I had a very good experience with Ray Chevy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Austin was my sales associate and one of the best that I have dealt with. I got a very good deal on my purchase.

Sean runions greeted us. He worked hard to get me a car I needed and did an amazing job.

Keith was a tremendous salesman. He worked extremely hard to provide me with the best services. He was always forthcoming and spot on with this explanations of the benefits and "numbers" game with me purchasing my new truck. He is a polite and a people-person. In fact, everyone I dealt with at the dealership was very polite and made my experience enjoyable. I would recommend anyone in the Fox Lake area or northern Illinois to buy their new Chevy from this dealer! And ask for Keith!

I recently bought a 2018 Chevy Spark from here and everyone involved in the process was amazing! Susan Weiss helped me out and she was so friendly and helped the buying process be a little less scary. She helped make sure that I walked out driving a brand new vehicle that would make me feel safer and save me money in the long run. The manager, I believe his name is Chris, was also AMAZING. He helped figure out the numbers to be something that would work for me. He, like Susan, was also very friendly and definitely not just trying to make a sale happen for them but was trying to help me out. I would reccrecom going there especially if you are looking for a new car. I was going in looking at a pre-owned because I didn't think I could afford a new vehicle but they helped make it happen! Soooo happy with my experience!

I bought 2 cars in 8 days from John Lesniak. Both cars are nice. I have 2 kids that drive and wanted safe reliable cars. I don't have to worry about them breaking down somewhere. The process was easy. Our salesman was super helpful and nice. I will be sending family and friends to John.

WOW...it seemed like we were in the "cockpit of an F-16"! The Tahoe is simply the most classy vehicle...surely, a "show stopper"! Ray answered our questions and happily explained many details we could have looked up in the manual. I've been searching for a good deal on a car for a while now and happened to see some really good prices while looking online. The first day, I was greeted by Paul McReynolds and I had an amazing experience with him while looking for cars within my budget. He was very nice and really listened to my needs to help me find the car within my budget that worked for me. I ended up getting a 2018 Chevy Trax and I absolutely love the car- absolutely no problems! The next day, I came back to sign all the paperwork and Tim Roberts was quick to help finish the process since Paul wasn't in at the time. Tim made the boring process much more fun and manageable, even despite some problems out of his control, I almost didn't mind waiting. I definitely recommend both Paul or Tim if anyone visits and wants a good experience! The overall atmosphere of the place was super friendly, and everyone involved in the process were amazing!

Good old bait and switch after emailing back and forth with a young lady there letting her know where I want to be and all the trade in info , was told yeah we should be able to make it work come on in . After a hour and a half ride to get there both salesman I was told to meet we're on vacation so of course someone else would gladly help me out . As you know where I'm going with this ,are you flexible on payments ? A 300 dollar difference than what was offered online. Bottom line is this dealer is no different just LIARS . This review is based on a very positive experience I had with Ray Chevy, my sales person was George Zakrzewski.

I had ordered a 2020 Chevy Trail Boss thru a different dealership back in November of 2019. A combination of back logged production following the UAW strike, Covid plant shutdowns, and total incompetence (I suspect they forgot to submit my order at the time of my order, as well as a few other screw ups and zero communication....my truck had still not arrived 8 months later!) led me to cancel my order and search area dealerships for a comparable vehicle....I came across a similar vehicle at Ray Chevy. To make a long story short, the truck on Ray Chevy s lot wasn t exactly what I wanted so I did not purchase that truck. The sales guy I talked to, George Zakrzewski, exhaustively searched for a comparable vehicle and ultimately was able to obtain an exact match through Chevy, contacted me right away, and I put a down payment on that vehicle prior to it being built. I also wanted some extras on the vehicle (both through GM as well as another business) and it was all effortlessly arranged. George and the staff at Ray Chevy kept in communication with me, and the level of customer service can only be described as phenomenal! When the vehicle arrived I was out of town for a couple weeks and Ray Chevy handled the custom extras so it would all be completed upon my return and when I took ownership of the truck....saving me a lot of time.
Not to mention the final price was significantly cheaper than the exact truck I had ordered through a different dealership!

