A fabulous hotel in a glorious setting. Friendly and helpful staff and a huge variety of restaurants to choose from - all serving excellent fare. I will definitely be going back here as soon as possible and would recommend it to anyone visiting Malta that would like a quiet, relaxing location to recharge batteries.

We had booked a photo shoot and paid in the hotel. We were supposed to pick up the stick - but the staff had gone home. We were promised, it comes by mail. To date, not there, on demand if you have a shipping document, no answer. I am writing tomorrow to Radisson Headquarters Blood.

2 nd stay in this hotel and we will come back. Some negative points but many more positives. There is something for everyone, and we meet all styles of tourists. You come across a week with regulars English and everything goes well in order, respect, cleanliness. You type a week with French, Italian and some Eastern countries under construction, and there is much less ....
As Sartre said, "hell is the ...." The hotel does not change.

Without any iota of doubt Radisson Blu Resort & Golden Sands Hotel is a mind blowing enviroment with friendly professional people.

First of all, the location which is set around what I personally the blue sea is second to non. It is a breathe taking experience for my wife and I. Our one bedroom with open plan fitted and fully furnished kitchen, three split balconies wasn't something we anticipated.

The entire "shiplike" building is iconic. Entertainment by professional musicians on every other day is very soulful and relaxing.

Oh! we've just returned to London and keep wondering if any of our future trip elsewhere can much the standards of this place. Breakfast and dinner (as we didn't have enough room to do lunch) comes with tail and tail of varieties of foods and drinks for one to choose. Trust me you will be spoiled with choice.
Facilities within the hotel itself is enough to engage and preoccupy through ones length of stay.
Even better, when one decides to become a member which we couldn't resist considering the vast benefits that comes with for decades.
So if you ask me, would I recommend this hotel, without a blink of an eye let alone a second thought, I say YES.
But wait a minute! don't take my word for it, try them yourself and you will join me to be a crusader of this lovely Hotel.

It's OK but has the potential to be great. Food; if you will eat anything then there will probably be enough variety for you. If you don't, the Al la carte options could be quite limited for you and expensive. Pebbles the beach bar had some of the nicest food. We never ate at the buffet, as every dish contained at least one ingredient we didn't like. Why is it so hard to offer plainly cooked options as well? That way we can add whatever sauce or other ingredients we want. Room was a converted twin, so nice living accommodation (we had a kitchenette with fridge & freezer), but a single bedside cabinet and light switches in the middle of the bed are kind of pants. Location appears well served by local transportation, seems to run late at night, so you can probably go elsewhere to eat or visit.

One of the best hotels in Malta.
The rooms are very large and the sea view is breathtaking.
The main restaurant is amazing especially if you like sea food and fish.

During the tour of the island I found myself in this place at lunchtime, so I only had lunch at one of the restaurants of this huge hotel overlooking the sea. The restaurant named "AgliOlio", is located at the bottom, near the beach and therefore the tables are laid out in a spartan way, I suppose to be able to have lunch in costume in summer ... but the food is good and the service is excellent ... there is she was a very helpful Sicilian waitress who was able to satisfy the demands of us Italians that we are a bit demanding about food. Since I was there I visited the Suites on the top floor for a possible future stay ... spectacular!

Regular guests here usually for a couple of weeks per year. This time just the one night to celebrate a family engagement, this was a lovely way to do so and everyone loved it. Henri is the backbone of guest services and makes everyone feel individually special. There's nothing negative to say about this fabulous place.

Staff could be rude genuinely, a bit of lack of courtesy - charity begins at home.
Yet they try their best though.
The rooms were spacious and neat.
Good space and several lounge's to chill out.
The warm weather was not welcoming to explore the beaches around.
I will visit again

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this large and imposing hotel overlooking a quiet(ish), scenic and sandy bay. The standard is all you would expect from a Radisson hotel and the mainly Maltese staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our 'country view' studio apartment was fine; comfortable, clean, all you'd need for basic self-catering (although the hotel offers plenty of restaurant eating options) with good room service. Only downside to these rooms is, they face north east, so get little or no direct sunshine. The view otherwise, overlooking a campsite and towards the nearby village of Manikata, is okay.
Malta public buses stop close by, where you could get a bus to most places on the island for 2 or less.
