Absolutely love this bistro, the decor, the attention to detail but especially the food! As a person who cannot eat gluten, I was like a kid in a candy shop here! Absolutely everything in the menu is gluten free!! Amazing!!
The portion sizes are generous and good value for money, my only disappointment was that after having a delicious starter and main meal I had no room left for a pudding! They all sounded so nice and I look forward to going back to be able to try some next time!
Highly recommend!

After the interaction I have just had with the so called owner all I can say is, what an arrogant, rude and very unprofessional manner this so called lady has in my opinion, I would suggest you can find better places to dine in George St and surrounding area and without the hostility...

Great little place with excellent food. It was great to know they had gluten free food there and the portions are great, you won't feel hungry afterwards. Plus staff was friendly and polite.

Very good food indeed, friendly staff, very pleasant all round. Gluten free menu but I am not a GF person and didn t notice, the rabbit pie and lamb rump were both really excellent. Nice beer on tap too, Curious Brew later and IPA. We ll be back for sure, a great find!

Delicious chicken escalope with a plentiful fresh salad. Very accommodating chef who agreed to serve us after they had just closed ! Thank you. Nice selection of wines, have recommended to my gluten free friend's for the fish and chips !

Rude, unwelcoming and pushy staff serving madly overpriced drinks with an extortionate minium card limit in place. Doing a disservice to the friendly atmosphere of the town during a festival weekend.

Very friendly staff, the food is outstanding, even on a busy day they always are friendly and nice to speak to about Hastings. Inside the restaurant it has got a lovely atmosphere inside and out, lovely for dogs as well, I would recommend people to go here for a family or couples

We had a great time there as everything was gluten free and tasty. The portion of main courses were really big. We were struggled to finished it. The only downside was my fish was not completely cooked and can tasted that it was not quite so fresh. Everything else was good, specially the desert! The fish and chips was good too.

4 of us booked and had lunch here on Sunday. Very good service and great food. As one of our group is celiac the real plus for us was, the understanding and full explanation of the menu by our waitress.
Great location too :)

Good but can do better. Staff have been excellent though. Good selection of day s specials but menu was a bit disappointing. Dishes were generous but not as tasty as expected from the reviews I have read. It is ok for the price.

Second visit to this awesome restaurant, this time we brought a couple of family members who (like us) are very particular about what they eat. They loved it, too! All the food is certified gluten free so I can eat anything on the menu. Making meals without gluten removes none of the scrumptiousness. If you visit our Old Town, Hastings, give Radley's freshly-cooked menu a try.

Absolutely lovely! We went today after a recommendation that it was Coeliac UK accredited. The three photos are from the menu and tastewise all were outstanding. The pie was chock full of steak and delicious. All gluten free but not taste free! Everyone commented on how nice their dishes were. The host was polite, friendly and just plainly nice. I cannot recommend this place more highly for lovely gluten free food. 5 stars!

Excellent friendly place. One of the first questions they asked was whether we had any food intolerances, good to see this is a priority. The garlic mushrooms starter was delicious, not what I expected, but much better. Considered having it for dessert as well! Would definitely recommend, and will be visiting again.

Very pleased to find a restaurant that is completely gluten free. Very good food, for the first time in a long time I was able to have gluten free fish and chips (i was diagnosed Coeliac two years ago) which were excellent, the beef bourginion was also gorgeous, which my mate had. It was quite busy which meant the speed of service was a bit drawn out, a minor frustration for our friends who had a long drive. We appreciated that the food was all cooked to order which was fine, the delay was just the volume of customer's entering later on in the evening, nevertheless highly recommended especially if you have wheat intolerance.

Me and my Fiance are here on holiday and we decided to eat at Radley's last night after finding it online.
The building itself is so interesting, really lovely atmosphere!
We had a bit of a wait but we were warned about it first and we chose to wait.
As for the food...well well well worth waiting for! We had the marinated pork belly with mash, green veg and cider gravy. The presentation was so cute! It looked amazing and tasted even better! Its safe to say this was the best meal out we've had in a while.
The pork was well cooked, really tasty and well seasoned.
The service was so polite and friendly. The server had good knowledge of the food and drinks available and was able to tell us anything we asked.
I would highly recommend that if you are in or around Hastings come and eat here! You will enjoy a delicious meal in a lovely atmosphere.
Thank you Radley's!

