It is a lovely resort with excellent service and good food. The breakfast spread is good and offers good choices. The pool is wonderful and offers depth for every age group. It is located on a private beach stretch with wonderful shack and also facilities for guests just next to the beach. The pricing is reeasonable and even if one opts for inroom dining it is quite reasonably priced with suffucient portion serving for 2 persons. The tooms are well maintained and clean. Efficient service was provided by the staff in room service as well as buffets.A special mention for Ms.Monika at the breakfast buffet for taking care of our daughters needs. A resort well worth staying in Goa!

Awesome place for a family trip. We were a group of 20 people and we had a galaxy time. The staff is courteous and the food was good. The property has big gardens mini golf course and a clean beach.
Stayed for five nights from 17 Oct to 22 Oct 2020. It was our third visit to the resort and that pretty much says it all. We booked for three nights initially for three pax but reached a day earlier. The resort had opened certain sections of the property and they had sanitized those sections properly. They upgraded us to a better room..a big thanks to Mr Manoj for that. Ms Tanvi from PR team was very warm and attentive. We were also given a special cake that said welcome back which we enjoyed through out our stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find their bfst spread as elaborate as ever and limited occupancy had not affected it at all which is praiseworthy. Many of the guests were staying there for a week atleast. The youngest kid on the campus was just 3 months old and the eldest was probably 65 years . Most of the families were staying with very young children. The beach almost felt like private though it's shared by some 6-7 resorts and it stretches for kilometers and still feels personal. The beach is exceptionally clean bcz of Covid as not many tourists there. A few points though....airtel doesn't have coverage inside the resort so carry some other data provider sim. Most of the eating joints outside are closed. Overall we are super happy with the hospitality and the way they have kept the resort all clean and sanitized. More sections are being opened as we speak and I think this resort had the most occupancy bcz of the safety measures and the expanse of outdoor space available. A special thanks to Mr Manoj and Ms Tanvi for that extra care that made our stay so memorable. And yes they packed bfst for our 12+ hours car travel which lasted us the whole journey. Need I say more.
Loved the three night, four day stay. We were family of 10, with special needs. An excellent property for family vacation.
The resort property is excellent, well kept and in front of pristine beach. The staff is amazingly helpful and thoughtful. The property is well kept with lush lawns and beautiful landscape.
The property has an easy 5 min stroller/wheelchair friendly walk to beach, the property also offers buggy ride.
The restaurant staff is top notch, taking care of my parents with special dietary requirements.
Leo the restaurant manager and Dev chouhan the table in charge went beyond their call of duty and checking with us for our comfort.
Along with Leo and Dev, the entire staff were top notch in their hospitality.
We had pleasant experience with wonderful memories with family. Looking forward to our next vacation to caravela beach resort.
One reason, people visit Goa is to enjoy sea breeze, sea view, water sports, delicious foods, peaceful environment, at least away from the cacophony of city, relaxed environment and beautiful sunset, then you should plan to be in South Goa. If you do some basic calculations of expenses, than you might find staying in a resort is a better preposition.
The beach are generally managed by the resort, so you get access to a kind of private beach, where you will NOT find crowd, in fact, this is a place, where you would find the tranquility that perhaps you were longing for. Except the occupants of the resort, you may not find any one . This gives you assurance that you can sun bath with what ever clothes you are comfortable in, without getting oogled and disturbed. This also gives you assurance that the beach will not have litters and the view that you actually wanted is guaranteed. You are also going to see water sports activities, ordered by a govt approved agency. Since such resorts generally have occupants who can afford to avail these services, the agency , in its own interest, make sure to camp by the sea, to provide the water sports.
Now some mathematics of money, if you stay some where at run of the mill kind of hotel, say Rs 2000 per night, then you are going to be living again in the cacophony. If you are a taste fulfil person, then you might hire a cab and come to spend time on this kind of beach, then you spend around Rs 2000 on the rentals, now after you get wet in the ocean, and then go back to your hotel, through the cab, you are going to mistreat your entire body and it would have sea salt stuck all over the body, and immediately after the water dries up, which it will in a few minutes, the saltiness will start pinching the skin. You didn't the time in cab travel to save money, but holistically, you end up spending more.
Enjoy Goa, it is beautiful place, respect locals , they are very hospitable and don't litter... Make sure you leave the place as nice as you found it to be.
Resort is Awesome... It has activities and games to keep u busy... Refreshing place with beautiful beach at its end. Only buffet service was not good... You need to wait for long if some item is finished... U might not get it either...
