The staff is really friendly . Rooms are little smaller.

The ambience is great you can experience Goan architecture. So even if you checkin late night.. You will not miss the Goan feel. Very susegad

Very good service from this place. Perfectly blends with the serene haven that is Goa. Early morning walks on the beach, dips in the pool, great food as well. Very friendly staff too.

Decent property with a very good beach and a lot of open space. They serve really good food in their restaurant. Rooms are decent though the quality of toiletries can be improved

Management apporch is more commercial than to have satisfaction oriented...
When i asked about a small cup of milk...for my little kid..they asked me to order it through...room service...

Even at pool they refused to gave balls. N asked us pay for that..

Its our 1st day .. dinning experience n quality of the food is also not upto 5 star category resort... Dinning staff is cooperative n humble...

Bathroom is ok... That doesn't have shower panel with glass partition...only same old bathtub is there...

We have heared good reviews abt the resort n booked 5 rooms for 3 days but On the 1st day..our experience wasn't that good...let c how next 2 days goes...

Wonderful private beach, sprawling green golf course, sparklingly clean pool. Yummy food, a perfect place to relax and unwind. Recommended.

Pros:
- If you're a family, it's a nice place for the kids to run around and have a peaceful time as it's huge property
- Cleanly maintained
- Good buffet spread
- Beach is accessible
- Two wheeler and Car rentals are available right outside the property
- They offered complementary snacks and fruits and the room dine-in service is good
- Some activities/classes are conducted for the kids by the resort
- Property is good for organizing Weddings, Parties etc.,

Cons:
- Check-in process!! We were given welcome drink and asked to wait. We waited for more than an hour for someone to call us for the Check-in. When we went to the reception after a frustrated wait, we realised this wait was unnecessary.
- Rooms are not very posh, they are average for the money you pay. But they've been maintained very clean. - Bathtub is basic, view from balcony is average
- Evenings are welcomed by screeching crows, causing a headache till the night. Better to be away from the room during this time.
- The property could be rented out for weddings and other functions, this takes away the peace from other guests.
- Dining area (For breakfast) is same for people attending the functions and other guests. You can't have breakfast in peace.
- Lot of activities like beach cricket, volleyball was no where to be found,
- 'Outdoor' badminton and Table Tennis board is placed in some corner - Really?
- Mobile data is better than Hotel's WiFi

Nice beach resort with a private beach. Neat and clean room. Good food.

It is a awesome place I ever had in my life, And the beach in front of the hotel is like a beauty of nature surrounded all over the hotel it is a most beautiful 5 star hotel

Up side
1. Nicely made resort in a nice location in south Goa on Varca beach.
2. Very clean and peaceful environment. Mostly preferred by foreigners.
3. Staff is very supportive, courteous, helpful and efficient
4. Own private beach - less crowded - free environment
5. 9 hole golf course - lot of greenery around

Downside
1. If u r a vegetarian then be ready to eat mostly South Indian breakfast during ur stay
2. Washroom doesn t give feel of 5 star
3. Slightly overpriced
4. Complimentary things also required to b asked for and not provided on arrival
5. Check in procedure will take around an hour
6. More preferred and better service to foreigners

Any one of you have read or heard about central jail . You may get a live experience here . Stay away from this dirty place . Very unprofessional staff . Service is a joke for them

A resort becomes the last resort of my Goa trip. A wonderful Goaian living experience with excellent hospitality. If you are plannin to visit South Goa, This Caravela resort property has everything to amaze you with bundles of services and luxury accommodation. A peaceful place making your leisure time more pleasant. I would suggest travellers to be in the Caravela Beach Resort.

From the entrance onwards thy hav a pleasant lady called Mabel whose smiling personality makes u feel welcome A special mention about chef Puri who makes it worth the effort to travel to goa and to this beautiful property The food is amazing the buffet spread is just amazing He puts his personal touch to everything and that makes one keep going back to caravella

Awesome resort with private beach. Suggest anyone to book for the beach facing Villa. Friendliest staff I have ever seen. Staff is very aware about small kids and always ensure they pay attention to any young one walking around by themselves.

Great place to stay for groups or couples. We booked a weekend for a college get together and had a fantastic holiday.

We ventured to Caravela in October filled with uncertainties due to COVID-19, but when we reached Caravela, we found it safe and comforting. The lobby was well ventilated and sanitization was taken care of well. The front desk staff was cooperative and check-in was hassle-free. Room size was sufficient for 3 adults. The garden view room had a beautiful view, and a glimpse of beach was also seen. Caravela beach is extremely beautiful and serene. Housekeeping staff was punctual and helpful. The staff wore masks at all times and at all places with utmost responsibility. Our room had clean bed linens, and the extra bed was changed everyday.

