It's really good place to celebrate candle light dinner. The best part is to get it customize as per your requirements. I would like to thank Chef Jesuraj for being very cooperative and understanding importance of event. He is been very helpful in getting things done with regular follow up.

Great property, lush greens and big resort.. A very Nice pool and courteous smiling staff...A very nice clean private beach..Good restaurant but with prices on the higher side..
Things to see around are far from here, so arrange a cab or car if you want to go sightseeing as distances are long and scooter would be tiring.

Very bad experience.

Very bad experience.
The resort had organised a marriage function for 3 days coinciding with our stay. It was absolutely chaotic, noisy and crowded affair, especially in the common areas and the restaurants. The other guests were put to extreme discomfort and danger as no norms of social distancing was enforced or maintained in these pandemic times.
The least they could have done was informed us in advance of the event so that we could have taken an informed choice.
To their credit, the Management realised their folly and apologised, when pointed out. Also, to their credit, the property is good, well maintained and is adjacent to an awesome beach.

One of the best beach resort in South Goa. Well maintained private beach which has para ceiling activity. Resort itself designed beautifully, neatly maintained rooms with courtecios staff. Rooms are bit smaller than it appears in the photos, but easily manageble for a 2+1 family. It has 3 different types of restaurant, one of them being on the beach. There is one buffet restaurant separately. The best part is the pool. Well maintained pool with island bar. Excellent landscape. It has lot of other facilities like tennis, badminton, golf and indoor activity centre for children.
I have reduced 1 star for two reasons. With so much facilities in the resort and charging around 10k per night, it's ridiculous that there is no shade for parking. We had to park our car for 3 days in a scorching heat and humidity. Another thing we didn't like is the snacks item kept in the room. It's chargeable and it's 10x of MRP. This is just ripping of the customer. Not sure why they have keep it without customer request.
Overall we had excellent 3 night stay and enjoyed it. Would love to visit one more time

Were in February 2014. Chic well maintained place. Huge territory, endless beaches. On the beaches and around the hotel are local restaurants with Russian-speaking staff. I liked everything very much!

Beautiful landscaping and architecture. The resort is spread over 23 acres and the lobby is the main attraction with architecture reminiscent of Portuguese churches. The resort consists of a private beach entrance, and a golf course. They have a very good buffet spread for breakfast. The pool area is quite large with an island bar inside the pool

This resort is 30 mins away from Colva on the varca beach. Beach sand is soft and white. Beach is clean as it's a private beach and ony three or four shacks nearby. Resort follows all the COVID precautions. Location is beautiful. You can hear the sound waves when you sit in the balcony if you book sea facing room. They have garden, sea and pool facing room. Resort offers free breakfast buffet.Lunch and dinner buffet which can be pre-book else they have 2 restaurant and 3 bars and lounge. Food is okish not value for money.

One of the best resorts I have ever visited.
Had a peaceful stay for 3 days.

Private beach was great along with water sport availability was a plus. And yes there was a beach bar and shack like multi cuisine restaurant.

Lawn and garden area were neatly maintained along with swings to enjoy the shade of the trees.

Complimentary breakfast was superb with wide range of options. Taste was good as well.

Swimming pool was clean and had pool bars too.

Thanks to the resort for being flexible with our booking due to the pandemic.

Check in was smooth, however they didn't have a proper way to transfer the luggage to the room which was at a far end of the property.

Our room was not great, it had plumbing issues to start with, which took an hour to resolve & no follow ups or comms from management. It was right next to a storage room so continuously noisy..the noise from corridors and other rooms was too much and sleep was disturbed. Kettle was broken, very limited 3 sugar satchets/day provided for tea/coffee, there was no menu for in room dining or activities at the resort.

Bathrooms are a 3-star property ones, the fittings are old and stained, need a replacement..

Pool is awesome, the swim up bar ia great. They also clean it regularly every few hours which is credible but caps and showers not compulsory for guests before jumping in reeks poor hygiene measures. Hope they change this.

The food is decent but overpriced. Nothing mind blowing for the cost and with access to shacks across the beach doesnt make sense to use the restaurants at the property.

Breakfast spread good but overcrowded n no measures in place for social distancing. Quite surprising in pandemic times and a bit scary to eat here with the slackness.

Beach is semi private very clean and great to get into the water, basic cycles are available on rent to go on the beach. Para sailing available. The massage was decent though the therapists dont communicate.

Our check out was smooth in particular Ritesh very courteous and they packed breakfast for us.

