Rampart Properties Review

Don't know if it's the manager, the workers, or the company itself.They leave a paper taped to your door saying they're going to inspect your unit to see what repairs need to be done,
then the next day they only come to take pictures and don't give you an approximate date they'll work on it.

They also have 1 year and 4 months working on the gas pipeline and the gaps are still open. One gap is located outside where tenants have to pass through every day, and the rest of the gaps are in some units where people don't want to complain or else the manager will be harassing them.

Also, as shown on my pictures there is mold on the bathroom ceiling. The mold is only above my bathtub which comes from the floor above me. The workers don't check if there's a water leakage on the water pipelines or on the tub, they just remove the rotten drywall, put a new drywall, put plaster on the drywall, and paint over it.

The most unprofessional property management I have ever seen. Their staff are very kind and responsive when you are in the renting process but when you are a tenant they are not responsive for your any concern. The only person who does her job perfectly was Norma in this company. Other than her, you never find a person listen to you when you have a concern after you rent the house. The worst thing they are very demanding when tenants need to pay rents, fees, or security deposits on time. However they are very very careless when you need to get your security deposit back. Although their manager checked our apartment before moving out and said that everything seems okay, we need to call several times their office for getting our security deposit back. At the end, we get our security deposit back after almost 2 months by calling several times their office and write several emails to them. Please keep yourself away from Rampart property Management if you are thinking about renting an apartment in Los Angeles area.

Please don t sign a lease with them. They re the absolute worst people from the maintenance staff to the property managers (KJ) all the way up to the president Frank. They seem nice at first but once you sign the lease you couldn t be more worthless in their eyes.
They treat their residents like trash to get them to move out early so they can raise the rent price next year. Plus they give their employees special access to their residences at reduced cost and then allow them to run the place, extremely loud music, pounding, dancing, and if you complain they won t do anything because it s their employee.
Signing with them as been the biggest regret of mine coming to LA.

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Rampart as a window covering vendor (Stanley Shade). They are punctual and organized every time we have an appointment scheduled. I can always count on Yasmyn or James to get back to me in a timely manor and make my life easier. Every unit that we have done work in has been completely remodeled and every employee is held to the highest standards. I would highly recommend Rampart to anyone in the market for a new living situation.

Stay far away from this corrupt establishment. I worked with the president of the company, Frank, on a move to a one bedroom apartment. Despite following the typical procedures and polices (including signing the lease, paying the security deposit and the first month s rent) l was informed on my MOVE IN day that the lease was cancelled due to the property owner wanting to rent to another tenant offering to pay more. Frank explained that there was nothing I could do because the owners of the property didn t sign the lease although I was told otherwise.

These people are unorganized, rude, and entirely unprofessional. Save yourself a giant headache and money and stay away from Rampart Properties.

Very unprofessional, I had Erin a property manager with Rampart properties reach out to me to set an appointment to view a property and when I showed up to view the property Erin was a no show. I called Rampart properties to speak with Erin and the person on the phone told me that the unit was already rented. Not only did they waste my time, gas and energy they did not even have the courtesy to reach out to me and let me know the updated information on that unit. This company needs to train their better in basic management etiquette.

Moved-in and they made everything very easy and less stressful. Was quick to respond and help with any questions or needs we had. Managers and company seemed to care a lot for its tenants, property cleanliness and maintenance. Very supportive over any concerns and helped maintain a good relationship. Thank you!

Extremely unprofessional company with zero concern for their renters. I moved in with a broken oven, leaking refrigerator and the most disgusting washer I ve ever seen. After two months of several dead end phone calls, unanswered emails and running in circles, nothing has been fixed. Yet, they have the time and money to fix up a different unit with no tenants living in it....they clearly just don t care.

Avoid this company and save yourself the time and energy.

It has been a joy for us to work with our Rampart team and live at one of their more recent properties in Long Beach. Very responsive staff, great quality of service and the fit and finish of the property is fantastic. Great neighbors, great location, but our team have been exceptionally supportive and responsive. Wonderful experience!
