I recently went into Ray Chevy in Fox Lake to look at new pickup trucks. As soon as I entered the building Ian Beyer immediately greeted me and asked if he could help me. Ian worked with me for a number of hours looking, and test driving numerous trucks. I found one I liked and we started negotiating a price, in short time we came up with a price that I was very happy with along with the help of new car manager Oliver. Over all it was a pleasurable experience (one that is not normally expected when buying a new vehicle) and I would recommend Ray chevy and their staff to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

OK so I did my home work on line decided between a couple different makes of used vehicles. Now it was time to go test drive,went to 6 dealers, spoke with 9 salesmen.Most of which acted like the typical stereotype "car salesmen" you know the kind.
I was told for what I had to spend I would never find anything close to what I was looking for. Wrong! I found a (fully loaded) Honda Odyssey in my price range at Ray Chevrolet, for the price, I imagined a lemon, Wrong again.
It was a crazy busy night at the dealership but I was greeted by Ruperto (RUPE) Ayala I was made to feel like the only one in the place. Rupe took his time explaining everything to me about the car and my options I explained that my husband had the final say.
I came back the next day with him and instead of making us wait because he(Rupe) was with another customer he selflessly handed us over to Greg Kloczkowski who was not only attentive and helpful but just a funny genuine good guy.Who helped us step by step through the process.He helped us get just what we needed and was very patient with us. On the wall they have posted the code of ethics I do believe they live by it and that is why they are so successful, Ray Chevrolet was voted top dealership and now I know why. My husband and I bought a car from them in 1995 as well. I don't know why I bothered with the others! TJ Burke, service manager was great as well,now that I think about it everyone we came in contact with was nice, you would think we were buying a brand new 40,000 dollar car not just a measly under 10,000 dollar used Mom van! Thanks Guys,and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. We all have challenges in this life Some broadcast em some don't, Be Kind, you never know what some ones going through.

Came to look at Chevy Silverados. Right when we pulled in their lot, Tim was waiting for us offering to help. Im SUPER PICKY and he remained patient showing us so many different trucks until i found the one i wanted with the payment i was comfortable with. Super happy and would reccomend this dealer to anyone.

I do not usually write reviews but was so impressed with the customer service provided by Keith Ragusa that I had to share my experience. Keith gave me a great deal on my new 2016 Chevy Cruze and it was a hassle free experience. I was able to go for test drives, look at different options, offered financing and able to walk out with a brand new car within just a couple hours which I thought was pretty fast. Keith also gave me a fair price for my trade in and made myself and my family feel comfortable during the entire process. I would recommend Ray Chevy to anyone looking to buy a car and especially Keith for his customer first approach.

Ryan Golden and Ryan Borke are good people and great people to buy a truck from! Highly recommend Ray Chevrolet! They listened to what I wanted, showed me the options and worked with me on my trade in. The only way this could have been better was if they gave me the truck for free, needless to say they couldn't do that, but I drove home like a kid with a new toy and its been a very long time since I felt like that leaving a car dealer, Thanks Guys!

Tricked me into putting my down payment and trade in tword the sticker price of the vehicle, lied about the finance percentage, car has been back in the shop 2 times since I bought it brand new 3 months ago, Chris Willhelm called me drunk and swore at me asking whom he was speaking to after he called me and also tried to get me a loan from 20+ banks and told me it wouldn't affect my credit at all, went from mid 700s to low 500s... The only good experience I've ever had here is with Kyle Miller in the service department. I stay far away from this place and will never purchase another vehicle from Ray, or Chevrolet again.

My salesman Ed Dembski was great. Everything went very smooth and we walked out with a vehicle that we love. I would recommend go seeing Ed if you want a pleasant and easy experience.

Would give negative stars if possible, but they advertise helping people with bad credit or bankruptcies on there record and then expect people to drop $5k as a down payment. Inconsiderate and not a good place. 2 times been rejected now and them not wanting to help after the advertise they help people in my situation.

