This is probably the best amusement park you'll find in New Zealand. However, it's honestly quite small compared to theme parks in other countries. Most of the attractions have a long line when it's busy, however, it is definitely worth the wait! The Kidz Kingdom is great for small kids and the main park is fantastic for older kids and teens, also a great date spot if you're looking for a exciting day out.

i went to rainbows end a few years back and had to lay a complaint because a safety check wasnt done and i felt unsafe and when i told the staff member i got verbally abused.
then i got offered free tickets by a manager.. i told him i will not be returning and all he did was laugh at me.
i then left it but a day or 2 later i ended up getting text messages from the staff there saying i was to fat to fit on the rides. so not only did i get laughed at by the manger which was truly unprofessional i also somehow had my info handed out and got abused by the staff! i missed out on my nieces 7th birthday because i swore never to go back, not only that half my family didnt go because of what happened to me...its about 3 years later now, im 35kgs lighter and its a mates birthday and she wants to go to rainbows end.. lets hope this time i dnt get abused and i have a good time!

It's an OK place... They need to put few more rides in or bring the cost down. We went yesterday and the motion cinema wasn't on as getting upgraded and pirate ship has been taken down and the roller coaster is not that great anymore.....

So much family fun, went here with my kids and had a really fun day. Staffs are very helpful. It just disappointing becuase " The Big 5" is close due to high winds, so when plan your trip to here and make sure to go here when the weather is really good to maximize the attractions.

A little bit smaller than I thought, however, a good park.
The rollercoaster is really small and they waste too much time loading and unloading the riders. It will be so much fun if they allow the riders to do two rides as it last less than one minute.
Fear fall and stratosfear are the greatest, if you need an adrenaline rush.
Plenty of options for kids, and some rides lower the minimum height to 80cm if they go with an adult.
Lockers are $ 10 NZD per day and you need notes (exact amount) but honestly, you don't need them. Every ride has a place to put your valuables, loose items and even your backpacks.

EXPENSIVE!!! They rob you blind for EVERYTHING. For 1 adult and 2 kids we spent well over $200.
Multiple rides were closed for maintenance or other reasons (no discounted price)
The car park is atrocious. HUGE pot holes and muddy gravel.
BUT.... we always have an amazing time! So much fun for the kids.

A bit overpriced and the place is getting a bit run down. It could do with a new coat paint around the place. After you get over that fact that the place doesn't look like much and actually go on some rides it gets a lot better. It's no dreamworld, but it's definitely a lot of fun for the whole family.

Auckland biggest and only theme park. Good for kids. It can't compare to Disneyland or Universal Studios but your kids will enjoy it. Your kids won't enjoy NZ main attraction, stunning scenery and beautiful lakes.

It's no Disneyland - but the kids still love it. The new (to be honest, I don't know how new) under 5 section it a great addition. And the classic rides from my childhood are still going strong. A bit pricey, so check out GrabOne before you go as there are often deals.

Can be very expensive wouldn't go here to often and I don't think spectators should have to pay as they are usually just keeping an eye on their children. The kids did complain about the long waits in line but happy once on the ride. A must do when in Auckland
