This place is ok. It is a bit loud in here and dark. The food is pricey also. I did not like that the waiter did not explain that the mixed drink that came in the glass was also a souvenir glass and it was added to my bill.

This place was amazing every 30 minutes they have a thunderstorm which flickers on and off the lights and comes with the sound of thunderstorm the thunderstorm activates the animatronics they have gorillas and elephants and they start moving around.

This use to be a great place. But the staff sucks nowadays, my daughter's food was a tad spicy but to her it's hot and I let my waitress know and she's like well there's no seasonings on there's. Ooo I almost lost it.

Amazing service! We had a huge party and they were very timely with getting our orders out. The experience for friend's and family was really fun. The food was not very good for the price though. Shrimp steak and ribs had almost no seasoning. Also was tough. I expect a lot more out of a 30$ plate. Will only go back because the kids like it, definitely wont buy a fancey meal again.

Rainforest is where I usually go when I'm in Galveston. Food is good and I like to sit on a bench outside and watch people on the seawall and look at the water. Sometimes it's crowded, but that's part of the experience.

Fun place, go for the atmosphere / theme. Good for celebrating, with pyrotechnic deserts. Food is reasonable, but priced a little on the high side. We had a party of 10 on a Saturday night and had very good service.

Very very fun experience!! The wait was WELL WORTH IT!! I've never been to a Rainforest Cafe before, and I am SO GLAD we chose this to be the first one we visited! Looks super cool on both the outside and inside as it is rainforest themed. There's a gift shop you can go in and shop as soon as you walk in. Our waiter, Tyler B. was the nicest guy with THE BEST personality! He made us laugh the whole time. Food is pricey and not as good as I hoped, but not bad either. Every 30 minutes they do a little thunderstorm show which I thought was SUPER COOL! I will recomend them place to anyone who asks! Thank you guys for the best experience!

Staff need a refresher in customer service. Food was brought out quickly and was cooked well but was very bland. Price was quite high but given location it was expected. Had staff been better trained and more engaged, would have given another star.

Fun environment to dine with kids but you do pay a premium for the atmosphere. $20 main course prices add up quickly, consider sharing meals to keep the price down, serving are large enough to do it.

I went to location in Galveston, Texas and I must say the manger on shift Sunday evening was quite rude when asked could the fried shrimp we order come on because we never received them. She basically got rude and told us our services was not needed.

The food was ok but the service was terrible I sat throuh two rainstorms before we even got our salads (1hr) our bar drinks took forever and we waited so long to get our check and cash out at the end. I will never eat here again.

The Best experience ever! Long time fans of rainforest Cafe and when visiting Galveston Texas we saw they had one here. Our son is recently gluten free for health reasons and they were so accommodating. Chef came to our table and simply asked our 11 year old " what do you want" and they were able to make it happen. it has been so hard to find a place here that had gluten free options besides a garden salad. We can't say enough good things about this experience. It was truly exceptional!!!!

I went during the day with my girlfriend and we kind of just wondered around for a little bit. Certainly one of the most trafficked tourist places in Galveston however it's still a good one. If you have kids this place is perfect for you. Also I believe it's every 15 minutes they have a round of "crazy" things happen. i don't want to spoil it!

The atmosphere might be fun for kids, but I went more for the food and to check out the inside. The food was ok, I felt like it was frozen and reheated parts with some thai sauce and noodles thrown together. My drink, a Moscow Mule, tasted a little watered down as well.

Walking in the smell and store are you typical rain forest idea. The service and food however aren't the same at all. There is always that one franchise store that ruins the name and this is it. The service is very awkward and really rude. It's a inconvenience to ask for a refill or anything. Watching the employees walk circles, while nobody smiles and look so mad. I have been here many times while living on the island and the service is always the same. The food is never warm always room temp. For the price you pay you would expect more. Disappointing

Excellent service as usual! Manager on duty is always available and approaches to make sure you are happy. Servers are there when you need them and quick to take care of you. Food is always fresh and served hot. Overall a great family restaurant with a fun atmosphere! Def recommend the volcano dessert!

The steak was tough and not warm when it arrived. Otherwise it was a fun experience and the volcano dessert was wonderful, but make sure you have plenty to split it cause it's very rich and large.

Customer service was nice, I like the environment and the actual theme they have, I didn t liked every time they had this volcano cake they will go like: OHHHHHHHHHHHH, the first time it was cool, BUT IT WAS LIKE 30 times probably , food was good, need to improve on the taste.

Sadly I can't give them more than one star. The restaurant needs a major cleaning. The backs of the chairs and tables felt greasy and sticky from buildup. Our food was terrible. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and it came with shaved lunch meat that I'm 99% sure was turkey. When I questioned the waiter he went back to the kitchen to ask about it. He came back and said "That's our version of grilled chicken." Seems like that salad was $16.99-ridiculous! I don't mind paying for good food, but they are notorious for being way over priced for poor quality food. However, I would give them 5 stars for atmosphere if I could split this review. Watching the animals, waterfall and hearing the rain in the Rainforest is really fun! They also have a really fun jungle ride for $5.99 a person. I guess the environment is more what you pay for there since the food isn't good.