Overall, the property was just ok, and didn't feel like value enough for the monies spent.

It was our first time to stay in South Goa, And because of the monsoon, we choose this one, as they have their private beach. The room that we booked was'nt really good, so we upgraded to Ocean View room and the view was magnificent, waking every morning to that view was just priceless. Yes, we did pay the up gradation cost, but the duty Manager at the reception gave us a good deal for the upgrade. The property is huge and very well maintained, loved the sprawling greens throughout and golf lessons were also going on there, the pool is humungous. There were activities going on through out the day, to keep the kids busy. The service is very consistent, be it room service or at the restaurant. It was just the buffet part, which was'nt upto the 5 star standards that troubled us. Otherwise everything was good. Their F & B Managers Leo & Nizam left no stone unturned in taking good care of us. All in all, it was a comfortable stay. Big Thanks to Leo & Nizam :)

We booked the resort for 4 night stay. The prices were very expensive but we thought they would provide exceptional service. Checking in itself was very tiresome and lengthy procedure. Since we are travelling and come its their duty to provide hassle free checkin for the customers.
WiFi signal or network in this resort sucks in here.
Now to the positive's - The private beach provided is spec and clean . It is well maintained and you have watersports and stuff there itself.
The room service and Dining is good. But the restaurant food is very much overpriced.
One more thing this place is in inner area of Goa so to access main parts the travel is lengthy.
We had rented a self drive car hence it was ok for us to travel to and fro. Don't spend too much money booking this resort spend that on adventure sports and site seeing. It's not worth it

We stayed in a beautifully designed, spotless clean and very comfortable Villa. We enjoyed lovely view of sea waves and lush green landscape straight from our big balcony. Villa main room has bathtub with Jacuzzi.

Staff here is extremely courteous, friendly, caring and well trained to deliver services on time. All hotel services were up to the mark.

There's a well maintained swimming pool with an attentive lifeguard. Kids had a great time in the pool. Pool also has bar.

The beach is simply clean and beautiful, very calm and serene.
Buffet offered in the resort has varied varieties both in vegetarian and non-veg cuisines. Being vegetarian, we had a lot of delicious options available to satiate our taste buds.

The best part of our stay was that in the resort there were ample of entertainment activities going on, to keep the kids busy the whole day, like swimming, playing chess, TT, glass painting, towel designing, Golf, gym, morning yoga and so on. Our family enjoyed both discotheque and karaoke night. Surprisingly India s one of the best magician also visits resort on some days who makes evening fun filled. One can easily spend the whole day and night in the resort without getting bored.

I would highly recommend this luxurious resort both to honey moon couples and families. We would love to stay at this resort in the near future.

Awesome place!

Awesome place!
Gorgeous property.. Nice buffet spread... Nice greenery around the resort more so because of the 9 hole golf course lot of open space.. Sea view rooms and villas are to die for... Very nice staff, proactive, and courteous..
Just need one improvement, for kids below 5 years the kid room doesn't have great toys. Old, rickety stuff... They should get new colorful toys.

Beautiful, peaceful place. Very courteous and pleasing staff. It's a huge place, with a small golf course inside it. The Private Beach is spectacular, and secluded. Thanks to the Caravella Team we had am amazing time.

Amazing property by the beach. Huge swimming pool . Well maintained. The villas are quite comfortable and cozy the view to each villa is exceptionally good. The service is quite fast and upto standards. There is a private beach open all day and all night so you have the luxury of going to the beach whenever feel like. Beach is clean and well maintained. Great experience at the resort.

Excellent resort with great ambience. Nice and clean beach with little crowd. Calm beach with only few people's. Enjoy sports ride as well. Cycling in the morning was great experience. This beach really refresh the mind with its calmness and clean water

Excellent beach resort. The beach is very clean and almost private, so excellent for relaxing. The downside is that there is not much in south Goa, so this place is perfect for those who want to just relax and not do touristy stuff.
Although the beach is great, there are shells. So be careful while walking otherwise you might end up bleeding but this aspect has nothing to do with resort.
I am sharing some of the beach photos

