Disappointing service on the telephone, I called to book two rooms and had to repeat my request multiple times, bearing in mind I called - room reservations the person that answered was not helpful whatsoever, in the end I gave up and said I would book it online as it was cheaper. After reading the reviews, I wont be booking online, I will go elsewhere...!

Stayed a night before going to Gatwick. Great location and the travel to Gatwick was easy.

My wife and I had planned to stay at the Hilton hotel but unfortunately they were refurbishing the pool and spa area,we usually stay at Hilton hotels.Our two nights stay at the Sandman was fantastic ,the room was clean and spacious.service manager Mr Svedac was very attentive and helpfully whenever we meet in the lobby.
Can't wait to visit again.

Steam room not working the main reason I booked this hotel so not impressed. Also problems with the lift. Swimming pool was dirty with very high level of chlorine. The room was nice and clean
However I could have got that elsewhere probably for cheaper.

Rooms are very nice,Very good location 2 minutes walk to Tesco shopping centre and 8 minutes walk to three bridges train station.car park available.

Had a really nice room here. Nice bathroom, and a clean room. Comfortable bed, slept very well. Love the interieur downstairs where the reception is and in the room we booked. Room service was fantastic. Ordered pizza peperoni and it was the best pizza peperoni I had in my life! Friendly people and no noises. There was also a microwave, water cook and fridge. 5 stars!!!

Lovely hotel, clean and friendly. Two things though, more signage showing reception from room and it was a bit hot for me with no windows to open otherwise will come back

Brilliant stay and felt safe leaving our car for the week. The team on the front desk, bar and in the restaurant were all lovely. The room was brilliant. The bunk beds were perfect for our kids although they were so big an adult could have easily had a good night's sleep. Will definitely be booking here again for our next trip out of Gatwick.

Lovely hotel. The only downside was the noise sounded like heating.

Only went in for drink and something to eat but staff was very welcoming and amazing very friendly.

I really wanted to leave higher marks. It s easy to get to, good amenities, courteous staff, clean and well lit. Sadly the elevator was broken, obviusly for a long time, so you re expected to truck your luggage around all up and down. Note to Mgr....spend the money and get it fixed cheapskate!

Nice rooms, food service can be slow but is decent when arrives. Gym is a bit cramped

I stay at this hotel alot through work. Rooms are fantastic with all the amenities that you would need even down to the microwave and fridge. There is a good choice of food and the breakfast is adequate. The only criticism i would have is the coffee at breakfast can be the instant type served in a cafetiere or the fresh type which is very week and tasteless. The elevators are temperamental and Often break down.

Attended the hotel for a recruitment day. The staff assisting us were professional and delivered a great service, which ensured the day ran smoothly.

Very quiet rooms. Common areas a bit too simple. At the restaurant the best is to take a Chinese dish. Breakfast could improved. Especially the coffee machine. Staff a little stressed.

Easy access to this well appointed and recently refitted hotel close to airport and mainline train. Dining and bar A1. Friendly and efficient service. Perfect for business or pre/post flight plus a great sports bar!

One lift out of two working. No social distancing or mask wearing enforced or encouraged. Lovely room but couldn't wait to leave!

We stayed here overnight before a flight from Gatwick South. The hotel is easy to find. Service was very good and staff seemed keen to ensure we had a good stay. Rooms were large, very well equipped (including a microwave!) and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool is a bit small but great to have available. Overall amazing value for money and highly recommended. The only slight thing was the air conditioning didn't work very well.

The way has been decorated,is marvellous lamps,the opulent furniture,, ,,,the hall is a brilliant way of designing and gives you an idea of how beautiful this hotel

Very clean and tidy, lots of space, decent bed, wide corridors, simple check in. No particular wow but absolutely no complaints.

Very good once again. We have been at this hotel a few times and it is one of our favourites when flying from Gatwick. Very nice staff and rooms are great. Some work being done at the moment at the bar/restaurant and so the reception area looks a bit like a building site. Not the first time we stayed here with work being done what shows they are trying to get the hotel to a great standard. We will hopefully be staying here again.

Very nice hotel with great transfer facility. The only let down was the restaurant...my lasagne was dry and tasted awful so much so I couldn't eat it. My friends meal was also inedible. However when we were asked about the meal and gave feedback we were then greeted by the manager who was very apologetic and could see the meal looked bad. She then took these meals off the overall bill. Great customer service!

Very conveniently located for early flights from Gatwick. Hotel looks a little dated from the outside but inside is very contemporary and modern. Food in bar was excellent, staff super attentive and hotel has good linkup with local taxi firm for airport runs. One criticism is the parking which can get extremely busy. We were lucky that one space was left when we arrived but cars were parked all over the place. Room (signature king) was really great value and very comfortable.

Room air conditioning wasn't working so very hard to get to sleep. Also duvet was really thick which made it even hotter. Wouldn't stay again

Very well placed hotel that's just minutes away from Gatwick airport. Quite surprised how nice it was inside compare to how it looks outside, never tell a book by its cover.

Such good value for hotel stay with airport parking. Spacious, modern, well-maintained rooms. Would definitely return and recommend.
