Cute place to take the kids. Average food. Cool experience. My 8 and 4 year old enjoyed. Kid's meals only $6.99.

Great fun...so sad that it's spring break and we came here just to take the grandkids on the water ride...and it's not working...won't be back

So fun! Great food and service. Incredible atmosphere.. .the animals come alive and thunder with lights. ..boat ride. Big aquariums. Fun gift shop. We loved it!

Great place great food good service make the kids go crazy

1st time there....granted it was a Friday night, it was an hour and a half wait to be seated. There was live entertainment on the patio and an inexpensive float ride to be taken during the wait. The time passed quickly. The food was good and generous portions ....I had a burger and pretty sure it was a 1/2 pound patty. Wait staff was good and attentive. Gift shop was not over priced which is unusual , Galveston is a tourtist town. Overall had a great time.

A fun experience for lunch. So much going on around the entire room. It is like eating in the middle of the rainforest. The atmosphere was very lively, service was good, food was good. Prices are not too high. There were a lot of kids with their families, but it is a family place.

We didn't eat here but rode the ride inside. I thought it was a pretty cool attraction and our son loved it.

My fish and chips was generous and excellent! My wife ate something more interesting and loved it! It was fish tacos which were grilled and perfectly done. There was a sauce with it she really liked. The rainforest environment was fun for all of us! There were at least three aquariums and all sorts of jungle plants and animals. Some of the animals moved periodically. The lighting fit the environment too.

Food was ok,nothing special,but the atmosphere was kinda cool. A little pricey for me.

High price for mediocre food. Only the rainforest environment deserves 3 stars, not the food.

I was pleased that they were open Christmas day. I was able to enjoy the holiday with my chosen family that came to visit from Louisiana.

We always enjoy the fun environment at Rainforest Cafes! The food here was delicious, service was great too. This location is particularly pretty with a waterfall outside (and inside) and a ride that kids and grown ups can enjoy. The shop had lots for sale and we couldn't resist browsing. My daughter got some nice sunglasses (not tacky but quite nice) and the kids played a ducky game where there's a prize every time you play

Food service is slow. The food is mediocre at best. Prices are over inflated for what you get.

Food is tasteless and overpriced. Only thing I enjoy there is the river ride attraction.

This place is more for kids..i ordered a mixed drink that was over priced for my taste...the food was ok...

Burger was raw! Told waitress and she said nothing...Appetizer was good and daughter's steak was good, but avoid the burger unless your a vampire!

Very entertaining atmosphere, nice selection of apps and meals. Friendly staff and attentive service. Would try again.

I absolutely love this place. I suggest it to everyone. It's wonderful for kids.

This is a good place if you're a tourist looking for to eat somewhere with a fun atmosphere. On the pro side, plenty of sights, sounds, colors and animals. The kids will love it and it's even a welcomed break as an adult. The place is pretty clean and spaced out pretty well. On the cons, the food is probably what you would expect from a big chain. Not great, but okay. The service was pretty good, but the prices are kind of steep for what you get.

The food and service was very good as it was the other times we have been here. My niece has a severe allergy to shellfish and the head chef came out to personally take and make her order to ensure it was safe for her. Our waitress was also very attentive and nice. We all love the atmosphere of this establishment as we have never experienced anything like it anywhere else.

HI DAD! My dad works here. I'm biased. He's kind of a big deal to me and all. Anyway, it's a really nice location and the cool features and fishtanks are amazing. Awesome for kids and adults.

Me and my wife loved eating and shopping here. If you live more inland in America and eat burgers and fries and chicken like we do then I recommend going here.

Great 1st time experience a little bet pricey but great overall

This was my first time eating here. The food was delicious. I love the theme! I am the kind of person that likes to separate my food, they happily accommodated my request. The wait was not terrible due to the adventure ride. I will be back!

It was an hour and a half hour wait. The food was not so good. I ordered the Rasta Pasta and the chicken was tough.

The staff was really friendly to our group and the food was great. A little pricey but they need to for the amazing scenery around the table

This place has an excellent atmosphere and surprisingly excellent food at a reasonable price especially considering the ambience of the place. The steak ribs and shrimp entree were spectacular

The food was cold when it came out. Service wasn't the best. And then they tried to sale me a rewards card making it really uncomfortable. The music was extremely loud distrating there was too mucj going on at once. I had so many high expectations for here this was my first and last time. Very disappointed.

Extremely busy and crowded. The hostess wasn't very friendly. We ended up leaving without getting anything.

This place is great. If you've never been you should go at least once. The food is good, a little over priced. But its really for the kids, my daughter (5) had a blast. Every 10min the animals move around every 30min there's a thunderstorm... really cool. The gift shop is fun. Call ahead so you dont have to wait in line (about an hour). Good service, good food. All in all, we will be back. Good times

How do u give it less than 1star?!! Worst experience ever..not only did we wait three hours for a table.. the manager anton or whatever was so rude and blamed my child when he found something in his food.. smh my son didn t even eat because of that.. he didn t offer to take it off nor remake it.. smh.. and was so unprofessional!!! The server wasn t even good.. the food was horrible!! Smdh!! Calling corporate everyday til they make it right!!

Place was great a few years ago, but it went downhill fast. Wait times are terrible and the staff has become rude. Shame, it started out so good. It's become a trap now that is only interested in entertaining tourists.

We got seated pretty quickly and our food arrived about 15-20 minutes after. Everyone enjoyed there meal however my fries were cold. I loved the strawberry lemonade! Very neat when the animals come alive. Neat place to visit! Will visit again and hopefully get hot fries next time.

The service was great even while they were very busy. There was a 3 and a half hour wait. So make sure to make reservations, that's the only thing that saved us. I did not get to explore the restaurant because the little ones were afraid of the animals. But what we saw was really nice. The food was good and they do a thunderstorm show every 30 minutes. Overall very nice experience for kids that love animals and nature.

The place looks good but my server was only there a few times and didn't really give us time to talk and when we needed her she was nowhere to be found. The food felt like it took far too long and when we got the food my girlfriend food was just far to sweet and mine was salty and for the price I paid it was not worth it.

Nice venue for the family! Even had a build-a-bear shop. But you must try the rainforest adventure ride if you go!

Good burgers, and the most fabulous place you've ever seen before. The river ride is the best ride you will be on that is pretty much accurate to the rainforest.

Liked the boat ride. The food proportion size for the price was extremely disappointing. We shall not be returning.

Great little underground ride. If you go there make sure you get on this ride, your kids will love it!