The resort had stunning lawns, golf courses, a nice swimming pool and great beach access, but the array of unwelcoming and disgruntled hotel staff make sure you don t get the stay you were promised nor the stay you paid for. For example, they have a very strict 12pm checkout deadline, but when it comes to check-in, they are okay making you wait till 4pm for your room. The hotel is in a remote location, and they are happy to arrange a taxicab to well known sightseeing locations, but be ready to eke out 4x the cost than if you were to book the cab yourself. Despite booking 5 rooms, the hotel didn t even arrange conveyance to the transportation terminals. The buffet spread is varied, but none of them outstanding. Otherwise, the food is overpriced, and all purchases exclude the 18% GST. The room service is pallid, the milk we ordered for kids at night was spoilt (it was replaced, however). The pool opens only 10am and closes by dawn, and during the time it operates, is very selective in allowing who can use it. Essentially, they want you to purchase their swimsuit merchandise, else you can t use their pool. Even after the checkout, they make sure you leave with a sour experience. We were hanging around the lawns (which was one of the few good things offered by the resort) after checking out completely. Within half an hour, we received a rude call from the reception to settle the huge room service bills, lest we run off.

Nice

Unresponsive and disrespectful.

Unresponsive and disrespectful.
The booking person Mr Ketan does not care to even respond to a customer's simple enquiries regarding room availability. The first time I called, he asked me to call after 15 minutes. The second time, he asked me to email him and that he doesn't have time to answer over a call. And after that he did not respond at all for hours. His tone was sexist, and he may have responded if the person enquiring had been a male. So, as he did not respond, we booked another place.

If a person is unable to provide this basic level of service of answering a phone call, I'm very sceptical about what sort of service we will receive if we book this place.

Great resort, quite large with a full golf course. The beach next to it is very clean. Almost all facilities one needs, are present in this resort. Service is fantastic, food delectable, location of the resort not too way off. All this comes at a price and this is pricey, though one must keep in mind that all resorts in this category are similarly priced

Just finished a family Holiday at Caravela Resort....

Just finished a family Holiday at Caravela Resort. It s a five star resort in true sense. Apart from being surrounded with acres of green lawns and clean white sand private beach, the management of the resort have their eyes to the minute details be it hygiene, cleanliness, easy access to the required facilities to extreme professional and courteous staff. Would highly recommend to people looking for a holiday in a tranquil and beautiful location in South Goa.

As for me, when I m in Goa next, Caravela is the destination to go for

We had an average stay there.

We had an average stay there.
Resort is Overpriced!!
No doubt the beach is beautiful and clean, rooms were small, esp. the bathroom.
Food is average too, can be improved.
Rest the staff was quite helpful.
And and the Internet was PATHETIC, i repeat pathetic!!

Location is around 3 kms off the road. However place is very quite.Room dining is having limited options. However cleanliness is good. Services are also good. However taxi services has limited options (May be because of local cab union) but worst part is u can't get taxi services on ur own. They do not allow cab from outside the location. Sea beach is private and not crowded, also it's clean. Pool size is standard. Overall all its good place to stay.

It's a great property in South Goa. It is well kept and has a lot of amenities and activities to keep you occupied. The private beach is clean and well maintained. Reducing 1 star for lack of food options and slow service at restaurant and in-room.

Excellent place to relax, enjoy the Beach, swim, eat, be with nature and go back refresh.
Resort located on Southern Goa Beach line. Provides exclusive beach with options of water sports(on payment). Located on long, pristine Beach gives you plenty of options to engage. The resort has indoor swimming pool, catering to all ages, a nine golf golf course(on payment), discotheque, tennis courts, beach games like volleyball, football, cricket etc.
A perfect getaway for couple of days with your friends and family to relax, invograte and enjoy. The long walk on beach, bare foot, walk on the golf course, bare foot gives you natural healing.
The rooms are executively designed with balconies and excellent views. The dinning options are plenty and dinning area is huge, the bar is well stocked. Plenty of options for party/conference halls where 80 to 100 guests can mingle and have seperate get together.

So try once and enjoy the nature and contemporary both at one place. Rejuvenate yourself.

The hotel has an amazing spa and yoga guru. These are the only two plus. Otherwise we went for the corporate event. The bathtubs had stains ( they said it's the broken fix). The basic cutlery in beffet meal wasn't there inspite of pointing on day one. For example the dessert of tiramisu served in shot glass they didn't keep dessert spoon. The bread picking spoons was to be shared for dessert and breads. These are basic cutlery you would expect in 4 star. The water bottle were provided only on request. I don't know if they treat other guests also like the same. Food was average.

The worst resort u have ever come across, the staff is so rude, they don't have any of the services they so called offer at various online platforms. The room service is super slow, the breakfast buffet was just OK. Appt from the property's beach nothing there is worth going all the way to South Goa for.