Quality locally sourced ingredients and a cosy setting on George Street. However, the chickpea and halloumi burger was a bit dry and needed some more flavour. I had expected better tasting food. Low 4.

Fabulous meal and what a bonus for me; I am Gluten intolerant and ALL the desserts are gluten free so for the first time for years I could have Sticky Toffee Pudding and in spite of being full I did. Scrumptious. We will be back.

Top marks for Radleys, found in the quaint George Street of old town of Hastings. I have been several times, excellent food & a warm welcome guaranteed, all cooked from fresh to order. But the best bit about this restaurant is the time and consideration that they take to cater for those who have high allergies or dietary requirements. Not an easy task to find a restaurant where I know my friends are safe & can relax with peace of mind.

Fantastic, fantastic place. I have coeliac disease but the rest of our party of four eat gluten. The whole menu is gluten free and they were all more than happy with their dishes; even saying they didn t notice it didn t contain gluten! I had the chicken burger with brioche buns - the best burger I ve had since being diagnosed. We really wanted dessert but the generous portions didn t leave space. Might have to go back tomorrow for a dessert lunch...! Thank you, from a very happy coeliac.

Fantastic!! A coeliac's dream restaurant. Everything gluten free and plenty of choice - trad roast, vegetarian, fish and chips ... and wonderful puddings !! I'm NOT a coeliac and I will eat here again next time I am in Hastings - the service and the food are simply superb!

Absolutely delightful place to eat, with lovely food (locally sourced) and local ales as well as the usual selection.
We went for a birthday celebration, and after initially walking past because we couldn't see fish on the menu, spotted that they have so much fish it's on a separate board! Plumped for the turbot which we've never had before, after discussing its merits with the owner (who also runs with spaniels - a good sign), and because we don't typically eat a lot each, and they had just one turbot but a big one, they made a meal for two at a very good price.
Saxon pale ale for me (tastes just like a commercial lager only with some subtle fragrances which is why I don't like the commercial beers so much), an excellent accompaniment.
Word of warning - the signage to get you in is not so good. Don't walk by, it's superb and really worth a visit!

George Street is terrific but sometimes the restaurants are just a bit too lively to sit and chat. Radley's was less busy than other venues nearby but it didn't deserve to be. The owners are clearly passionate about what they do and the food and service were great. We both ate fish which is especially good and we didn't select the restaurant because of it's gluten free status but this must be a god send for people who are intolerant.

Absolutely brilliant in every respect ! Eight of us plus one toddler for a late Mothering Sunday lunch. Nothing was too much trouble even though the staff had obviously a very long day before we arrived. We were the last to leave, obviously well past the usual closing time but there was no hint of chucking us out. We will return!!!

Never felt so unwelcome sitting at an outside table. Rude staff make your business feel like a burden on them.
Try literally anywhere else on George St for a nice warm welcome, but not here

Loved it, food is wonderful, and everything on the menu being gluten free is a great thing for my girlfriend, who can't eat any. This does not compromise taste, in fact those I have eaten with here feel that the batter on the fish (when having fish and chips) is easily the equal of any gluten-containing batter. I had a game pie (it was a special that day) and the pastry was delicious, with the meat cooked just right.

Great choice of gluten free food. But staff were very rude . Think the lady was the owner who was pulling faces at us and a family with young children as they were making noise .as children do . Would give it a miss

We had dinner last night at Radleys which we learned was a husband (chef) and wife (front of house) operation. It was terrific. After wonderful starters of prawns tempura, gruyere and pear tartlet and an order of onion rings to share, we followed with skate in brown butter. The food was simply wonderful, perfectly cooked and simply presented. If I have one criticism it is that the owners are too generous. We had no room for dessert. The surprise of the evening was that everything is gluten free. That is no issue for us but it is good for people with problems with wheat products. The wine list is good and reasonably priced. In sum, it was lovely eating in a family owned and run restaurant. Very French provincial in the best possible way. I hope to return when next in Hastings.

this little place tucked away in Hastings old town gives a comfy small venue feel. the menu consisting of an entirely gluten free menu means it's an easy choice with anyone with gluten allergies. the menu gives a varied aray of choice and all food that arrived was piping hot. a massive selection of wines and drinks are available and staff were friendly and attentive to the customers. price was reasonable for what you got and quality of food was good.
