I am typing this from Caravela Resort Room 267. The room had excellent garden view. Caravela is an really excellent place. The resort is very vast in landscape area and well maintained. We can visibly see the efforts they take to maintain this resort. I would say no other place here is a match for Caravela. Caravela is highly photogenic and perfect for staycation. The private beach is clean and well maintained. There are excellent and affordable water sporting activities. The resort is craftfully and luxuriously designed. The greatest asset of this resort is their staff. Be it the restaurant staff or the housekeeping staff, they are committed to make your stay comfortable. The Diwali dinner buffet that the resort hosted with live music and dance was fantastic. In-room dining is quite expensive. The resort can do something about that.
Great place for vacation break. Once you here you may not feel to go out and relax within Resort. They have lush green park, recreational activities, beach side resturent and bar with sitout, neat and clean uncrouded beach, open swimming pool with bar, multiple in house resturanta for various dining needs, car parking, small shops and travel desk. Breakfast is complimentary with good range of options to delight your taste buds.

If u are travelling with kid, then I won't recommend. As they don't have anything complimentary apart from khichdi. All the chargeable baby food items are not up to the mark. If they can't take care of baby food, then it's not worth of it. Secondly, taxi union will loot you if you will dare to think of going out to town. Local taxis are not allowed. Ambiance is good and definitely good option for couples but not with Kid.

The best resort at Goa, lonely isolated silent huge place landscape property with own beach, beach side restaurant, parashoot, scooter cycles all available, room quite well maintained , fast and best service all over best landscape expand in huge area , fountain , beach chair, swimming pool, spa all amenities include, restaurant and bufe service hygienic, fast very excellent and dinner buffe with live music, musicians are excellent, overall ambience are really reach and good looking very much comfortable and if more star allow Google than I give more than five stars, I just loved to stay here, beach really good one to swim and enjoy, keep it up very good place to come on weekends , or for ceremony. Only thing wifi is poor but anyway I just love caravels,
The rooms are small and badly designed. Bathrooms do not have lock. We took a deluxe room and it wasnt upto expectation. Also the pool rules say you have to wear a 2 piece bikini for females else it not allowed to the pool!!!

We stayed for 5 nights at Caravela beach resort.Had a perfect experience of vacation, clean and secluded beach for guests and friendly staff. What lacks the most in this property is consistency in food to some extent. But overall resort provides terrific experience and ataff is warm,prompt and caring.
Actually this is the best place in Goa. You should forget about cheaper places because this India and standard tourists from European can't live in Indian hotels (even if is 4* Indian stars). The best strategy is you live here and make trip to Hampi etc. God bless 5* stars of Caravella.

Beach was great. I wasn't too impressed with their restaurant though. The order in menu food tastes much better. Avoid the grilled cheese sandwich as it's just a slice of processed cheese in toast.
Very lovely and green property spread over acres of land. Overlooking the sea waters. Staff members take very good care of guests individual choices and make you feel at home.respect for the khushal who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! who works as a waiter in room service as well.

Best resort ever.....it's has a huge area....lovely rooms....beautiful golf course...I loved the pool since it had a bar in it ......plus it has an activity room for kids.....and personal beach of course.....which is great coz he have selected people there...so totally classy...

We stayed on 14th to 16th Aug 2018 with group of Friends had a great holiday the highlight of the property is a 9 pit golf course (golf was closed for monsoon season) and the beautiful landscapes.

Property is beautiful and well maintained. Hospitality is also the best. If you want to relax then this the best place. The rooms are regularly cleaned with proper sanitized. viewing sunset from room was awesome experience.. Mr. David was so helpful during our stay. Beach was clean too. I would definitely recommend stay at this resort.
It's ok, but service was not that great. Faced problem with room opening keys and they took 3 hours to clear this

Lots of activities for kids in the activity centre to keep them engaged but it should be free of cost. Though it was charged nominally.
Big and clean swimming pools for kids and adults. Nice rooms and very beautifully decorated property. The landscape is just too good. Private beach a perfect place for family and kids to enjoy swimming.
Outdoor activities like golf ,lawn tennis, beach volleyball, cricket, cycling etc are some few reason to book this destination. Beach has White sands which is the USP of Varca beach.
Food is also very good. We had buffet. It had a large variety.
Staff also very helpful and courteous.

It's far from the market. Make sure you stay here only if you wish to hang around the property and have no intention to explore other parts of Goa which are more worth visiting than just staying in this property.
Also, there are no trasport available. If you want to visit anywhere in Goa or go-to Airport/Railway station, you'll have to take the hotel taxi or from the Union which is right outside of hotel and both of these options are very very expensive.
Overall I would say, if you just there for the property, it's worth otherwise please avoid staying here, it can be very boring
One of the best resorts in Goa for a luxurious high end stay with all amenities. The rooms are great, the pool too good, the private beach is more than Clean and the resort is so huge there's no chance you'll get bored with rustic swings and great views. Also the 3 restaurants and the gift shop add value to your stay. A must go to!

One of the amazing place in Goa I found with a great menu and with a very nominal price. Serving is great plus it's on the beach so you can have a great sunset view from there and enjoy your drinks and food.
The food is excellent. And dining area is quite amazing too. They'll always have a wonderful singer or a magician to help you through with the dinner.
The resort is build in a classic design but has everything....nice pool, decent beach, a small but fabulous discotheque, gym etc. The range of rooms is quite diversed, so your overall experience might depend on what kind of room you get to stay in. The villas are amazing. And a "sunset point" at the golf course is the best spot, particularly to sit at night and watch the waves hit the shore....