I just purchased my second Chevy Impala through Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake. My daughter, son-in-law and I were greeted by Rich Gniadek in the parking lot. Since I am disabled, Rich went out of his way to make me comfortable, then made sure that he knew exactly what I needed and/or wanted in my new car. He drove several cars up to the doors while the kids checked them out for me. I have never had such a pleasurable experience buying a car or met such a nicer salesman as Rich. Part of the reason being is that he answered any and all of my questions and he bent over backwards to meet all of our requests. I walked out of there feeling very satisfied that I received a very good deal and a great car. There are just too many good things to mention that our salesman Rich did for my kids and I while we were there, but those things really make a difference. Not only would I recommend Ray Chevrolet to my friends but I will make sure to send them to Rich Gniadek. In fact I dealt with a salesman, a protection plan advisor, a finance person and even the new car manager, and all were very accommodating. Go to Ray Chevrolet for your next car purchase, you will not be disappointed.

My Dad and I visited Ray Chevrolet after visiting our local Chevy dealer and not being satisfied with their service. We live a little over an hour away from Ray Chevrolet. My dad called and spoke to Hugo ahead of time on the phone and arranged for us to look at some Chevy Equinox. Hugo was VERY helpful. Once we arrived he had the cars ready for us to look at and test drive. He listened to what I was looking for and helped address the concerns I had. He did an exceptional job and I feel very happy with my purchase!!!

I was very pleased with my sales person Tony Jensen. He was polite and worked with me to get my car payment around what I could afford. He also gave me several options.

I came back the next day to finalize the paper work and had them check the engine light that had come on. It turned out to only be a loose wire which they quickly fixed for me.

I can't say enough about my experience with Ray Chevrolet. I went in looking for a used car and I was greeted by Josh. Josh then sat me down and listened to what I had to say about what I wanted. I told him what I wanted like price, color, fuel efficiency, etc... and he sat and wrote down everything and proceeded to show me the cars that matched my criteria. Little did I know I was going to be able to walk out of their with a brand new car!!! I am a college student and came into this with a very specific budget and Josh was able to put me behind the wheel of a brand new Chevy Sonic and I fell in love instantly. The best part was neither Josh or his sales manager were too pushy. They gave me my space and time when it came to making a decision and I can't tell you how comfortable they made me feel knowing well how this was my first car buying experience. I brought my used car there earlier today to sell it after emailing back and forth with them and disclosed to them that I did not want to drive it there because the brakes were bad. The sales associate spoke to her used car manager and he told her that they will guarantee the KBB price if I bring the car out. She said the dealership said they would definitely honor without seeing the car and per my email I can apply my offer to a vehicle purchase, or simply sell my vehicle outright to them and walk away - no strings attached! In the email it said that the dealership said the process is quick and easy, and their customers simply LOVE this new way to do business. I drove out to their location on very poor brakes and I talked to the used car manager upon arrival and he said he would not honor that price if I do not but a vehicle from him. Needless to say they did not follow their word. I would give ZERO stars if I could.

I took my friend here last night to buy a car because I've always been taken care of when I came in for my cars and they blew it out of the water this time! Rob our salesman was so helpful with everything we needed along with Ryan the manager and even Caitlyn in the office was super helpful! The customer service you receive here is incredible! You did business with my husband two months ago and stopped responding to him after false promises of completing his request. Bought a brand new truck, would expect simple follow up and honesty

I recently bought a Jeep Liberty from Ray Chevrolet. Like any car buying experience it ended up being a long day! With that being said, Justin Kestler was an excellent car salesman to work with making the experience well worth it. I am happy he was the salesman that met us out on the car lot. From the very start he was very up front with us and very knowledgable. In the end we ended up getting exactly what we needed and wanted. All employees that we met that day including those in the service department were really nice and willing to help. I would recommend buying a car from Ray Chevrolet with the help from Justin Kestler. Ryan Golden was not your typical car salesman. He took the time to work with me within my budget and explained every vehicle we looked at.

