Like to visit again

Right at the beach. Food is just about ok. Service is great . Too crowded

Evrytging is good ..but their security guard said that ... indians are not allowed on beach ...
I ask you why ??????

The management and service of the Hotel is very pathetic , recently we visited in diwali vacation had a very bad experiance with their managements. even its not like road side hotel they even cant reach their commitments . so fully not recommended

One of the best resort in South Goa. We had spent almost 3 nights 4 days here and enjoyed a lot. This resort has private beach and ample space for kids to play. Even lot of activities for kids throughout the day. Food quality is really awesome and lot of option.

Quite a small beach shack but still able to serve great food and drinks

Lovely place to be at. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Private beach is fabulous. Must stay at this place if you are in goa.

Not the worst hotel. Territory large, wide beach line, warm sea! The rooms require redecoration, plumbing updates! The breakfasts are good! We dined at the excursions, well, we dined traditionally, in NIS! All is well, no problems with the assimilation of food! And, yes, ice cream is just wonderful at Sunset Shek! Recommend!

Not even close 5* , hotel 3 star even better then this one, everything is old, smell is awful, wifi only for one person by room another one has to pay, this is ridiculous

Hi , I am planning to visit your hotel on 14/05/2014 . I have booked ocean view room , my friend insisted Taj Exotica but i selected Ramada , hope the quality of food and stay will be luxurious and comfortable, Thank You

It's difficult to get Taxi from here and they will charge like any thing if u will book from the hotel vendor...

Beautiful location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only issues I had was with other guests who were mainly a bunch of bloated alcoholics trying to act bougie.

Property was decent, expected the room and bathroom to be bigger which was not and was a disappointment for us. The food was good and i would rate it 8/10. Pool and the pool bar was awesome, especially tthe bartenders (Jotan and Joyfrey) they made awesome cocktails, must try if ur visiting, I would rate it 10/10. Overall my experience at caravela was 7/10.

Very nice and beautiful place with pleasant staff. Food is good, rooms are spacious and views are really nice. Pool is good and major attraction for kids and the feeling is that you don t want to leave the place ghar nahi jana hai . I loved it and I am sure you will love it too. Beautiful property.

Loved the stay here. It's a private beach property. The pool is super, the food is great and beach is clean and safe. Lots of activities to keep you busy in the resort itself.

Loving it a really lovely feeling as soon as you get there right from the lobby to lawns to beach lawns and the rooms are just amazing

It's a huge and beautiful property but lacks the emotions in service which you feel every now and then. Rooms are average. Food is also average though the buffet is lavish. Service of housekeeping and Buffet staff is commendable though.

Wonderful resort to stay for a few days and unwind with family. Swimming pool has very stupid rules regarding ladies costumes. Another concern is that the resort asks you for a refundable deposit on check-in. None of the above points are mentioned in the file print while booking. Room service and housekeeping are efficient and quick. Buffet breakfast is fit for a king but we preferred to eat out for the rest of the meals. Rooms are well appointed. Ask for the sea facing rooms.

Awesome resort and services. Hospitality is great. Clean beach property. Good buffet spread, but it did not have seafood menu that should be in a beach resort. Big and lavish property. Want to visit again.

It's away from the crowd and amidst nature , it's serine and calm, it doesn't have private beach but the general public don't have access to the beach. The staff are really good and helping , many Russians visit regularly here, Beach is awesome with white sand

Overall Experience was good. Property is huge. Pudding opening to the beach. Though it is not a private beach. But it is bang opposite to the beach. Huge grandeur set up in terms of space. Rooms are okay.

Negative
Inconsistencies of maintaining customers record. Staff need more training. Staff mostly felt like on internship, while no problem with young and new people. But grooming need to be done better. I have to tell everyday that I have received discount from hotel on food, and show the mail to them. Let down as information not available with hotel itself while they keep on checking records further more.

Felt staff could be more courteous, I am not sure whether it has something to do with treatment to select people differently. Ask for late check-out gave reason they are full, but they were not. They can directly say charges apply which is fine. But it is all about how do you put across, else there is no difference between 5 star hotel duty manager and normal hotel manager.

Next time not sure I want to come back here.

