Me and husband stayed for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpful, when we got to our room my husband had arranged for a bottle of wine to be on ice and a massive bouquet of flowers so thank you to the staff for helping with such a lovely surprise. The room was amazing, the bed was huge and very comfortable, everything was very clean and it was quiet. We got spa passes which I'm really glad we did it was beautiful and very relaxing. We went to the carvery which was nice and would love to try one of the restaurants next time. The breakfast was also very good with lots to chose from. Already planning our next stay.

The service is top notch. Very friendly and helpful. They are willing to help you with your needs. The Thai restaurant makes a wonderful Thai red curry and Singapore vermicelli. The 16oz T bone steak I had on the second night was devine as well as the 10oz burger. The gym is amazing. It is modern with interactive technology that helps you decide which exercises you want to do to work on a muscle group and you can always watch some tellie whilst you run. The swimming pool is great. A good length and the hot tub and whirlpool is wonderful too. The hotel is run really well and I can't wait to come back again

Easy to get to by car from the A1. Beautiful setting and building. Brand new spa, which is outstanding in every capacity (facilities and treatments alike). We stayed in one of the new build rooms and the room size was brilliant, huge bed and bathroom with both walk in shower and freestanding bath with tons of floorspace. Beautiful. Only downside was we chose to eat at the carvery on a Friday night. There were a couple of parties in but not rowdy. The room itself sounded kind of like a canteen because of the carvery and glass roofs - not much to deaden the sound. Beautiful piano being played while a male and female singer performed. The performers weren't up to much and the bar staff looked particularly bored with this - they told us it's the exact same music every Friday and Sunday. We're musicians ourselves and could barely manage to listen to half the set then left. Incredibly drab considering it's billed as "entertainment". Breakfast is probably the second best I've ever attended at a hotel. Very impressive. Everything is beautifully cooked/prepared and the range of breakfast items is unrivalled! Besides that, the whole experience at Ramside Hall was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Room was beautiful no faults at all but a few things I really wasnt happy with first of all the hotel was informed months in advance I was diabetic and asked if there could be a fridge put in the room for me to store my insulin injections we were told they dont have fridges in the room wich was fine but on arrival there was a fridge but wasnt switched on so I didnt need to leave them at reception after all wich was abit of a pain anyway the biggest problem I had was me and my partner went down for our evening meal payed for our drinks and starter with cash then I felt I'll so had to cancel our mains so I went to my room to get my sugar levels back to normal to only be greeted woth a knock at the door by the man in charge of the restaurant that night he said we cant cancel your main you have to pay for that I was disgusted but anyway we payed the next morning we complained about it and the area manager apologised and said he has refunded the 65 pound back to my card 1 week later still no refund so we rang up and asked why we havnt received it to be then told they need proof of paying for starter and drinks wich is fine again but why lie and say it has already been refunded when it hasnt I dont appreciate been lied to especially as we use this hotel regularly but this is the last time I stay here not happy at all I cant help been diabetic and it was out of my control why I had to cancel my main very disappointed I hope u treat your other guests abit better than u did us

Spa was great and value wasn't too bad but we went for the restaurant and spa offer especially as on the website a Bento Box is included and when we got their they said it wasn't but to "help us out" they would get us one but would mean no starter.

Disappointing experience. The room was cold. The meat at the carvery was very un inviting. It was dried out and looked as if it had been sitting there all day. The tables and seats were dirty. The caverydinning room was very tired. In need of a refurb. The spa area was totally disorganised. We were allocated a 2 hr slot after it was advertised as full use of the facilities as a paying guest. No guidance on the sun bed usage having a embarrassing experience of taking somebodies else s bed. It was our first and unfortunately last stay ... very disappointed

Food was good at the Motown Xmas night. The Motown Band were very poor. They changed the melody of the songs to suit their off key High pitched voices. Tables set out like 'Hogwarts' not to my liking. Round tables when there is a group makes it easier to converse. Long tables split the group up and you are also with complete strangers. Not the best night I've had there. Now your ladies day that's another story. Fantastic

Friendly staff, great food, great facilities. We were made to feel comfortable and welcome. The gym is well equipped, the outdoor pool was hot and amazing. Would recommend the spa to anyone and will be coming back again.

Spa and room amazing.. Are in Rib Room and never tasted food like it.. was just simply the best.. service was brilliant.. only thing u wasn't happy about was reception we arrived early and were told out room wasn't ready, so decided to go to the bar for a drink while we waited. Went back to reception to be told room dtokl wasn't ready so again waiting around reception area, bit of nightmare as no where to really sit. Then at 3pm we were asked by one of the concierge guys if we needed a hand with anything only to be told by him that our room was actually ready Nd had been for a while yet reception had not bothered to tell us. This was really the only thing i wasn't happy about.

Was here for the Beatles experience night. Had a really good night. The food served was nice, the service was great, the event room was decorated nice and the Beatles were very good. The only thing that would have improved the night would have been for the band to stay on longer, 1 hour and 20 minutes wasn t enough. Will definitely be returning for a future event. Thank you Ramside Hall.

The Premier room was very big and comfortable. The fusion bar man Adam was lovely and went out of his way to bring our drinks to the Rooftop pool. The Rib Room meal was spectacular and the staff were professional - couldn't fault this meal. One of the best meals I've ever had (chateaubriand). The 45 minute ESPA massages each that I booked turned out to be about 25 and 35 minutes. The spa manager offered us a soft drink as an apology, which didn't seem enough given the cost of the massages and the fact it was for my partners birthday. I asked for a birthday message in the room which never materialised but managed to get the restaurant staff to add a candle to dessert instead. The spa was clean and very relaxing - wasn't too overcrowded either. The sauna and steam rooms weren't operating due to COVID. Lovely weekend away!

Room was excellent, however on the phone when booking (the website was down) I asked for spa access and they said that was included in the price of the room. I asked what upgrades I could go for and they just encouraged me to buy a premium room which I did. When we got to the hotel we were told we didn't buy spa access, and now couldn't as it was fully booked. My advice is don't phone reception, just use the website and hope you find the deal section as it is an otherwise good hotel.

Went for Business event, Staff and service was great, event was well done. Only let down was the food, starter was brilliant no complaints. Main course I found was very greasy as did others with me. Desert was not to my personal liking but there was no alternative.

We stayed here for the bill oddy annual fan club meeting. Rooms were ok but no real strong anchor points around beds .unfortunately Bill oddy was late and only arrived on our second day ,but he did bring kendal mintcake aa an apology. Sadly due to health and safety rules of the hotel we were not allowed to eat the mintcake wearing our bill oddy costumes None the less we had a pleasant stay .

My wife, next door neighbour and myself used to go here for Sunday lunch, frequently, but since its recent shaming over staff wages, we have noticed that the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly, most of the time the food was cold, the beef was all but raw, hence we do not visit, anymore, there is no value for money,

Great facilities and rooms. Rooms a large, clean and comfortable. Spa facilities are available free of charge if you're staying at the hotel. Ideal if you like golf, there's a golf course. Staff are helpful and friendly.