My family has been coming to Ray Chevrolet for years and I came in to buy my first new car yesterday. I was immediately greeted by George and felt like I was getting the all-star treatment. He found a few used cars to meet my needs but when I saw the new 2013 Cruze, I knew that was my car. He was very patient throughout the process with me deciding what to do and got everything done in a timely manner. A+ rating from me, highly recommended!

I bought a used Avalanche from Don White at Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake, IL. Don was great to work with. He was respectful, courteous and very helpful. The truck looked like new when I bought it, too. I believe this review is for Don and I want to give him the highest rating. Unfortunately, I was very displeased with the lengthy wait, over 3 hours, to get the deal done. After driving the truck and agreeing on a deal, I had to wait almost 2 hours to see the Finance person to finish the paperwork on the deal. That experience and my impression of the sales manager left me feeling like Ray Chevrolet was just another big dealership that doesn't care about the customer. Granted, that was just my impression and they can't be that big by making everyone feel that way, but based on other reviews here, my experience isn't uncommon.. Anyway, I really liked working with Don White. If you go there, ask for him!

My experience was great. Not even 5 minutes on the lot my father and i were greeted by Joan. He was very professional and curtious.

Keith Ragusa helped me find the right car for my life style. He keep my budget in mind the whole time, so the car that got wasn't more than what I needed but had some of the options that I wanted.

My sister and I both had an amazing experience at Ray Chevrolet, and particularly with Josh Byars in Sales and Ryan Borke for the financing. We threw a lot of curve balls at them, including thinking I wanted one car, ending up with another and also some financing dilemmas. This team provided amazing support, very informative, willing to work with both of us - and for that we BOTH walked away with new cars yesterday.

I typically dread the car-buying experience and have had to bring in people with more patience than I in the past, but neither of them made that necessary. I am beyond pleased with the experience, feel like I received a fair deal, and LOVE my new wheels! Great dealership... but.... once you buy a car from here. They will nag you forever to trade up. Had to block them on my phone. Plus one salesman talked to me like I was completely stupid. In a few years I will try somewhere else.

I just bought a new car, and Ryan Ronayne was very pleasant to deal with. I m very happy how he and Chris Wasek treated me through the whole process.

What a bunch of crooks. Checked out a 2008 trailblazer ss that was supposedly traded in but turns out they bought it at an auction. Truck needs front brakes, 4 new tires and a rear main seal. Initially i confronted the salesman about my issues and he said there technicians never "checked" it out and then later on he comes back to me and says that they new about the leak. So if i never had ask to see the truck on the lift and bought it i would of been eating at least $2k in labor to fix these problems which they were fully aware of. Also they were $4k higher than any other dealership with the same truck with the same mileage. I will never ever go back to this dealer.

Ryan Borke went out of his way (over 100 miles) to find our new truck. My husband is so happy; believe me that is not an easy feat to accomplish. Ryan knows his product and his competitors. We shopped all over and most sales just wanted to sell us what they had on the lot. Ryan is the only one that took the time to find what my husband wanted. I had a great experience with Tyler. Had a good test drive. Made the process of getting into a newer vehicle very easy after driving 3 hrs to another dealer for a bad experience.

This dealership and service dept are absolutely amazing!!!! I have had some bad experience at other dealerships in the area, but this one by far exceeds my expectations every time I come here. The main reason I even started coming here is because of Luis Riviera. He has been my service manager for years. I followed him to Ray from Rock Chevy because he is 100% trustworthy, reliable, and just a great guy all around. But I will say that all of the other Service Managers I have worked with at Ray Chevy, like Rob and a couple others have also taken great care of me and my car. I highly recommend this dealership and service dept!!!!

Well been here almost 2 hours waiting for a car they don't have. We were told the car was being transferred from Antioch so we waited and waited. Each time were told it'll be here shortly. Almost 2 hours later we're told the person who was bringing the Bolt never left Antioch dealership with it. PATHETIC is an understatement. Do yourself a favor and visit a different Chevrolet dealership.

