Nice staff. Pretty location. Very small selection of food items.

I can't really see myself stopping in here again since it's a bit out of the way and there are dozen other options in the area for local produce and goods.

You can get organic produce almost anywhere now--but not like the wonderful fare on Tuesdays at Red Fire Farm booth at Farmer's Market in Forest Park day.

I had to curb my enthusiasm after picking up red, red organic tomatoes, lovely eggplant and cucumbers and a yellow zucchini, and some peaches and swiss chard, and ground tomatoes (yum--thank you Gabe for your help), and ...well you can see I didn't really resist much.

I can't wait to make my sauteed veggie bowl of onions, garlic, swiss chard, canellini beans and shitake mushrooms (from Urban Artisan Farm booth) with two poached eggs.

This is the freshest produce around, and certainly the friendliest service as well.

The girl running things inside was KINDA friendly but all plants were dead. When I asked her why and said it looked like nothing was watered, she looked offended but said "well, that's why their dead"

we didn't pick strawberries because she said they had been mostly picked through, so we looked in the refrigerated case for some. Even most of those, not all, were shriveled.

I was honestly shocked that they were selling dead tomato plants, literally dead.

Travelers, here is a place to buy local, organic foods that include all sorts of fruits and vegetables, cheeses and some meats. Delicious. The vegetables are grown local, in the area. The cheeses and meats are local too. This is a stop worth making.

Pricey

I absolutely love visiting this organic farm. The staff are always ready to answer questions, and the produce us really incredible! Seeing an organic farm at work restores my faith in humanity!

Great day for the family.

Great day for the family.

Had my mom, my sister and cousin and three nieces and nephews (2 - 10years old) picking strawberries. All of them were able to pull the strawberries off the vines.

The farm had a strawberry tasting of 12 different kinds of strawberry from watery to sweet to tart.

The fields have different combinations of strawberries so you pick the field best based on your preference.

For people that don't like to much walking it's very field picking fields but you do need to bend down to get strawberries. It was much easier for the kids to get them . Let's just say they did most of the work.

The ground could get a bit uneven at times but good for the most part.

I will definitely visit again.

They do accept debit cards as well.

We visited this farm in the middle of spring because we saw they were selling garden plants. They had a good variety of tomato plants for sale that I've never seen in other larger nurseries, including black cherry, wild, and chocolate stripe. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Inside they were offering free refreshments and a 'door prize' that consisted of your choice of garden plant. They had local honey, pastries, drinks, and freshly grown produce for sale.

The farm also offer co-op farming for fruits, vegetables, and eggs. They have an annual tomato festival in the summer as well.

This year's summer share was a joke. I also now know from one of your previous employees that you don't even put out your best things for csa members because you already have their money.
Everything is also very hard to navigate and the quantities of pick your own is worthless to csa. A handful of blueberries?! That's not even worth the time...

Red Fire is a great presence at farmer's markets, and events put on for the community are always enjoyable. However, as a former employee, it was extremely distressing watching some members of the Somali harvest crew mistreat animals that found their way onto the farm. These crew members use hoes to drive out kildeer from their nests when planting over them, throw rocks at garter snakes in an effort to kill them, and once tore a frightened mouse away from nursing babies while management stands idly by. I'm more likely to buy from a farm when I know the wildlife around it is being respected.

I've had CSA farm shares from Red Fire Farm for several years, and the quality of their produce can't be beat. I've also visited the farm several times for pick-your-own herbs, their annual August tomato festival, and dinners hosted on the farm and had an absolutely amazing time. Worth the 2 hour drive from Boston!

Very bucolic and a great selection of veg and other products. But the self pay set up is awkward and confusing, and asking for help was met with derision. Would feel uncomfortable going back.

I cannot express my amazement at the difference between RFF's produce and what you buy at other local farms or stores. Top notch, excellent, organic! I have not felt healthier, nor the the food on my table tasted better since I began eating mostly Red Fire Farm's produce. Thank you RFF for your investment into your community!

Great staff pick up some great plants for the planting season, got some honey for my honey, plan to go back for the pick your own starting in June. Also got a free kohlrabi for my purchases. And we all know what kohlrabi is good for. If you do tell me. It's a nice trip if you're in the area stop out in I think it's one of the better farms in the valley.

I love my CSA! I've been getting vegetables from Red Fire for years, and I love being part of their community. I really appreciate their newsletter with updates from the farm, including photos, and simple recipes for the vegetables in the share. I view my CSA as an investment in the farm as well as a supply of vegetables. Living in the city, the CSA helps me feel much more connected to the land.

Great farm share program for organic produce, although transparency isn't their thing. Lately, you pick up your share and are surprised at the contents. It is a good crop year, so the surprises are pleasant.

The terms of the share aren't clear, since there are sales through share, retail and grocery stores. In a bad crop year who loses?

--------later---now 3*-------
Now they've diluted the shares by selling additional shares and the August 2020 storm Isaias reduced harvesting. A full share is no longer enough to feed a small family for a week. Question answered, you do get to share in the downside but not the upside.
