Always good to come here .
Great rooms to great service.
Great breakfast.
You get a really nice view from the top! And its free to take the elevator.
Nice hotel. In need of a new look in the lobby area.
If visiting Oslo for a work visit, it is the best place to stay.
Short-walk away from the financial district and excellent connectivity to the airport.
The service was top notch (expected from Radisson Blu), the hotel has a fantastic view of the city and the roof top bar is a great experience in itself.
Was given a free upgrade to a higher floor without asking for one (brownie points for that)
The breakfasts buffet spread is large and fresh, special mention to the wonderful pancakes and french toast which were cooked to perfection.
In a very convenient central location, the renovated rooms are nice, but you might have to pay extra for an upgrade. The restaurant has awesome views, the pool is a little small and cold, the gym doesn't even have a yoga matt. However for the price, especially for Norway, it's really good value!
Huge hotel. Quite nice anyhow. Friendly service. Good rooms also, bar, pub, restaurants also close. Location... Well could be better, but the city isn't so big...
Nice rooms with good beds. Good breakfast which is definitely worth the money.
This is the fifth time I live here and the staff are always nice and helpful.
The bar on the 34th floor has bartenders with good knowledge and makes good cocktails. Maybe a bit stiff for liquor that's in vogue.
Also located right by the train station and is always a taxi to find right outside.
All in all, a very good hotel that I can stay at many times.
There is only one thing to say about this hotel: Perfect.
The view, breakfast in room, dinner at the skybar, parking vallet, nice and helpful staff, great room with a big and comfy bed(superior room on 32. floor).
Stayed in a newly renovated room, and it was OK, but some of the new features are a little odd for a normal traveller. The room service menu shown on the TV was wrong - wrong items and wrong prices! Hopefully this place has improved since our stay as more of the refurbishment should have been completed.
Friendly English speaking staff made check in a breeze. Rooms clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. Excellent restaurant and food. Located near the central train station making it easy to explore Norway.
Hotel is average. The breakfast staff is very courteous and nice and so are the staff at the roof top restaurant and in the Irish bar. Rooms are average. The views are no great shakes. So save your money and just book the normal city views.
Very clean, despite downtown location quiet and breakfast is very good.
Excellent service staff excellent speak fluent English and excellent location close to all shopping centers, sea and restaurants
Very good classic drinks in the rooftop bar, and the view over Oslo is breathtaking!
Oslo Plaza, as it's commonly know as, is certainly one of the more recognizable landmarks in Oslo, standing tall over almost every other building the city has to offer. As such, the view is obviously spectacular from any room above the 20th floor, and the Skybar is well worth a visit, even if you don't actually stay at the hotel. And there ARE reasons not to stay there as well...
The hotel is large, thus it lacks any hint of that personal touch is, well... non-present. With so many a cogs in motion every day, there is always a risk of small messages not making it through the chain of command, so special wishes, orders or needs, might be left unfulfilled.
The hotel is quite expensive. Granted, you get what you pay for when we're talking suites and such, but you can find just as good a room elsewhere in Oslo for far less money. The view tho...
Why 4 stars then? Well the placement is rather great, the view spectacular, the sheer feeling of luxury was hard to rival l, that is until The Thief came along (see other review). The concierge. Wow, does that guy know his way around, so use THAT knowledge to add an advantage to your exploration of Oslo. Can't really put a price on that (but try anyway, tip the man). Enjoy your stay!
Nice lobby, the rooms are modern and the location isn't too bad. However, I had two separate rooms and both of these were lacking tremendously in terms of cleanliness.
The newly renovated rooms are great, but the rest of the hotel is still outdated...
Very good service and good bed. But slightly in excess expensive.
Hotel is a bit of old but comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the location is excellent.
Fanatic view to mega good restaurant and bar on upper floor
Ok business hotel. Best thing is the sauna on the top floor that offers views on Oslo
Reception is very good with nice professional service.
Breakfast is absolutely fantastic, it is pure tasteful and the wait staff is very service minded.
In general, the lobby bar and facilities are clean well looked after and very welcome
Some worn rooms and bathrooms eventually. But the view is great!
Worst resturant food I've eaten. Rude operation steers away!
Very welcoming and gentle at reception, clean and nice rooms. This combined with excellent location and good prices makes this a hotel one can absolutely recommend.
Fine hotel , with central location. It's close to Oslo city shopping , and public transportation. The rooms is modern and had more space than I expected. The bathroom was also in good condition. We got a bathtub. In all I recommend this hotel . You will get the amazing view.
There is a underground car park for those who have car. But it's expensive. The best way is by public transportation
Unauthorized credit card transaction made by the hotel, extremely loud rooms during the day and night, poor room cleaning including no coffee re-charged every day, no sugar, no cups for the coffee and not even a spoon! The staff has mistaken my invoice and I was supposed to explain them so many time that I really got frustrated. Will never come back or suggest!
