RDU is my home aiport, alot I park outside usually at Fastpark. The airport has always been clean and easy to get in and out in a hurry. If I get to pick my time to fly out I love first thing in the morning as there's usually no lines or very little wait.

This is a small airport, but it is efficient and has everything that you will need before or after a flight. Parking is conveniently located across the building. Every airport worker that I have encountered is great!

DO NOT USE THIS AIRPORT. The bag check line is so long and the staff here are absolutely horrendous at their jobs my best friend missed a flight yesterday and if they can't get their act together hes going to miss this one too. Absolutely horrible service.

I love the RDU airport. It is my favorite in North Carolina. Their new terminals are up-to-date with new seats, charging areas and great food and shopping options. Parking is also easy and quick here too. Everything is modern and up-to-date and you can get in and out very easy. Good connecting and direct flight options for the price. Go here instead of Charlotte if you can swing it.

The airport is great; convenient and modern. Being a regional airport, it lacks direct flights to many other airports, however. Also, baggage claim is very slow, which is a major reason many travelers are reluctant to check their bags.

I go through this airport frequently and I m never disappointed. The TSA line never seems to be busy when I go, in fact no one was in line today when I went. It is normally always clean and they have a wide variety of places you can eat at. It s also an easily navigable airport.

RDU is just the right size airport for flying into. Rental car facilities are on the property, and it takes no more than 5 minutes to get to them. Security is usually not crowded and moved pretty fast. Have not tried any of the restaurants in it recently, though.

My flight was canceled and I was not notified until I arrived at the airport to board my flight. The employees that gave me the information about my flight were extremely rude and answered none of my questions. The ticket cancellation information I was given stated to be refunded after 14 business days and would not cover the cost of any flight that was available. I missed my child s first New Year s Eve because of the lack of customer service provided at this establishment. I also had items stolen from my checked bag that I noticed after my arrival at my destination. Horrible, horrible wasted time.

Took AA787 which was diverted to RDU from CLT in early May. We were stuck in a Customs Hall at Raleigh-Durham International Airport waiting over 3 HOURS to receive bags after 3 hours on ground because no staff to off load plane! 232 passengers! Terrible management and service!!!

RDU is my preferred airport. It is clean and easy to navigate through, especially since it is on the smaller side when it comes to airports. The only negative thing I have to say about the airport is that I believe they need additional TSA personnel during the holiday season and Mondays and Fridays to reduce the security wait times.

Small airport, very manageable but get to your fight early. I've only bad positive experiences except for one time when a piece of luggage was lost but my luggage was delivered to me within 12 hours. Overall it's a wonderful airport.

I got on a plane for the first time at RDU, and the experience went surprisingly smoothly. The airport is clean and modern, there's a good selection of restaurants, and the TSA agents were even friendly.

I had a six or seven hour layover at this airport. I require special assistance in the form of a wheelchair. Most of the time this service was too notch. However, I decided to have lunch in one of your restaurants. When I was done, I asked an employee to call for someone to assist me to the gate. No one one showed for an hour and at that point the manager got involved. They each called at least twice. I waited three hours. The manager then spotted an airport wheelchair sitting outside of the restaurant. He took it and helped me get to my gate. I commend him for this. I do not commend airport staff who made me wait three hours in terrible pain as the restaurant chairs were very hard. If it matters, I was flying Frontier. I hope no on else has to go through this.

As usual, moving walkways are not working in the new terminal and the bathrooms at baggage claim are the nastiest I ve ever seen. Each bag is coming up the beltway one every 15-20 ft. I m gonna have to start flying out of PTI! Baggage claim with American Airlines is also a joke anytime after 11:00pm, they can t decide what carousel they want to use and it takes forever!!!!

I live in the Triangle. Whenever I'm at an out-of-town airport (like Phily, ATL, Memphis, etc.) I wish I was back at RDU again. Clean and simple to navigate -- like a no bullsh*t airport. Flights are also pretty cheap since there are a lot of competing airlines. My only complaint is that, during busier times of the year, the arrivals pickup lane can get pretty backed up since it's only like 1 lane.

This is definitely one of my favorite airports that gets it. You don't feel rushed upon arrival, perhaps because it is adequately staffed. The layout is quite open and has a lot of natural livht which is almost calming. Love the ease of getting to the rental cars, too.

Nice airport. Not many travelers. Light traffic. Parking very light, especially the upper levels. Fewer and fewer cars as you move up a level, $10 per day, reasonable. I used stairs, stayed away from elevators. No lines at any of the self-service kiosk for all of the carriers. Didn't see any sanitizer or wipes next to the kiosk. So, have your own ready after use. Did see some near restrooms, but wasn't sure, since they were not labeled. They were numbered but not labeled. Later found out they are hand sanitizer dispensers. Security line: 5-7 people deep. Pace was not too slow, especially with physical distancing. I enjoy frequently traveling through RDU. Wish they had something else besides star buks(purposely misspelled).

I think this airport has become one of my favorites. It's so clean and well-ordered. Also, I love the restaurants and shops, one's that I love. Even a TSA agent in Boston told me that she adored RDU. I can only see it growing, and hopefully it won't become rundown.

We enjoy this airport. Small and not too crowded. Would like more destinations but that is all ready getting better with new AA flights to Boston!
Today we had an especially good experience. My daughter forgot her phone in the car! Sandra from TSA helped me get back the phone from the car and back to my kids without a worry or a hitch. Disaster diverted! We really appreciate her help!

Airport is fine but their "dog relief area" is basically the smoking area next to where the cabs line up in front of baggage claim. No bags in their holder but okay since I always bring my own.

Nice little airport when I travelled through from London to Charlotte. Living in Charlotte and dealing with our horrible airport, I may have to start driving to RDU more, so maybe add more parking. I will say the AA lounge there sucks, but that s not the airport s fault.

This is my home airport and it is great...except the new parking ticket machines suck. They have to have attendants stand out there to assist since they work so poorly. Why have the Skidata machines if you need a person to assist? Go back and get the old machines.

RDU and/or United Airlines need to get themselves together ! Have been flying here weekly for work for last couple of months and I have NOT ONCE left here on time! Currently sitting on a 4 hour delayed flight suffocating on a stuffy hot airplane because they boarded us, delayed the flight further, then turned off the air conditioning in 90+ degree weather. You've been warned. It's a sh*t show every Thursday afternoon. Come one, come all.

Clean, easy to access, decent food.
But moving walkways are frequently not running. Makes it difficult for disabled/ elderly people to get around the airport.

This airport has so much to offer to travelers. The security is efficient and appears to be affective. Once in the terminal area, the food options are varied in cuisine and price. My favorite is the Carolina Ale House. There are plenty of shops for books, electronics, snacks, and gifts. One of the nicest features of the airport is the seating. There is plenty of power outlets and the seats are arranged such that it's more comfortable. I'm always happy when RDU is one of the airports I need to fly through.
