The resort had stunning lawns, golf courses, a nice swimming pool and great beach access, but the array of unwelcoming and disgruntled hotel staff make sure you don t get the stay you were promised nor the stay you paid for. For example, they have a very strict 12pm checkout deadline, but when it comes to check-in, they are okay making you wait till 4pm for your room. The hotel is in a remote location, and they are happy to arrange a taxicab to well known sightseeing locations, but be ready to eke out 4x the cost than if you were to book the cab yourself. Despite booking 5 rooms, the hotel didn t even arrange conveyance to the transportation terminals. The buffet spread is varied, but none of them outstanding. Otherwise, the food is overpriced, and all purchases exclude the 18% GST. The room service is pallid, the milk we ordered for kids at night was spoilt (it was replaced, however). The pool opens only 10am and closes by dawn, and during the time it operates, is very selective in allowing who can use it. Essentially, they want you to purchase their swimsuit merchandise, else you can t use their pool. Even after the checkout, they make sure you leave with a sour experience. We were hanging around the lawns (which was one of the few good things offered by the resort) after checking out completely. Within half an hour, we received a rude call from the reception to settle the huge room service bills, lest we run off.