I have been having a hard time getting my car in for service at the dealership that I purchased my car from. They never have availability for my schedule. I desperately needed to get an oil change and to have an inspection performed and felt like I was running out of options. Kyle Miller was able to get me in quickly and at a time that worked for me, he was polite and listened to what needed to be done. I WILL be bringing my car back to him for any future needs!

Sean Runions did a great job describing the features of the Colorado and explaining things on the test drive. Sales went very smooth as well as all other steps in the process. Overall, A Job well done!

Even though I did not purchase from Ray Chevy because the vehicle could not be configured as desired, both George's were very helpful and worked hard to get a deal made for me. Great experience all around.

I went in to buy a used Cobalt - not out of desire, but necessity. Why Ray Chevrolet? Because they had more Cobalts than any other dealership around - and trust me, I did my homework! My long and loving relationship with my VW Cabrio Convertible ended abruptly, and I was not ready nor prepared to move on. Dylan Strazzanti had the misfortune of having to try and make me want to love again. The Cobalt that I came in to look at, and ultimately purchase, sold while I pondered (a word of advice: don't wait too long over there; they are selling cars hand over fist!). In my case, it was less than an hour!

I had my back against the wall. I really needed to buy a car that day, though I didn't share that with Dylan. I had a very tight budget and was not easily pleased. I didn't really want to buy a car (my heart was still breaking over the loss of my VW), so Dylan had his work cut out for him. I won't bore you with any more of the sad details, but I will say that Dylan busted his hump and spent nearly all day with me. Due to his efforts, I drove off the lot that night in a car that I was pretty happy with. I was never pressured and was only treated with the utmost respect by the entire professional and friendly staff. Dylan stayed within the confines of my budget and never tried to get me to move up in payment. He answers any question I have and is sooo easy to work with. Because of the complexity of my situation, I've had to go to the dealership three times in two weeks (no wrong-doing on their part). During my last visit, I mentioned to him that I "Googled" a question, and he reminded me that I should call him for any help/questions no matter how big or small - 'that's what he's there for'. Service goes beyond the sale. He's a keeper! As for the rest of the staff I worked with directly: Carrie Petrili also worked hard to make sure I was no less than 100% happy with my purchase and the service; David Cooper in finance was great as well. I came into the dealership pre-approved, but Dyan and his team actually got me a much better rate, so I went with their financing.

I am not easily impressed with customer service (I've even been called "picky" by my own relatives!). As a former business owner myself, I demand nothing less than excellent customer service; however, I was impressed with their way of doing business, as it is the same as mine.

They say to get over one car you have to get in another... Well, my new 2013 Chevy Spark, and the wonderful team at Ray Chevrolet, are helping me to do just that! :-D

We had an amazing experience at Ray Chevrolet buying our 05 Chevy Tahoe last night. George Zakrzewski was amazing, very helpful, and made us feel welcome. We will be coming back in the future when we want to buy another vehicle and we will also be recommending George and Ray to our friends and family.

I have been using Ray Chevrolet's service since the mid 90s even though I had never bought a vehicle from them. Not once did I ever feel like they treated me any different than a customer who had always bought their vehicles from them and they have always done a great job. Well, because of that, I bought two used cars from them last year. My Diesel truck has had a few issues since I bought it and Liz Frohling in service has been great to me. She has got me in right away every time and has had a brand new Silverado for me to use while they are fixing my truck. Just a couple of weeks ago, one of the fuel injectors stuck wide open late at night so I had to get the truck towed to Ray's. When I got there at 7:00am without even calling ahead, Liz already had all my paperwork out and was waiting to see me. And there Diesel mechanic did a fantastic job getting my truck fixed.

Brian, in service, helped me during this visit and was extremely thorough with all question pertaining to my vehicle and offered all solutions. Good place to buy a car, i was upside down with my old car and tony jensen made it happen getting me a good deal with a low intrest rate. He was determined to get my family and i out the doors with a brand new car,stayed after hours with us until we we're done. Definetly recomend tony jensen to friends and family, looking foward to doing buisness with him again.
