Food was good and was fun for our kid. The staff was very friendly.
Food was good and was fun for our kid. The staff was very friendly.
Some employees were very rude but had a pretty good experience overall
We take our granddaughters there frequently, they love it! Great family experience. Grest food and service!
Love this place , I always have a great time here and the food is so good
Me and my children absolutely love the atmosphere in this place it's amazing and it makes the imagination go wild!
Always wonderful. Not only the kids love it but we, adults, enjoy it as well! The staff are always friendly, the food is good and the place is very fun!
My family and I had dinner here. I ordered the quinoa pasta with veggies and it was good. My 2 1/2 years old great nephew was all excited looking and listening at all the animals. Good place to visit if you have kids. :)
Simply exceptional. I had such a nice day with the family, fun, good food. The space is used a lot to celebrate birthdays. Very nice everything.
Waiter only came to our table twice (drink order, food order) then about 45 minutes later we saw him LEAVING. Never introduced a second waiter and we watched all of the tables surrounding ours that came in staggered from 30 minutes to an hour all get their food before us! Our appetizer took 20 minutes and our food didn't come out for another HOUR after that. Super disappointed this time.
Waiters and Drinks were amazing ! Food was OK . I wouldn t return here without my kids. Definitely a place to bring the kids for a night away as a treat . Also a Plus that it is right across the street from the beach .
Very long wait for seating. Drink was made wrong at bar. Food was delivered to the wrong table after another long wait. Server very unattentive. Food was good but not worth our wait and money. Enjoy the scenery and the gift shop. Items priced high for a name, but understandable. Build-a-bear station in gift shop and ride available for families with picture option.
Too expensive and, the food is not really that good
Always a fun place to go. Food and drinks were good.
What a great time. We took our granddaughter. Had a blast. Great food. Great atmosphere. Fun, entertaining ride.
No better place to have had Thanksgiving lunch with my little dude Ryu
Amazing did my reservation on the open table app and we were sitting on time. Also Donna was amazing waitress and provide great service!
Awesome service wonderful waiters & waitresses. Food was outstanding.
Very, very long wait. Good customer service. Okay food. Fun experience for younger kids.
My wife and I attended this Rainforest Cafe mid-August on a Monday, and found the place to be moderately busy but not hectic or rushed like expected. We were greeted quickly by our waiter, Dmitri, and ordered both signature drinks in souvenir cups as well as Coke (even though my wife is a Pepsi-purist). She had the Portofino Pasta, I had the BBQ Bacon Cheesburger. Oh my goodness, the food would've been worth the wait if it hadn't come so quickly! The Portofino smelled delicious right away, topping my wife's "meals this trip" list. My burger was great, exactly medium-well, and had amazing bbq sauce on it. Skip the ride, it isn't really worth the admission. The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent, Landry's has mastered theme restaurants. Remember you're going in for the atmosphere, not for world-class cuisine. That being said, it was still great. The only issue was the price, but the price for a one-time trip was alright.
Atmosphere is wonderful but the food was okay. Service and cleanliness of the restaurant gets a thumbs up!
One awesome place to eat.
There's a lazy river ride at the cafe you can do when waiting, it does cost to ride it. Recommend doing the lazy river ride,is about 8min ride and $7 dollars a person!!!
Overall was a good experience. Staff seemed very inexperienced though.
Fun fun atmosphere....for family time. You have to try the brownie volcano cake with ice cream
It was very nice and clean and the waiter was really understanding although the animals really scared my cousin when the "thunderstorm" happened.
This was the first time I have been and it was great
Good food, but overpriced. It took them an hour and 15 mins to bring our order for a party of 10
This place is pretty amazing. Everything there is very intricate detail. Try the strawberry mojito if you do dine there
Service poor, food very poor, waitng was crazy, and way over priced. That was a waste of time. I will not be back
Delicious food at a good price. My wife absolutely loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Very nice it is an environment like the jungle and there is a ride on some very beautiful rafts I recommend that they go well we only ate very good desserts
Limited menu right now. Fun adventures for the kids. Build a bear in the gift shop. Requires a mask during shopping and on the ride.
