospector restaurant is awesome!

I liked the coffee shop. It was almost empty though and i didn't win any money. I like the atmosphere there.

Rooms were ok. Only had conditioning shampoo. No lotion :( No fridge. No microwave. No coffee maker. For over $120 you'd think you would have a little more amenities. Probably won't stay again.

My husband and I stayed in the deluxe suite with the hot tub. It was a very nice room the hot tub worked awesome and to top it all off the steam shower was great! No issues with our stay at all.

The food at the prospector Cafe was reasonably priced and pretty tasty. The service was great. Very friendly.

Everything was ok except the restaurant. Waited 45 minutes for them to say we gave your food to someone else. We waited another 25 for them to make new. The manager did not give a damn but gave us 50% off. Food was horrible!

Kind of a sad place... No restaurants were open when we stopped by on a Tuesday evening... Went down the road to rainbow. Try a different local... Rooms were cheap at least.

Good place to stay. Paid too much for room however. Small room. No fridge, microwave etc. Clean but expected more for the room we got.

My waiter was super nice. His daughter came in and it was so sweet to see the encounter. Made me want to have more kids watching them. It was special. I give this place 5 stars!

This is the first place I stop when I get to Wendover. The restaurant there has good food

First time there. It was fun. I won 25 bucks off 5 bucks in the slots.

Really nice place if you're looking a more relaxed night of gambling, and the rooms are super cheap.

It sucks they don't even know do you have the garters anymore like they used to

We go here for the breakfast special at the prospector cafe. $3.99 for two eggs, hash browns choice of ham bacon or sausage and toast. Always delightful. They also have a breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday for $7.95.

Stopped in to check out the food and casino. Don't think I would go back. The vibe in the casino wasn't as fun as the other casinos in Wendover. The place looked a little run down. There was a leak in the ceiling with a bucket to collect water in the middle of the casino walk way.

Food was GREAT! And this one wasn't so busy, so I was actually able to focus on tables and enjoy myself.

The inside is still very crowded feeling, but the improvements they've made are a huge difference

Love the prices. Love the tables and machines. We come every chance we get. The restaurant is great food for very reasonable prices.

The waiter was fantastic, the food was good for the price.

I just visited the casino, craps table opens at 7 pm on Saturday night.

We have been coming to Wendover for years, we just recently started camping at the campground behind the Red garter, so we decided to try the Red garter on Sat Aug 4 about 10PM, Wow, big mistake for us. We sat down at the $5 blackjack table and met the rudest dealer ever, she was more interested in going home then being at work for sure. When the next dealer came on, he was no better. Rude and no sense of humor. It's to bad, as the rest of the place looked nice. Oh well, there are plenty of great dealers at the other casinos in Wendover.

Waited for over 30 minutes while 3 other guest were seated after us, and watched them get their before we even got our drink orders in.

We went for a ride because we were getting bored just sitting in the house. We stopped at the red garter for lunch. It was okay, nothing great, but my wife liked the pie, so according to her, we can go back.

Wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. Great rooms, nice comps and huge casino. Restaurant served excellent food. Going back again soon!

We have stayed at the Red Garter before and have not had any problems. This time they charged us more than what they quoted on the phone, charged for an extra night, and didn't have any of the good coups they had before. The food was still really good and the Goonies slot machine was lots of fun.

We went in specifically for coffee at Beans 'n' Brews. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were nice. There was no escaping the cigarette smoke, which is typical of casinos in the area.

Nice place to play, but it took too much of my money. ;-)

M465 main building room overlooking the middle atrium. Pretty loud echoing throughout the night . Room was nice a clean . Except bathroom floor was covered in water upon arrival . I ended up having to fix the float on the toilet for it to quit flooding. Other than that birthday trip was pretty good. Check on Wi-Fi didn't work for us.

Its so amazing in the Red Garter The dinner was so fabulous and the bar was amazing got to see the game it was a good time I spent.

Love my little ghetto casino! It's smaller than the others, but it had a genuine old western saloon feel to it because it attracts the riff raff around town. Don't bring your kids here, you'll see them working down the street in about 6 months from the day of their disappearance. The bar is great! The tenders are all Mexican, but they speak English very well and know what a double shot of Patron looks like. Hate the gift shop, i think it's a front for the bartenders cocaine business. Most of the atms don't work, they could be mistaken for a slot machine because they won't spit any money out either. Didn't get a chance to stay at the hotel, but Im sure that wouldn't disappoint either. Just check your rooms for cameras first, and for hells sakes, don't use the towels. Ask the bartender if you can borrow his. All in all i really like the red garter. Just don't have to high of expectations for glamour. Happy gambling and good luck!

This place is awful. Managers have no customer service skills. We were hopeful things would change with new owners but things are getting worse. Haven t been here for months and I got a charge on my cc for the restaurant. Manager said they were having system problems put refused to fix the issue saying it wasn t his problem

Walls are very thin. Heard everything in the hallway all night long. Casino is small as well

Winner winner chicken dinner. Up $200 on blackjack. Staff was nice and made me feel welcome.

Nice for the money, decent food and accommodations.

Absolutely awful, 90% of the machines were closed off and the place was absolutely tiny and gross.

Room was remodel, comfortable, love staying at the Red Garter.
