The waitress here was super friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. The food was very well prepared and everything we tried was delicious. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 was that the seating was very tight. They were very busy, but sitting 7 grown men at a 6 person table isn't going to be comfortable.

Tight space - I ended up in the seat that every waiter hit when they walked by. The seared Ahi Tuna appetizer was ultra spicy. I had the $30 shrimp and grits. The shrimp had minimal flavor and the grits were a greasy, clumpy mess. The service was slow, but friendly. I did enjoy the live music.

Extremely consistent restaurant, we love coming here. Food is great, drinks are great, and I'd recommend sitting at the bar or around the bar - especially when they have live music. They do take reservations and I would recommend as they fill up quickly. We typically stick to the seafood or sushi, but their steaks, salads and sandwiches are great too.

The best service I have ever had periodt!! The food was phenomenal. The service doesn't get any better than this. if we got up to use the restroom they would come fold your napkin for you no matter how many times you got up. Truly an amazing place. They are definitely 5 star in my book. Will be going back to show other friends and family a good time with excellent food and excellent service. Our server was Jesus, THE BEST!!!!

I regret to say we will be avoiding this establishment. We called to make a reservation, to which they stated they did not take reservations on Saturdays. Fine. When we showed up, they said it would be an hour wait, which is fine, they were busy. For the next twenty minutes, my wife and I sat and watched the hostesses seat six groups of reservations that they do no take on Saturdays. Then they seated two different couples that came in behind us. This is not how restaurants should do business. And before anyone refutes what I've just said, I'd like to add that the fourth group that came in behind us stated loud enough for me to hear, "We are ... for a seven o'clock reservation." I will not include their name. If you have no more available reservations, say that. That makes sense. Saying you don't take them, and then seat them while I'm waiting to be seated is outrageous.

We went here for a birthday dinner and the service unfortunately was not up to par. My husband's glass had lipstick on it when the waiter, who was not attentive, brought it out. Another guest from the dinner had extremely watered down lemonade. The food was good not great, like you expect from a fine dining restaurant. Not worth the money.

I love this establishment, when I booked our reservation online it ask me if this was a special occasion, so I listed we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, from the minute we checked in every employee we crossed paths with, wished us a happy anniversary it was so nice, the employee's from the hostesses, to the busboy stopped at our table to acknowledge our anniversary, our waiter Ezekiel was awesome he was kind, attentive, and even his joking around was funny and professional , i can not say enough about the staff, they seemed to be like family with one another.. NOW ON TO THE FOOD , My steak was cooked to perfection, and probably the best steak I've ever had, my husband's seafood plate, was so good, the salmon and the crab cakes were delicious, this is a place that I highly recommend,..the only thing negative is make sure you park in the correct parking garage or you will end up paying no less then 20 dollar's for parking,

Ray's used to be our favorite place to go!! We loved the Ray's signature lemon drop martini but it has not been good the past times we've been there. Recently Ray's has gone downhill and is nothing like it used to be. We have been extremely disappointed in the quality our last few visits.

Disappointed. My meal (grouper and parmesan fries) was just okay, not good enough to order again. The restaurant was very busy and service was warm and friendly but exceptionally slow. We were charged for a drink we didn't order which i didn't realize until I got home and looked at the details of the bill. Not a terrible experience but it definitely didn't meet my expectations.

My husband and I stole a weekend away together and the level of service we received was Amazing. The processes that are in place for COVID-19 are excellent. The food was DELICIOUS. We will definitely visit again.

Food is very good. The food is absolutely awful. The hostessses are outright rude and actually liars. The service takes forever and the the servers are not helpful. They actually could not get soup to come out hot (multiple times it was cold)...don't eat here

Great lunch specials, fabulous weekday happy hour, and live music in the evenings. It's conveniently located right above the Peachtree Center MARTA station. The restaurant can get pretty crowded when major conventions and conferences are in town, so be sure to make a reservation just in case.

