Since they downsized because of Covid, there is no longer any value forthe price charged. Also needs training in social distancing. $20.00 for Fish and Chips uou would think you could st least get Codfish, not it is some kind of whitefish. High price gast food quality. Stay rich Mr. Owner!

Extremely fun atmosphere for the kids. Food was good and very pricey I might add. My Chicken Fried Chicken was great. Served hot & crispy with creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. All round good food for those at our table.

The food was okay. It was my first time visiting. My tastebuds where on high with everything i tried. The sauce on the flatbread we had tasted like a pizza joints. The rotisserie chicken i had tasted of nothing but rosemary. To me it tasted overpowering. And coleslaw had a citrus taste.

We arrived and were first in line to be seated. The Hostess was dealing with another customer. Which is fine but they left us standing there for several minutes without any acknowledgement. We were seated in an area that was off to the side and was far from what I would call a prime table even though the restaurant was not busy. The food was good overall ( as expected with the Landry's property). But the french fries were terrible. The Ambiance of the restaurant was pretty neat. Like being in a rainforest. Would I return...... Maybe.

The food was great. Once we finally got a table. Had ana hr and a half wait during which, they had at least 10 to 15 empty, cleaned tables that even had silverware in place. But management must not be capable of managing. But service was great and food was great.

Brought my bother in law and his family here for my niece's birthday and we had a blast. I got my niece and I matching bears from Build A Bear, ate some of the best food on the island at the cafe, and then took a leisurely ride through the rain forest on the Adventure Ride. Be ready to spend time here because before you know it you've spent hours doing all the stuff they have available.

It is a great atmosphere. I give it 4 stars because I didn't not like my dish. It was too bland. Its pricey so bring your wallet. $118 for 4 people with one of them ordering from a kids menu.

Great place to visit in Galveston. Food is good, really recommend their fish tacos & for kids, mines are in love with their mini hotdogs. Our favorite part overall is their River Adventure ride, it's a small short ride but my kids really enjoy it.

Good place to eat with a family fun atmosphere. It's pricey as all of Fertitta's establishments are. It would be nice to not have to save up too have fun, but that's greed for ya.

Outside of the cost I would recommend.

Entertainment was good but ordered the lost city trio and it was a bust.
They ruined a good steak with a sorry tasting sause that was uneatable. The shrimp had some kind of ugly tasting oil on it that again was uneatable.
My wife's chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes were good. This is the only reason I gave it two stars.

Can't say enough about rainforest food was great the server was great by the time we went to go take the tour the lady didn't give us a chance to adjust ourselves to get a picture and she was quite rude then when you go to buy the picture you're standing at 1 instead of them having a sign saying no you got to go to help you that's not very organization at all

My friends pasta tasted like lean cuisine and was ridiculously overpriced at 21 dollars. My food was okay not great. The drinks were the best part. Was promised an ice cream Sunday for my birthday treat and never received it.

Curious place with jungle decoration, even the roof is covered with leaves and branches that cover it giving a feeling of being enclosed. The groups of animals very well achieved and every time they make their characteristic sounds. Every 10 or 15 minutes a storm is simulated with thunder and lightning.
The food is fine and to emphasize the dessert, Volcano ... an experience ask for it.

I'm giving this place 4 stars because our server was amazing. He was extremely polite and very attentive. I wish I could remember his name. Because he deserves 5 stars. The food is just ok. And I would give it a 3. We started with the nachos which were pretty good. But my salad definitely was not the freshest I've ever had. I had to pick out quite a bit of old lettuce. I also asked for no green onions, and they were everywhere. And the mandarin oranges looked a little smashed. The chicken on the salad was good tho. My husband ordered the Chicken Chimi-cha-chas. He said they were alright. But were served with brown guacamole. Overall, you definitely go here to experience the atmosphere, not so much the food.

Its Rainforest Cafe it's going to be over priced but when you pay that much money for a well done steak I would actully want it well done, not bright pink. The waiter didn't make any effort to help at all. The restuarant is always wonderful looking though.

My family and I loved it personally. That day with us we took our pet. A very quiet chihuahua in my bag. The staff at Hay noticed that she was coming with me and they let us through with her. That same day another person entered with his pet that was very large. In the same way he entered. Almost no restaurant would allow something like that. This if as long as the pets are silent .. I was delighted with this restaurant ... I highly recommend it ..

Really fun place with a rainforest them. There is a ride inside, gift shop and some fish tanks. The dining area is cool too with the different things going on. Really family fun place to bring the kids. Prices are reasonable and the service and experience is great.

Hated the really long hour wait.

I bought the BLUE CORONARITA thinking it was a souvenir glass option which it was not please update your drink menu so nobody is confused about this drink

We had the best first experience, our waiter Sergio was so nice and funny. He gave advice on what foods to get and his choices were very outstanding. We differently will come back on our next trip to Galveston.

Waiter was great. Food was so-so. Chicken in the chicken sandwich was very dry. Menu selection was greatly reduced. I understand about Covid, but if you reduce your menu, what is left should be great. Animatronics need repairs. Ripped and jerky movements on the ride make it scary in an unintended way.

This is the second Rainforest Cafe and it was as entertaining as the one in Dallas. The service and dining experience was excellent and the food was outstanding. Dining under a jungle canopy complete with animal noises and thunderstorms is just awesome! Our waiter was timely and attentive and very friendly. Side note... If you have kids over the age of 10 then skip the kids menu and get a regular plate. The child portions seem woefully inadequate. All in all a great dining experience, especially if you want more than just a table to stuff your face at.

Almost everything was great. The only problem was something that can easily be fixed. The tortilla on my second taco was so hard to bite through whereas the first one was perfectly fine everything else from the ride to the waitress was great. Would definitely eat here again.

This is a typical Rainforest restaurant, the "jungle" ambiance is just awesome and very unique, even outside the restaurant they have a very colorful "volcano" simulation, with great sound and special effects. If you take the optional jungle tour inside, it can be fun for the little kids. We went there on a Friday night, so the place was very crowded, despite the fact that is a very big restaurant. You may have a long wait before being seated. I like seafood, but the dish I ordered was only so-so. My daughter wasn't too excited about hers either. They also have the typical burgers, salads and sandwiches if you don't want seafood. Overall, I recommend going to this place for the unique atmosphere and decor, but maybe not so much for the food.

Food is okay but over-priced. Service was good. The animatronic animals are dated & fake foliage very dusty. The lighting is very dark. But a fun experience for the kids. Worth it for a one-time experience.

First time there. Was a 20 min wait as a rewards member, which was fine. Manager brought us our drinks and took our order. Our waiter had food brought out by others. Only came by twice to ask if we needed anything. Poor quality, overpriced food. Save your money. Glad I didn't bring my two youngest kiddos. Disappointing. The underground lazy river ride was the best part

The food was good; the waiter was excellent considering the chaos and overstimulation that you have to endure since the Rainforest Cafe is a noisy plastic jungle, but the kids had fun, and it is an experience that you have to "enjoy" at least once.
