We went on fathers day. We even called ahead since we were a big party. Once we got there the hostess told us there was some misconfusion with our reservation we waited 15 extra minutes on top of our call ahead time. Once seated we all ordered alcoholic drinks with souvenir cups waitress never came to check to see if we needed refills, waited over an hour for our food when all other customers that came after us and ordered after us had gotten their food, once we got our food it WAS COLD, my moms steak was rare instead of well done, so we had to send the food back, the manager gave us a 15$ discount on our ticket. First time there Very DISAPPOINTED We spent over 250$ and i dont think it was worth it.

Me and the family went at about 5 pm on a Tuesday, the wait staff was very slow with drinks and any type of service period. While receiving our food the balloon guy showed up and was very pressuring about the kids getting balloons made. The food was very cold, and upon arrival of the manager she never apologized for the terrible service or cold food. The place is awesome as far as the setup, but everything else was terrible. All the family's food was cold and just simple, not worth the 16.00 taco salad. 0 stars

The low quality food wasn't worth the price or the make believe rainforest experience. My kids liked the ambiance, but weren't too thrilled about the food. Some in my party liked their food, but the Rasta Pasta dish was so bad that a TV chef could hardly make it worth two bites. And skip the Volcano desert. Buc-ees has better deserts for less, and you can probably buy a camping shower there too and better approximate a rain shower than this place.

I think I paid more for the atmosphere because the food was not good at all. The menu is small and the place itself is a little too dim. The cost for a party of 5 (3 of those children) $150 not including tip. Friendly staff, definitely call and make a reservation. My kids loved it so if I had to rate for them they d give 5 stars.

We did do the rainforest ride which was pretty cool, that was my favorite part that was another $28 but in my opinion worth it.

Thanks for the memories but the food is little too costly for me.

Enjoyable atmosphere,, family friendly,, kids seemed to have a lot of fun the times I've gone with my family. The little river ride is fun also,, especially if you have a bit of a wait for the dining room. The food is also quite good. For a family outing,, this is a good place to eat and build your own bear.

Crowded as they usually are..a bit expensive, food was slightly better than ok...chicken in fajitas was very dry. Got a Volcano desert and my international waitress didn't bring it out with any fanfare. Balloon guy came by the table and made balloon guitars although he expects tips which I didn't know until after he started. :/ Good experience overall but over rated and over priced.

Coconut shrimp was very good. Our waiter was nice and attentive. My kids loved this place. They also loved visiting the build a bear section in the gift shop. Go early to get seated. We went at 4:30 on a weekday. They are following covid protocols.

The atmosphere is where it's at here. The food was pretty good too. Prices are moderate and expected given the experience and the location (between $16-28 for most entrees). Our server was very attentive. We did not have a reservation so we had to walk up; the wait was about 45 minutes for a party of 8. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend, especially if you have younger children.

We love rainforest cafe and every time we come somewhere with one we stop. This particular location has a neat river ride for like 5 bucks and it is a safari themed river ride it is fun and the kids always like it. The food never disappoints and we always try something new. The gift shop is very nice a little over priced but it is a tourist attraction so what do you expect. The build a bear workshop in the gift shop is really nice and they tend to have different animals and clothing for the dolls versus the normal build a bear shops. So all in all this is a pricey stop but for a treat when out of town it is well worth it.

From the long wait from signing in & Service from our Waiter and for food we have options to to select:

Sorry Not Worth It!

I could have went to another Resturant and got WAY Overall Demand and Goods for $160.

I guess as a Landry Select Member for over 15yrs it time to seek elsewhere.

I would leave zero stars but can t. The wait was 1 he and 20 minutes. Our waiter was not very attentive and the food was not that great for the price. My fajitas were tasteless and the tortillas were disgusting. I was extremely disappointed. Will not come again and do not recommend this location.

I've always seen this place and never bother to go inside, always had other things on my mind when visiting Galveston. I am so glad I did this time. Great atmosphere, great helpful employees, and a wide variety of gifts, keepsakes, and food. Love it, you must go when your that way. You won't regret that you did. Love the huge aquarium!!

A great restaurants for families. The wait was kind of long but they have an indoor ride to help pass the time. Extensive gift shop and fun outdoor entertainment while you're waiting. My kid had a blast and there was good food options for her.

Was better than we expected but was expensive for what you get. The appetizer plate was okay, the spinach dip was barely warm and nothing melted. Ribs only three were tender but they were so extra. Server was okay no refill on my water and was a little hard to understand. The fish and chips were small pieces of fish and warm at best. Overall I think 3 stars is pushing it, but after 4 hours on the road I would've eaten anywhere. Nice that they were open, but a bit overpriced.

This location has always been a regular stop for us on frequent trips to Galveston. After today, it will no longer be. Our waiter was fantastic. I ordered a medium burger. It was funny red. Not pink. I asked the waiter to have it cooked longer. The cook came out several minutes later. He was rude and LOUD!! He squatted down to the table and rudely yelled some business about the temp and it was fine and asked if I wanted it well done... I said no he got up and left. Even the kids were talking about how he charged out of the kitchen at us and spoke so loud and rude to me.

A excellent decor, as the name suggests rainforest theme based restaurant with very mediocre food.
The good things first, restaurant is very nice and themed as other restaurants of the same name brand, there is a rainforest event like tropical thunder every 30 minutes.
The outside is nicely decorated with props waterfalls
The bad now- I wasn't expecting great food based on the reviews I read but had went for the experience yet the food quality really really upset me given the steep prices.
I asked for 2 appetizers and Main course side of Guac and after 20 mins got the side of Guac with no chips and nothing for another 15 mins, sitting with just a Guac I called upon our server and brought her attention to this and then we got everything including the main course at the same time..
Couldn't believe it anyway...
The pastalaya was cooked without salt, fried shrimps were dry, 3$ safari fries were ordinary.
Overall very unimpressed with the food.
I don't think I will come back to the place again