I usually go for the Pasta of the Day or Shrimp Po Boy during lunch and the Loaded Stateboro Blue Cheese Chips and a Lemon Drop during happy hour. The house wine selection is pretty good as well and the Salmon Oscar is sublime. You can't go wrong with this Atlanta favorite.

Rays always has excellent food and usually excellent service. But this past Saturday night went above and beyond! As always the steaks and
seafood were amazing. But this time the service was unparalleled! Our server was Chaianne and we were a party of 9! Of course we were loud, and she was phenomenal!! Our every wish was granted before we expressed it! I can't say enough about her service and always a smile.
We were celebrating the life of my brother who just passed. This was a wonderful celebration made even better by a truly wonderful server. If you go to Rays in the City and you don't get Chaianne...you lose!!

We chose Rays to celebrate our 14th anniversary. Made reservations explains it was our anniversary. We arrived and were promptly sat but sat in the front room which had a cafeteria vibe. It was so loud we couldn t hear our server introduce herself. Not what I expected for an anniversary celebration. We asked to be moved to the other side and was given a nice table in front of the bar, much quieter!!! We ordered the grouper and a steak (rare). Grouper was supposed to be horseradish encrusted so kinda spicy, it was super bland, no spice at all. Steak came out rare but it was charred/burnt badly on the outside. Lil black crispies falling off and had a very burnt taste which was overwhelming and undesirable. Server took forever to refill water so I had to share my water with my husband. A manager created us for the steak problems and instead of accepting the steak was too charred/burnt he said that s the way it s cooked. Not our first time here and have never had our $54 steak burnt before. The manager was kinda rude but did remove the cost of the steak. Let me add the AC was broken and we rushed through our meal because we were soaked with sweat. My nice pretty dress was stuck to my back side and my hubbies forehead was covered with sweat bubbles. We were not aware the AC was out until we asked why it was so hot half way through our meal. Happy anniversary, won t be back!

The Food was good and good service but there were tons of knats flying around! We killed several while eating. I guess the waiters didn't want to acknowledge it but this was very unsanitary.

Lovely restaurant and a great place to celebrate a special occasion. My husband and I came here to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. Complimentary champagne, as well as dessert. The food was delicious. I had the salmon, he had the halibut.
Also, they have 2 sections, one for dining.. and the other has a bar. On this particular evening there was live music. All around great experience.

I had the opportunity to visit Ray's in the City for my birthday. It was also my first time eating at Ray's. I had an amazing experience from the time I walked into the door. My waitress was Chaianne. She was knowledgeable of the menu. She offered suggestions as well. I had the seafood platter and it was seasoned to perfection. I also had the warm butter cake with blueberry compote and ice cream. I would definitely come back again. Thanks Ray's for my making my birthday special.

The food is always good, but the kitchen was quite slow last night. The halibut was delicious, but sauce for it arrived about 20 minutes after the fish did. Not the usual perfect experience.

Chaianne made our first experience at Ray's In the City so enjoyable! She was down-to-earth, professional and knowledgeable about the food. Her energy was everything. When we come back, we are definitely asking for Chaianne. Oh my gosh! the food...it was everything too!!!

Went to Ray's for the first time on 6/24 and the food was excellent!! The crab cakes we're super fresh and flavorful. The drinks were awesome and totally worth the price. Super friendly staff was a lovely added bonus. Next time I'm in Atlanta I'll definitely be going back to Ray's

We called when we were on the way to ask if they could seat five they said yes but then when we got there five minutes later we had to wait with plenty of empty tables in sight. Service was slow, I m still not really sure if our waiter spoke English. He never told us his name or offered any conversation. We were not offered any bread although I saw it on everyone else s table. I had the seafood platter and it was very average.

Jesus was an amazing waiter. We had two wonderful dinners with him while in ATL for market. Jesus took great care of us through the whole experience, and we will request him every time. We will come back because of him. Jesus deserves a raise!!

My complaint is with the service we received, the server Bobby was not interested in providing excellent service. The food was okay, the service was poor for the amount of money we spent. Very disappointed and the establishment is overrated.