The service is AMAZING! The food is mediocre especially for the price. We have given them numerous tries and everytime the food doesnt impress. I give the service 5 stars! The staff is always awesome!
Good was awesome, but it was too low for me. With the waterfall next to us, and a gorilla, it was hard to talk across the table. I would return but only for the food.
Our very first time to eat at this restaurant and it was not a pleasant experience. We were not greeted with a smile or a welcome to the rainforest cafe, she just asked how many. The hostess looked as if she hated her job. We were quickly seated. The waitress also seemed to be in a slump as if she didn't like her job, no smile and didn't seem very friendly. None of the staff seemed like they liked their job or as if they wanted to be there, not one of them were smiling. They sang the birthday song to a young man but there was no excitement in it. The food was delicious. A pleasant experience starts with the staff and your staff should enjoy their job, not walk around like they just lost their phone or were grounded. The restaurant was clean, aquariums were beautiful, and the storms were a neat experience. The ride was down for maintenance.
My favorite restaurant is Rainforest Cafe. I ate there in Houston, Texas and Orlando, Florida. There are decorations with many wild animals and it looks like a rain forest. They serve soups, salads, pasta, burgers, and chicken. The price is a bit expensive. For example, a hamburger costs $ 20. Families with children go there.
I thought it was a very decent restaurant. The waiter was very kind and patient with us. And the food was delicious. Although, I didn't think it was that good to be very overpriced. Another downside is that its a very lengthy wait all around. It's not a horrible place, but I wouldn't suggest going if you do not have patience.
If it wasn't for the atmosphere it'd only be one star.
Delicious menu ... And very nice and nice place to eat with your family
It is a very beautiful place, and something natural "it feels like being inside that place
The grandkids loved it. I think it's interesting but way too loud for me. Not so much in the dining area which was just busy loud but in the "sales" area they were pumping in music at such a loud volume we couldn't hear each other speak. It was very annoying to me. I did enjoy the adventure ride and the volcano...although kind of charming was a bit a disappointment. Even the kiddos were like...that's all? LoL. Overall it's a very touristy destination and it must work because the place was packed to overflowing. I suggest making a reservation.
Absolutely awesome place! One of the best experiences I've had, the ambiant noise like birds was a little too loud for me. The food was amazing, waiter was very charismatic, and just everything was so cool! Also a wonderful place for children.
Atmosphere is great. Maybe not totally for some kids though
We didn't go for the food; we actually went for the Build-A-Bear/adventure. It was nice! The employees were outstanding! When my kids needed help, someone was always close by to help them. Their little questions were answered. Although they don't do the BAB (Build-A-Bear) events like actual stores, it's still worth every ounce of the experience! We WILL be back!
Our favorite weekly spot! Great for kids and the underground water ride is my child's favorite!
We took gkids. They loved the ride it was worth the price of admission. The food was good and kids meals were were enjoyed by all.
More for the kids a little expensive for the quality chicken was plain ans steak was ok but over all it was a decent experience
Service was very good, food was good. The animatronics were cute, my 22 mo old grandson loved the gorillas!!
Fun! Very campy and kitschy, but for a restaurant designed for children, the good was excellent and the wait staff was top notch. Customer service was excellent.
Service was excellent, food good. Enjoyable experience.
Our waiter josh was awesome!! Food was delicious...had a great time w my family.
A little "hit or miss" with the food; but, the kids enjoyed it.
Wonderful staff fun friendly family atmosphere for all ages
Great place to take the kids if you're visiting Galveston. A bar to the side for adults. BTW! That's where you will find the bathrooms. Every 30 mins the jungle animals activate and come alive to a frenzy of excitement. If you don't mind noise and crowds, this is a great place to visit. The prices are no different than any other restaurant on the beach, so prepare to pay a little extra. (*** Quick Tip*** Before you go, join Landry's Select Club) Appetizers, Full menu, kids menu. Try their signature "Volcano" for dessert. Pick up a souvenir, look at the built-in aquarium, build a bear, press a penny. After your meal head out front to feel the ocean breeze, watch the volcano erupt, go on a ride, get your picture drawn, or dance. A must-see at least once. Great for the family. Never boring! 5 stars!
