Great layout & super fresh salad bar. Nice selection of wine, too!
Great layout & super fresh salad bar. Nice selection of wine, too!
They did not have enough of a product I was looking for.
Clean store amazing staff and great prices I recommend this to all my friends.
Great supermarket but rising prices due to gentrification of the neighborhood. And untrustworthy staff. If you live something behind like a cash back or something you paid for, you won't find it when you come back the next day. I lost $50 shopping there in a year alone. Be aware !
Generally, Ralph's is a good store, but this Ralph's on 9th street, is one of the worst. I had brought some cookies and I have found out that they are letting people tamper with their food. I ate the cookies and my body felt like I have been given some kind of drug.
As good as everyone say it will be - the line can tends to be a bit long but man is it worth the wait. I got the hot chicken sandwhich (medium) with Mac and cheese on top and fries. Mac and cheese was great. Didn't realize they give you honey to put on the chicken. Only complaint is the medium wasn't spicy at all (my own fault) and I wish I went hotter! They crank out the orders so even though the line may be long, food will come out quick.
Conveniently located by Staples Center and within walking distance from a lot of good shopping.
For some reason the line did not move for 10 minutes at checkout!
Really nice place...
We are from New Jersey so for us it looks like kinds mix ShopRite + wholefoods
From the flat-screened bar to the assortment of usually (and not normally) carried brands, this may possibly be the best Ralph's in all of Los Angeles.
This is absolutely my favorite Ralph's. Of course, because it's a Fresh Fare, it has higher end products and excellent produce, a very good wine and spirits selection, a large and tasty deli/hot foods section, a decent bakery with artisan breads, a good array of kitchen gadgets, even a small wine bar when one feels the need for a cocktail (although I miss the Starbucks). But what really sets this store apart is their customer service (if you read my reviews you will find this is key for a 5 star review from me). The produce department is really terrific, super helpful if you have a question. If there is a problem, the front end managers (thank you April!) will go out of their way to make it right. And they're open late, a real bonus in the Downtown area.!
"This store andhad a variety of items from cheese, to organic veggies!"
Omg Ralph's saved me!!! Only business with humility that allow all to use the restroom!!! I love yo KROGER!!! THE MFVP!!!! THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN I ATE IN Los Angeles btw!!!
Don t bother coming here for anything customer service related(money orders etc.) you will be wasting your time. The building is itself looks nice but parking attendants and tall guy at the front desk are not nice and are very snobby.
Its quite small but way cleaner and much more organized then other ralphs
Don't to at peak times or you will stand in a line for 20 minutes. They don't usually have the staff for 3's a crowd.
Only super market in dt area open until 2am. Parking is convenient as well as selection
One of the best bars on the north side! Bartenders are so good you can do dealers choice and almost guaranteed an amazing drink!
This Ralph's is walking distance from the Convention Center, it is pretty big and busy.
The costumes are at the location of FIDM
( Fashions Institute of Design and Merchandising ). They are wardrobes from several different Netflix shows and motion pictures. They have a museum there and admission is free.
Some of the workers are nice. My husband had a bad service with a supervisor.
Love this Ralph's. Enjoy shopping here, quality food and a superior deli.
They have a yummy hot foods bar & 2dy (dont know wen sale ends) @ 8 pieces for 6.99 & meal w 2 sides & drink @ 12.99 !! I rarely drink hwevr they also have a bar w/ a tv 2 watch sports w a self check out area lool!
The location of this store has saved us 3 years in a row now next to the convention center and in turn saved us so much money on food and goods.
Just what you need in the heart of Downtown LA to get what you need at a great price and get on with you adventures in Los Angeles.
Full-service grocer. Includes a dine-in deli counter. Fresh produce selection includes exotic fruits and vegetables. Extensive bakery offerings. Open late 7 days a week.
Nice store, love it. But some of the employees can get bent. Especially cashier Jenn P, she ruins the store and she can shove her attitude up her holes.
Parking validation is on the way out - 90 minutes free
Best grocery store downtown, and it has a huge selection of pre-made dinners that just need cooked (e.g. chicken skewers, seasoned chicken breast, carnitas)
Fantastic store!!! Everyone is friendly and attentive and never had an issue. Security is on it!!!! They don't bother you but they are keeping an eye on things! I got out of my way to shop here. I've tried other stores but I keep coming back here. Prices are great, food is great, deli staff is VERY knowledgeable with what meats goes best with cheeses. Can't say anything bad except I used to get carded a lot for alcohol but I should take that as a compliment!
this is my primary market...they seem to do the best r able, considering r always busy.. during this pandemic I think they r holding up fairly well.. only thing is this market doesn't cash payroll checks...or any kind. i guess is for security reasons. otherwise is a good store to me.
I thought the past few months were horrible during the construction and remodeling but today's visit was pretty impressive. The shelves seem a little higher, the aisles a little longer. That could be my perception or I'll need to start using the vision plan at work. I do like the new deli lunch area with the new tiles and new food areas. The same for the meats and hot food area as before. The section where the Chinese food and sushi was going on is a new kind of island going on. The sandwich island moved to the other side to make room for the...wait for it...bar. Whaaaaaaaaaa............
Yes, there is now a bar type of setting. You can sit down for a glass of wine or a cold one of what they have on tap. Of course you cannot mistake an orange head on one of the handles but there's at least 5 different beers on tap. The only thing is alcohol cannot go beyond this point. So look at these signs before you start drinking. I know how your beer goggles work.