The beach front and the shack is the deciding factor for any beach resort, especially in Goa.

On this front this place was a big disappointment. They clearly didnt have a chef to manage the beachside restraunt.

For example, the tandoor opens only for dinner time. We ordered 'Calamari butter garlic', which was neither buttery nor garlicy. Try this item in any other shacks along the beaches in Goa and you should get a flaourful snacking item.

What they presented as dum biriyani was a poor attempt at a tawa biriyani.... ....oily and spicy......Have had much better tawa biriyani on streets of mumbai. The shack and restraunts are separate units. Shack not even serving fresh juices. We had to wait till 12 pm till the restraunt opens for a glass of water melon juice.

The best place to relax. It has got an amazing private authorized beach and I found it to be very very clean than other beaches. One can never get bored being here. The place includes swimming pool,snooker,table tennis, beach, disco, lawn tennis, and many other sports. The rooms are good and spacious. The food was average. It's 1 hour drive from the airport towards south of goa to reach the hotel. I found it far from the tourist attractions in Goa.

Best for Family vacation.. Book well before to enjoy the vacations in some less fares. Food is not up to the mark for indian taste. If you want to have food in lesser prize range try out in some shacks on the Beach. Food is expensive in Caravela. All other services are top.. You wish it and they will fulfill :)

Had an amazing stay at Caravela during the Covid Pandemic. The hotel ensured high standards of hygiene and would recommend this hotel to one and all!

Very bad experience, room n bathrooms are not 5 star quality, washrooms dun work well, the sports activity at th beach of th resort definitely not recommended, rude peopl n only fleecing public, inspite of complaining again n again no action was taken , aud not recommend, not worth spending there are better options , dun book online u will get stick n since u paid u cant even walk away

Mr Prasad is a gem of person who heads the team. Mr Diniz and Mr Conny who looks after the F& B and Mr Paul who heads the kitchen take care of your stay so well that you forget you are not at home.

Amazing experience in caravela. Beach is really clean, rooms are cozy n comfortable, Hospitility n helpful staff is up to the mark.Food is good. A well maintained property with natural beauty what else we can ask for. Will visit again this place.

I spent Three Nights and four days at this resort. Its an awosome place to stay and relax. It has all the amenities one needs. Be it a children area, games for adults like golf, Badminton, TT, pool, gym etc. This resort has a private beach which is very clean. The best part is that the beach is not at all crowded. So if you are planning a trip with family then its the place to explore. The rooms are big and has lovely view from balcony.
Outside gate you will get rental bikes and scooters. Actually when you are inside the resort there are so many things to explore, so one hardly will go out.
The food is good. Try Goan Fish, or fish items its delicious. I didn t like biryani so will not suggest that.
The staff is very cordial and humble. The service is quick.
The pick and drop again surprised me. So quick and flawless.
Go for it. Vakue for money.

The stay was comfortable and pleasant.. The food was a little bland for our taste.. otherwise.. an overall relaxing stay. .

I loved this place because it is very relaxing and enjoyable... The beach is very close and if touch the water it is so warm! The pool is lovely and I think anyone would love this place in South Goa.

The location is awesome and the rooms are also good

If you want a peaceful beach with lesser crowd, this is the beach you should be in South Goa. There are only two beach restaurants serving food & drinks. You can find beach sport activities like Para Sailing, Jet Ski etc available here at an affordable price. This beach is for those who want to stay away from the maddening crowd like the ones in North Goa.

The Good Experience: Stay was good and so was the food. The swimming pool is good too. Staff was hospitable.
The Not so Good Experience: We were not allowed to go the beach with lame excuses of it being risky with snake, crabs and dogs in the night time. Same was the case with the gym where they didn't allow us without sports shoes. And the gym was small, in the deep dark interiors or the building, with entrance passing through many other rooms. These gym and beach restrictions were not mentioned anywhere. A person on holiday might not care about bringing sports shoes and might wanna take a stroll on the beach late in the night. That's why one would book a resort with a pvt. beach which apparently was of no use.

Food was good with variety but costly. One meal for a person would cost a minimum of 1000 and so if a person wants to chill in the resort for the entire day then it'll be added cost over the already costly stay.