I love Oslo and I love the Radisson Plaza :-)
It was already the 5th time I visited the Radisson Plaza hotel in Oslo. Because I m learning Norwegian, I always try to check-in in Norwegian instead of English. It was not so busy so there was time for some small talk at the check-in desk. The friendly receptionist was very interested in my travel story and, although I booked a standard room, I got a free upgrade to a business class room on a higher floor with excellent views over Oslo.
When I returned in my room after a while, I got a lovely personally written greeting card with some chocolates from the reception.
But this is a hotel review so...
The hotel itself? One word: Perfect.
Great rooms, good food, excellent breakfast, a nice Irish pub and close to the station and to public transport.
I can t wait to go back to Oslo and my Plaza hotel
Great hotel, nice conference rooms but didn't seem like the waiter had complete control.
Central location, superb breakfast, friendly service.
Lovely modern elegant and comfortable rooms. Very central and convenient.
Reserve a room for 2 nights, 16 check-out, 18, arriving to check-in 17 in the morning, the staff told us to eat breakfast on the 17th, if they want to eat, have to add money. Both reserved for 2 days
After the complex Contact from the hotel, all means, offer refund of the difference or free dinner. The hotel is very responsible for what happened. Thank you very much thank you so much.
Nice hotel and great location! Especially I got the room next to this view. Winter has itself beauty and I love it.
My favorite hotel in Oslo. The rooms are great, usually with a good view. There is also a gym and swimming pool on the top floor. Breakfast is the best I ve had at a hotel. All this comes at a price however and you can expect to pay 40 euro per day for parking.
Excellent buffet, prime for City Center ok,
Rooms Are Standard Business
Location is great next to railway station and City Center. Try to get a room at higherfloors
Spacious rooms, rich breakfast buffet. I only stayed one night for work but everything was ok.
Great hotel. The newly refurbished rooms are really nice. If you get the chance, try the gym on the 37th floor, quite an experience.
Great breakfast with fresh salmon. Rooms are dated and comparatively small but the location is terrific. You can reach much on foot because you are very central. Staff at the front desk very courteous, Skybar was ignored, otherwise mostly everywhere friendly.
High quality rooms, decent WiFi, great breakfast, overall a classy place but not overly expensive
Internet is slower than my modem from 15 years ago. Fittings and furniture are a decade past their prime. Overall very dingy and worn look. OK for a nights sleep but for the price is completely unacceptable.
Very good hotel good crockery nice service good food.
The hotel has a number of amenities, is generally very clean, and conveniently close to the harbour and city centre. The staff have been polite, very helpful, and flexible in all regards (extra beds for small children, wrong minibar expenses, etc.)
The hotel breakfast, while plentiful and not short on local specialties, could have done with a little more finesse, esp. in the cooked section.
fresh room, lovely bed. Lacking a bathrobe when you wanted to go to the pool and sauna. Pig cold in the stairwell up to the pool. Good breakfast and food! But very forced, stressed and unfriendly staff in the restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner (where the conference). Not nice at all actually. So three and a half stars because of this.
From the moment you enter, you are greeted by helpful staff. The rooms are very comfortable. It's amazing that they managed a pool and a gym so neatly. Loved it.
Fantastic rooms on the high floors with a beautiful view. I would recommend! For this, a glass elevator with a view of the donkey
Great location and view !! Service was also nice !
Centrally located, clean, nice staff, beautiful view of Oslo
Large hotel, business oriented and very expensive. Views of the city are stunning though.
Security are rude. My kids are not happy anymore around them, as they were told to leave the hotel in a rude fashion.
Nice clean hotel based in the highest building in Oslo.
Very good service provided for us when putting up the stand. Lovely place with nice ambient feeling
Great hotel, with very friendly staff in reception / lobby area.
Call this hotel my second home Great rooms, nice room service, not too expensive, and those who work there make you feel welcome.
It's good by the arrangement of swimming pool it's not attractive
Great location. Hotel is a little dated. Breakfast was average. Many interesting characters passing by
It's good with pretty large standard rooms, complimentary swimming pool, sauna and fitness. Price quality level is good but not the best.
Not a good experience! Rooms are dirty and AC making unbearable noises. We had to change TWO rooms because of unjustifiable dirty bathrooms, floors and sheets. The third room was a little better but AC sounded like a primitive device. We took pictures and recorded our unpleasant experience ! Never again!!!
The best hotel if you want a good view.
The bar is in the top floor and the amazing view let you see all of Oslo
Plaza is Plaza .. You know what you get. Great service, great food, clean and great rooms. It never fails. Minus this time was littered outdoor space. Bar marked by wear and little focus around the entrance to the reception. Should have been upgraded.
Great hotel but a little rough neighborhood near train station.