The salad bar is still there re-arranged a little bit and a few more options. Planting a few more stations for easier check-out instead of waiting at one of the checkout counters or self-checkout. You can definitely be on the move in no time if you're short on time for lunch. I checked out the fridge section and drooled over the ready made sandwiches and wraps. What really caught my eye is the Shrimp & Crab Louie salad probably because it was raining outside today. Seemed like a seafood kind of day for me. Weird, I know. To each their own. Thirsty? Just check out the line up for the drinks in the long aisle perfectly stocked with the labels out. Now what is your excuse?
Will this bring you in to shop around for a while? Do I have to say sometime like, I'll buy you a beer if we come here for lunch? You should be buying me a beer because it's 5 o'clock somewhere. Just be aware of metered parking. One side of the street ticket AND tow right at 3PM. Don't say I didn't warn you when you think someone jacked your ride.
Great store , selection of of drinks liqure to wine fresh produce, deli huge selection of vegan , Vegas and non Vegas cooked sell by lb selection of soup are imeaging great customer service , I love this store .
this is an especially nice Ralphs. Parking is kind of a pain once you get the drill it's pretty easy and they validate. Entrances to the parking are hard to find if you use Google maps.
Very meet and clean. Super staff. Fresh merchandise. I love the place. Cool staff
The should open more registers instead of making people waste their time in lines. They have too many to not do that
My favorite grocery store in DTLA. Free 1 hour parking with validation.
The most terrible store in CA: very rude staff, huge lines of 20 and more people, because only 1-2 cashiers opened, very dirty, nobody helps and cares about anything here...
The most trustworthy grocery shop in my area. No hidden charges compared to others! I never thought all I need would be just right here! They have an impressive interior as well. I will never forget to tell all of my friends and colleagues about this grocery shop. Try their services and you won t regret it for sure.
Ralphs did a really nice remodel The only weird thing is they put a huge wine bar in the middle of the floor..Its takes up a ton of room and is awkard to get around it plus...no one is really using it..I expect it cost alot but sooner or later it will be removed...I do miss the coffee bar they had. and wish that might be returned somehow...But all in all a really nice supermarket and a great friendly staff
This store yellow color dyed hair manager is so rude. She didn t accept my emotional support dog right away when i got Ralphs. But before other manager (same store) she was really kind my dog and welcome. Also other employees likes my dog. I think that she just doesn t like dog.
A bit sketchy. Tellers seem to move very slowly. Hard to get through a line in less than 10 minutes. If it s late at night, make it 20
Friendly staff, very accomodating. Price is very competitive!
Love this place have almost everything you need. However you have to watch prices at the checkout!
This is the place to shop if you need some grub for the week.
We bought meat last night. Opened the package to cook it tonight, the underside is completely rotted. It smells terrible. Absolutely disgusting.
It's a market what else can I say... Prices could be lower, then again so can everything else, right?
Typical American supermarket with a huge selection. Unfortunately we could not find a parking space, but stopping shortly before that was no problem.
Clean market andGreat service fast service and friendly
Very clean and organized. Great hot food selections
Last Sunday, after the mass, my mom and I went to the grocery shop to buy some things for the house. The store was so big, kids can even be lost. There are a lot of sections and it was well-organized. In one section, there has all the meat, and another section was all their dairy and fruits. And the staff was so friendly and helpful, that they will help and assist you find some stuff you can't.
There was a staff who could speak Japanese.
The side dishes were also delicious.
Hands down the rudest customer service I have ever received anywhere in my life. Never coming back. I'd give 0 stars if I could.
Staff is NOT FRIENDLY and store isles are NOT wheelchair friendly
They have a lot of prepared foods and a bar with a big screen TV.
Decent Ralphs, but in the middle of DTLA sometime is getting uncomfortable to shop.
It is my favourite supermarket. Convenient and free parking. Good meat, fish, seafood and also fresh fruits and vegetables. I could find almost all the ingredients to cook a Spanish paella. And last but not least very helpful and kind employees.
This one in DTLA has it all including a bar inside the store! Husbands are pleased lol
It's quite AMAZING. The only thing is they don't stock Doritos Taco flavor.
Pretty people's Ralph's. Staple of the DTLA neighborhood. Underground parking. Milk, full service deli counter, and endless salad and food bar. Spend a little time taking in plenty of great tastes at the in store, Beer bar.
This is one of the cleanest, well kept Ralph's I have been to and they have everything!!!
Best Ralphs! Great Store Manager , wonderful experience.
Always shopping at Ralps. Forbit being in a busy area... im Always in & out!
Stores says it closes at 2am. I drove all the way here and arrived at 1:45 just for the ruda security to say you cant come in. Apperently the employees want to go home early so they inconvice their own coustomer.
CHANGE YOUR POSTED HOURS OF OPERATION SIGN TO 1:30.
STOP LYING TO PEOPLE AND SAYING YOUR OPEN UNTIL 2am if u wont let anyone inside!!!
I've been loyal customer to Ralphs Supermarkets in the Los Angeles Area for over 10 years. This is the 1st time I have a complaint thats serious enough to make me reconsider shopping at your store. On December 26th, around 5pm I visited your store in the Downtown Area. Upon walking into this Ralphs, I was denied entry and harrassed by the security guards. They treated me as if I was a thief and a criminal! They claimed that my cycle bag was not permitted in the store! Please note, this is not the first time Ive shopped at this location with the same pack, after going to the gym. When I inquired why people with similar and bigger bags were permitted, they would not provide an answer. They refused to provide their names, and would not let me talk to a supervisor and or Manager. They then escorted me out of the store, denying me to make my purchase. I've never felt this threatened and harrassed in my entire life. I would of never expected this treament from one of your stores. I refuse to now shop at your store, when there are other options in the same vicinity.
It's one of the cleanest Ralph's around, staff could be a bit friendlier, maybe they need a raise or just find another job.