Ray Chevy is not located close to my house but George and the staff at Ray Chevy were thorough, polite and professional, and more than willing to work with me in several respects.
It was really a positive experience and I would definitely buy a vehicle from Ray Chevy again!

This review is for the service department, Chris and Greg were very helpful and fast! Kept me up to date by phone with what was going on with my car! Did a great job road testing it, and checking out my concerns. They also went above and beyond and buffed a stain off the paint that I couldn t get out. I didn t even mention it to them, they just did it. First class all the way!

I came here looking for a truck, I knew what I wanted but they helped me more then I knew I needed. my sales consult was raymond scarpelli, he worked very well on a price and financing. also kyle Miller and randy Miller Eased my mind when it came down to mechanical stuff and even hooked me up with a free oil change.

We went to Ray just before they closed on a Saturday and Tony Jensen did not hesitate to show us a few different trucks. After driving a couple we decided to purchase a 2015 Silverado. Tony and the team stayed late to complete the paperwork and go over the vehicle with us.This was the third vehicle we have purchased from Ray and our sales and service experiences have always been great. Bought a warranty from Ray Chevrolet and was having trouble with coverage. Talked with their chat service and was told they would get back to me very soon that morning. I called back the next afternoon and talked with some finance guy who kept saying that he had he really could not help me because the warranty company was separate from Ray Chev. Still waiting on call from Ray Service Team. (one week so far)

I didn't have a pushy salesman at all. I told him what I wanted and he didn't try to upsell me... Well, maybe once. I just simply declined... Overall a good dealer that gives back to the community. Also has a decent service department, they're just busy all the time.

Had a great experience shopping for a truck at Ray Chevy. Worked with Ed. this guy knows his stuff.

The finance section was a mess. The dealer continue to sent credit inquiries (close to ten or so) even after we had the the vehicle for a week, these credit inquires lower the credit score (as you know every time there is one request) I value my credit score very much as I do real estate investment very often. If I knew that they were doing this mistake I would have find a diferente way to get the vehicle. I m still very upset of this situation. And that s the truth.

I recently bought a car from Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake. My sales rep was Greg Kloczkowski. I could not have asked for better sales rep! Most car salesmen are pushy which is really irritating. But Greg was the opposite! I could tell that he really wanted me to get a car that I liked and for a good price. He was very easy to work with and worked hard for me in reaching a deal that I could afford. Even after buying the car, I had a couple questions that Greg helped me with right away! I got the car I've been wanting for a while now thanks to Greg. I had a great overall experience with everybody at Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake, and will be purchasing my future cars there as well.

Today was a Great Day!!!!! We were greeted by Oliver at the front desk who paged a sales consultant to the front for assistance. I have purchased 3 cars through Ray Chevrolet. This included 3 different sales individuals. Not bad experiences but never anything I felt worth reviewing. I went in for my fourth purchase and while we could not agree on terms with finance, the sales man Tim Roberts was an absolute pleasure to work with. Kind , honest and incredibly genuine. I have worked with many people at the dealership, while most were nice Tim is they only one that has left such a large impact on us. If you are looking for a car and dont want a shmoozer, ask for Tim!!!

Able to make an actual appointment, a HUGE plus, especially when you have kids! Even gave me a coupon when I didn't have one which was nice. Shout out to the cashier that took my son to the vending machine and bought him something cuz he was bored LOL thank you. I'll be back here over the other ones in the area.

Dan was a great salesman and very helpful in finding me the best car and the best deal. Your tech department was great in showing me the capabilities of my car and its features. My apprehension in giving 5 stars was the issues we had with the finance department regarding the final pricing. The information given to me in regards to trade in, monthly payments and down payment was different from what the GM gave. It was later resolved, but did cause stress to an already stressful situation of buying a car.

George Zakrzewski is a G.O.A.T. Easy to work with got us in and out and didn t beat around the bush. Amazing guy 100% would recommend!