If you are a foodie and truly love all kind of cuisines, Caravela is a place you must surely visit! the Sous Chef Birendra Singh made all possible efforts to serve us with "delicious" food. He personally took care of our meals. We stayed for 6 days and tasted all possible cuisines with the help of Chef BIrendra. He was ready to serve us any kind of dish which was not mentioned in the menu. We being vegetarian, did not face any problem, rather we enjoyed all sorts of food to the fullest. When it comes to Indian food, the THALI IS A MUST HAVE! One of the best Indian cuisine i have ever tasted, and Birendra made it even more memorable by customizing it. Benny also made our experience memorable by serving us with utmost dedication.

The guest relation executive, Tanvi took care of us very well. She provided us with all the information about the activities and operations of the resort and ensured that we had a memorable time at Caravela.

The Activity Incharge, Yaduveer taught us to make Sand castles which we couldn't learn even through YouTube. He was very courteous, and helped us in making beautiful sand arts.

Pool was closed. Beach side restaurant was not operational, but opened on our last day in the hotel. The property is very huge, well maintained and spread out so social distancing isn't a problem in there. If you are a runner, you can easily complete a long distance run at the coastline. Yoga at sunset point is something that shouldn't be missed.

One of the best holidays in Goa @ Caravela. Special Thanks to Chef Birendra for making it unforgettable. Thank You! I would highly recommend this to all of you, and love to visit it again!

Nice variety of Food , Relaxing atmosphere, very classic experience

From the Duty Manager Ms. Mabel to the chefs, housekeeping crew, pool staff, drivers and hostesses every single person seems to be focused on the customer and ensuring a good time is had. Their choices for the buffet and quality were excellent! Only downside is that it is far away from the sights in Goa and taxis from the hotel are expensive. But if you're looking to relax in the resort, this is THE BEST option. Even better than the Leela Goa!

A wonderful resort in Goa, India, on one of the most beautiful sand beaches in the world. Enjoy excellent breakfast services especially for those who love Indian cuisine. Enjoy all the meals. The buffet is varied and delicious.

Good place to hangout with family and group of friends

Superb Stay, a proper 5 star hotel; however the food is quite expensive they will charge u 5000 for 4 people for lunch and the same for dinner and also the quantity is less compared to nearby hotels and restaurants. But for the record it was a fantastic stay!

It is the perfect holiday getaway. The courteous staff and fun activities make it a holiday to remember. As a bonus, we kept getting lots of upgrades and complimentary goodies that made us feel special.

Well, to be honest this place got my heart!!I just loved this place:-
Staff : they are so polite be it during check-in and check-out thanks to Eden as she was there to help us doing this smoothly for us!!
Dining: had breakfast, lunch and dinner and everyday their menu changes like every new day there is a new dish waiting for us to try. A big shoutout to Riya & Tanvi for making my wife s birthday a memorable one. And yes not to forget the guy who plays the band during dinner time Riya informed him to play a birthday song for my wife.
Cleanliness: a big shoutout to Umesh for keeping our room clean on daily basis. And providing us with basic necessities.
Also the hotel management were up to date regarding sanitising each every area.
Booked two rooms which was Ocean View Room and Garden View Room!! Both of them was FANTASTIC!!
The resort itself has so many activities in the beach like JetSki, Parasailing, Banana Ride, beach side Hookah and last cycling.
Worth staying in this Resort!!
For sure this was my best memorable trip.

Not upto the mark. I could not get as basic as 'cup of filter coffee' :( ,, they had instant coffee and stuff but being a south Indian it was disappointing for me. Amenities not worth the price we pay.

Excellent helpful staff each and every staff was helpful cheerful anf soft spoken specially the staff at buffet area. The resort have its own private beach and water sports are too availble here.cleanliness is cared and a good ambience is maintained.The quality and varitey of food deserves a 10/10.My experience here was wonderful. Activities for kids massage yoga are also available. You too have a huge golf course and.Just thei is a one problem of crows which the management is taking care of.

The room service was not great, the food was pretty delicious but could be better. The most annoying thing was waiting time for room alottment. Got room at 3.30 pm , waited for 3 and a half hour. Service is awesome. Amazing resort and clean beach. Availability of showers and watersports also good enough.

Best place to stay with family

Comfortable rooms, prompt service, food is Ok, I would suggest though that you hire a car/bike from the airport itself before coming here since its a pretty secluded place and every taxi charges a bomb from the hotel and they don't allow hired taxi from other companies to come to you. It's quite atmosphere so people who are coming to Goa just to relax in peace this would be a really good place for you. The pool is beautiful but unfortunately they don't allow to be in the pool after 8pm.