There are experiences and then there are experiences of a lifetime that create new memories and touch your heart n soul like no other. Our Ramada experience was surreal to say the least. Right from the time we landed up at the airport till the time we were dropped back the entire experience was just fantastic. Let me explain in detail:
1. Booking Experience: I was dealing with Ms Supriya Gurung for the rooms booking who was excellent in her response time. I was not sure of what the Sea View room looked like and she duely sent me a picture. Just perfect.
2. Airport Pickup: I wanted to have a car pickup from the airport however, when I landed there I saw that nobody had come to pick us. However, all that was taken care by the entusiastic and ever helpful Mr, Gibson who called for a car and we were off to Ramada in a few mintues. The driver Mr Chavan was also a very cheerful guy. We knew that we're in for something special at Ramada that very moment.
3. Check-in: We were amazed at the way everything at Ramada looked so ready and neatly organized. Our check-in took more time then what is acceptable but the young guy at the counter explained to me all the necessary things for having a lovely holiday. We were welcomed with fresh hand towels and canned juice which i thought could have been a traditional goan drink or something.
4. Room: The sea view room at the new wing is straight out a dream holiday. Overlooking the sea, the room was literally with a view. Fantastic. The bed was supersoft and the bathroom was super clean. Whoa! The private balcony is where you put up your feet and relax.
5. Food: I am a self confessed foodie and I must say that the food at Ramada was extra-ordinary. The breakfast, lunch, dinner all super duper hit with my family. Both lunch and dinner had one goan or portugese main dish in fish, chicken, or mutton. Now thats what i call expansive menu. It had something for everyone. Now this is coming from someone who's lived the Goa life years after years. The goan food was goddamn authentic as it gets. I'll go to Ramada for the food alone. Just too too good. Congrats to all the chefs there. Chef Abdul, Chef Raj, Chef Saurabh, and whoever i missed out. My fav were Fish Balchao, Goan Caldeen, Chicken Caferel, and Rawa Fried Fish. Also, all the live singers were terrific and entertaining except the singer on the night of 25th Aug who was on a mission to make everybody sleep with his super boring songs.
6. Beach: I was told by Mr Kaito, the driver who dropped us at the airport that, the Caravela beach is rated Number 3 in the world. a white sand beach, Caravela beach is Ramada's jewel in the crown. Ramada ensures it is super clean and takes all the efforts to do so. It is almost like a private beach with beautiful, sparkling water. Just too good.
7. Service & Hospitality: Its very hard to impress me but Ramada did it quiet easily. Ramada service was out of this world. The room service, the quick a/c fixes, towel changes, and so on. You name it and they did it. I was like having a genie at our disposal. We owe our fantastic holiday due to these hard working staff at Ramada. They are the pillars of this great resort. Exceptional is the word.
8. Swimming Pool: The best part is that they give you nice, clean, warm towels at the pool. The water is sparkling clean and extremely well kept. My 2 yr daughter absolutely loved playing at this beautiful pool.
> Taxis need NOT be so expensive. Rs 1500 is a bit on the higher side especially when Petrol/Diesel is probably the cheapest in Goa.
> Ramada is in South Goa which far off from the hustle bustle of say Calangute or Candolim. So DO NOT here expecting that. This resort is strictly for relaxation, walk on the beach with hand-in-hand and lots of playing with your kids.
> Carry your own pool ball and ring. The resort does not provide you anything. You'll have to buy from their shop at higher rates.
I would love to visit again and again. Fully relaxed.

It's a nice resort and has good amenities. It has also a beach area with shacks. Over all I found it very pleasant except one thing that their food menu didn't have wider verities of sea food. Overall it is good.

Visited n stayed for 4 days n finds the place amazing. Beautiful property on the beach or it has a private beach. Ample food varieties on display during bfast,lunch n on dinner. Excellent service, clean rooms, child activities, night club, live music while having dinner n what not? An exceptional place for an extra ordinary holiday. The best part it s not on the main road. Sun set point. Golf course, swimming pool... it has all the facilities, you look for!!

Best resort in goa.. Cleanest beach and biggest swimming pool.. Clean rooms.. Fishermans Wharf restaurant is about 20 mins..
The rooms were not cleaned properly. There were lot of ants on table and tea cattle. we stayed there for 2 days and food in breakfast in same everyday. The worst part is that you can not book taxi from outside due to taxi union and Ramada hotel is charging 60% extra due to location of the property.
A secluded beach resort, it's roughly an hour's drive from airport to South Goa. It has a golf course of its own and a private beach which is clean and uncrowded. The atmosphere is serene and you're left at peace with the sea without the noisy north Goa vibe.
Food is good albeit a little pricey and there are no shacks nearby. Lots of families. There's a good kids club to keep your little ones busy during afternoons. There are free yoga classes everyday if you're into that. The swimming pool is nice and big.
The staff is very warm and friendly. They go out of their way to help you.
My only beef with the hotel is that they use a lot of plastic which can be completely done away with. There are complementary plastic water bottles each day and I saw plastic stirrers in drinks. They can easily use eco friendly replacements.
