Rainier Family Physical Therapy Review

As a massage therapist I have had several experiences with various physical therapy offices. Rainier Family Physical Therapy has an amazing upbeat atmosphere with an incredibly experienced team. There knowledge of Kinesio taping and fascial strain counterstrain technique has helped me quite a lot. I would highly recommend theI to anyone needing PT.

Rainier Family Physical Therapy is a comforting yet professional place to go for your PT needs. I chose them because they were close to my home, but now I would choose them because they have been really helpful and kind and thorough in my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone needing any kind of PT. Thank you Emily and the rest of the staff for helping me to cope with my neck and shoulder pain.

I highly recommend the therapists here. Their concern is for the whole person and how they can best treat each injury. I have seen them for two separate injuries, and have referred several family members for treatment as well. When I had a balance due to insurance concerns, we stayed in positive contact until it could be paid. I was so impressed with both their patient care and their business practices that I have since offered my skills and they have since hired me for assistance in my area of expertise.

Best Physical Therapy I've ever used! I'm a retired disabled Veteran that's tried a lot of different therapy to relieve pain from a career of body abuse. I tried 4 different physical therapy offices around Puyallup before landing at the Rainier familiy team. This team knows what they are doing and understands what makes the body hurt and they know how to fix it... If you're not using them you're wasting your time! If you can run... run there now. If you can't run don't worry they'll get you running! No joke they are the best.

I have been going to Rainier Family Physical. therapy for 3 months now to rehabilitate my broken leg. Every time. I was really nervous to start P.T. because my injury site is so sensative and I knew the idea of P.T. was to get me using my leg again.

After my first visit I was sure I had found the right place. Every one is nice, knowledgeable, and always seem to be in a great mood.

I have come along ways from not being able to stand sensory input to being able to stand!

I highly recommend this place if you are in need of a great physical therapist!

I have been going to Rainier Family PT for a couple years now and currently, to relieve shoulder stiffness and pain. They are a caring and compassionate group of therapists that teach you about your body along with help heal you from your past or present injuries. It's local,plus very family friendly, and they have always made me feel right at home and comfortable! I recommend them to all my family and friends!

I had around 10 sessions of physical therapy with Rainier Family PT until my back problems decreased to the point where I didn't require any additional PT. I enjoyed my sessions at Rainier. Unlike other physical therapists, the treatment was gentle and yet also rigorous and highly beneficial. Sometimes I felt like the minor adjustments a therapist made to my spine didn't amount to much. But the pain relief and a greater range of motion I experienced proved my assumptions wrong. Everyone there is friendly and helpful, which helped to earn my five-star rating.

This is a great PT clinic. All the therapists are very nice and they get great results. I highly recommend them!

After undergoing ACL reconstructive knee and meniscus surgery I knew physical therapy was in my immediate future. I did a lot of research both online and with friends who had undergone physical therapy after these procedures. Virtually all of them cringed about how painful and difficult physical therapy was for them.

Rainier Family immediately put me at ease. They showed genuine concern for me and my injury. They were always cognizant of my pain threshold and would loosen an area before pushing me so pain never had a negative affect on my progress. They addressed not only my injured knee, but also the surrounding areas affecting the knee so that I could recover more quickly.

I was able to receive therapy from almost all of the staff and I have been amazed by the knowledge, experience, and education every one of them bring to the table. All of them are friendly and personable which allows for a very positive experience.

I highly recommend Rainier Family Physical Therapy if you need to recover from any type of injury or ailment. I promise it will be a terrific experience.

I would say that they do not care about giving care to the veterans. I was sent there by the VA for treatment. I was given 1 consultation and 2 visits. I was told from day 1 that when the last visit was done that they would automatically put in for additional visits which would be 12. I waited over 2 weeks after my last visit and called, the gal on the phone had no clue what I was talking about. Someone else called back and stated that they had not bothered to put in for extra visits. My wife explained the situation, the gal that called back said she was a vet and knew all about the program The problem there is that she knew nothing about the program till I did a quick " how it works" to her.

To put in for additional visits takes the following effort: Go to approved web site, click on form, fill out and click send. WOW, that's a lot of work !

So if your a veterans don't go there, your to much effort and work.

When my wife stated that if they could not put out the effort that we would go else where, they said " go ahead"

Updated Summer 2019- In Feb 2018 my husband & I entered the lotto drawing to run the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, DC as our son & my husband are both Marines. We trained all summer to be ready for the end of October race....with only 3 weeks to go I was running one evening and heard a snap/pop in my left hip. I thought for sure it was ALL over & was devastated. After waiting a few days to see how it was feeling I came to Rainier Family PT & asked if they could "fix me?" Minutes into meeting with them for the first time Kim's response was "I think we can get you back on the road in time for your race!" This was music to my ears!! Thanks to my "pit crew" (AKA Rainier Family PT) I was able to finish the 2018 marathon all within my goal. In early 2019 after recovering from the marathon I knew something was still wrong - I went to a hip specialist & was told I had a cam impingement & torn labrum. April 2019 I had hip surgery & was in Rainier Family PT office 5 days after surgery with no pain. Throughout the entire healing process I was in PT 3 days a week & my pit crew was there for me to help me once again enjoy my passion of running. Today 4 months after surgery I m now back to running 4-5 miles six days a week. in life again! Thank you again Kim, Susan & Katrina ...really EVERYONE at Rainier Family PT- I will send everyone I know to see you!!

Rainier Family Physical Therapy is the best physical therapy clinic in the Puyallup and Graham area. I have tried PT at other clinics all over the area and have never had results like I have at RFPT. All of the clincians are PHENOMENAL and the whole staff makes a point to learn everyone's name that walks in the door. If you need a physical therapy clinic, look no further. RFPT won't just leave you to do exercises by yourself. They will get hands on and treat the issue and get results!

BEST PT OFFICE AROUND! Everyone is super nice and fun! They are super hands on, way more then any other PT office I have been to. They get real results. Very happy with the care my family has received at this clinic. I highly recommend! They are very upfront with the treatment plan and what your insurance benefits are so there is no surprises!

The staff at Rainier Family PT treated my son after his concussion. He had cranial sacral therapy and facia therapy. He saw improvements after one treatment. The staff were engaging, accommodating, genuinely caring and helpful through his healing process that at times felt so helpless. When he started therapy he was having significant headaches daily that were keeping him from attending school and regular teenage activities. The program that they designed augmented his healing, and he made leaps and bounds of improvement over a short few months! I would and do highly recommend Rainier PT for my friends and family!

They did a thorough job with the initial examination and explainingi the process to begin recovering. I'm really looking forward to being well again.

They are money hungry and will only do payment plans on their terms! They made me apply for care credit after I said no! They garnished over 1000 dollars which is one months paycheck and I only owed $300!! Don t give these people your business!!! I had to go to food banks to feed my family after all the money they took! I almost didn t make rent!!