I had visited the resort during the New Year party, and oh, was I taken aback by this hidden gem. The food was amazing, the staff - ever ready to assist, the pool was clean and entire resort was very beautifully decorated. Definately a New Year to remember. Having worked in a resort myself, I can definitely say this resort wouldn't disappoint.
I am giving them 3 stars... The reasons are in light of their 5-star status.
Scenario :: Advance payment done a month in advance for family, including a senior citizen for additional bed in their ocean view room.
Reasons for 3 stars :: (1) The request for additional bed in ocean view room was addressed after 10 reminders.
(2) Instead of additional bed for a senior citizen, a mattress was given at around 12 mid-night after 10 reminders, with a statement that we have to manage with the same mattress [Note: The charge for additional bed was already taken a month back]... Hence, lack of resource availability and insensitive rude behavior towards senior citizen.
(3) While check-out, the staff had no clue that the payment was made in advance... They also had no clue that airport transfer was in the package... [This is lack of training / mentor-ship and poorly organized information system]
(4) Crows and insects still persist near dining and take advantage whenever they get an opportunity.
(5) Quantity of food in Ala Carte, is very less vis-a-vis price.
Possible Impact :: Earlier the resort was known as Ramada Beach Resort, however it seems that they pulled-out their franchise due to sub-standard facilities / operations for guests, hence it is now known as Caravela Beach Resort... They need to get much better to maintain a 5 star status.
We were happy to spend lovely time in Caravela beach resort. The view from the room is fantastic. The private beach is lovely and calm. Food, ambience is upto the mark. Staffs were very polite and helpfull. Special thanks to Tanvi who assisted very politely with all the things. Overall it was a great stay and experience.
Facility of resorts, beach is good but food quality and taste is zero.I taken buffet dinner and breakfast but I couldn't eat a single items, even chefs made 3 extra vegetables for me but failed,I slept hungry.shame on 5 star hotel,i came to know later that Ramada also cancelled his brand name with this property,I didn't know about it before my stay at hotel otherwise my God trip would not have spoiled like this. But Rate of taxi is genuine at hotel.
We had a wonderful experience at this beach resort. The resort is situated in South Goa and we stayed in the month of October. For those wanting good food, peace and calm, this is a wonderful destination. Recommended for couples and family members.
Positives:- Good Food, huge resort and private beach. Negatives:- Management - Forgot to give a wake up call to us for the early morning flight Forgot to book a cab to the airport even after reminding 5 times the night before They gave really bad breakfast to go in the morning. All the good feel for 4 days was destroyed on the last day. Needs real improvement on this aspect.
Fantastic place to just sit and relax.. Beach is at walking distance hence you can fully enjoy with family w/o worrying about crowd. The best part is the food.
Excellent property, clean beach, brilliant hospitality, stunning pool with bar, yummalious bfast/dinner buffets with a lot of veg variety, relaxing beach shack, beautiful sea facing room, we enjoyed every moment and all the services(buggy, quick call revert and flexibility). Really relished the special onion kulcha by Rajender (Rajesh), loved the courtesy by Leo, the head Chef and the team for a customised breakfast pack for an early morning flight (Idli, vada, chutney, danishes, croissants, fruits etc) Suggestion- plan the beach buffet on days beyond Tuesday for us to enjoy sea food and add Appam and stew in the menu.
It is an excellent resort, neat, clean and well maintained. It has ample of space to walk around. It has direct access to the beach, also the beach is very neat. The food is amazing and there is a lot of variety. The rooms too are nice and clean. Overall the resort is great and a must visit place.
Now this is a place of paradise.... Beautifully spread resort is a must for your fancy goa trip. Quiet, serene and peaceful South Goa cannot be missed without spreading out on the personal beach of this resort. The nights calls for long walk on the shore only in moonlight!
Probably one of the best properties in South Goa. It is a 5 star luxury resort with great in-house amenities. The pool and beach are fabulous, clean, well maintained and with a good amount of white sand. Their golf-course, although small, is very usable. I was lucky enough to have a week long beach wedding here, with 250 guests flying in from different parts of the world. They were able to meet my guest requirements, without any effort. Their service was impeccable, their food and hospitality were best in class. The staff is friendly, attentive and very fast at organizing changes in events. I would highly recommend their wedding planner Ms. Dawn Hudson (of the Yuvraj wedding fame). Great woman to work with, has a very positive attitude and can make all your wedding dreams come true. Their pricing is also competitive and great value for the service they provide, would recommend booking 8-10 months in advance. I would 100% recommend the Caravela Beach Resort for a romantic wedding or a fun family vacation. Cheers!
