What a holiday my wife and I have just had there .we have came home so relaxed the staff are absolutely brilliant friendly and can't do enough for us . It's that good we are going back in October.

A performance to suit the five-star staff with responsive and responsive room and spacious bathroom (choose sea view obviously) comfy bed restaurants for every budget private beach area with less affluence compared to the rest of Golden Sands, sun loungers and umbrellas without reservation, indoor and outdoor pool with sauna, wonderful view from the respectable size terrace of your room, impeccable cleanliness during my experience, activity for children.
Beautiful beach with sometimes a little algae and plastic brought by the current but not enough to spoil the bathing and the overall feeling for sure! Hotel highly recommended if your. Budget allows it.

Probably the best location in Malta if you are after a beach holiday. The hotel has large rooms and all possible facilities, but it's a expensive and the decor is a bit outdated (carpet everywhere and 90's furniture).

Top class resort ... great service ... service buttons on every umbrella by pool and beach for quick food and drinks service... Excellent restaurants all very good ... prices on the high side

Just back from this resort. It has the best disabled access apartment ever! The wardrobes and cupboards have rails and shelves that can be pulled down for easy access, the safe is at a level where you don't have lie flat on your stomach to access it and the bathroom is excellent. Golden Sands has a manager that is 'action man'!! If you raise an issue with the staff or let him know directly then if something can be done it will be done. No platitudes or excuses, if it is a genuine concern then something will be done. What a refreshing change. The weather was great, the staff, without exception, are all helpful and friendly. What more could anyone want?!

Missing some of the things you'd expect in a luxury resort. Kitchen in rooms Is virtually unusable. However, great views, the restaurants that were open were decent. I suspect a better experience in the summer

Resort staff are more than willing to make your stay in this 5 star complex something to remember. The rooms, food and weather are outstanding, my wife and I always look forward to returning here every year.

A very clean and modern hotel. The staff are very friendly and ready to help. The rooms are spacious with furnishings impressive.Overall, you can't fault this holel's quality. It is good for those wjo like their quietness as it is away from the city lfe, cloer to the see with beautiful views from all angle. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will visit again.

For the first time in twenty years radisson customers I feel really disappointed.

After we had a family meal with seventeen people, with an account of almost 400 euros, we had to pay another 20 euros parking-3 tickets EUR 8; 6; 6.

First from the Flavors restaurant they directed me to the reception for a parking ticket and from the reception they directed me to a machine to pay as normal as anyone who parked in Golden Bay.

I don t think this is proper customer service.

The receptionist tried to explain why we should pay.

1 parking is owned by someone else
2 there should be enough parking for residents

Frankly I who came 4 hours to eat didn t really see any valid reasons.

Even if you go to eat a piece of restaurant they also offer you parking or a subsidy let alone a hotel like yours.

I repeat that I never had half a word against the hotel but today I really did not pretend that we would have this issue.

We have been several times in the hotel over the last years and this was a disappointing visit. The quality of the room was not matching our booking (we opted for a queen size bed which comes with a more generously sized room and a bathroom with a walking shower - strangely this room is charged as much as a sampler size room with a double bed the hotel staff was insisting to be a king size one!) We were told our preferences do not have to be respected which felt very unprofessional especially when we are returning customers and come back with expectations on the level of comfort. The feeling is the hotel would take great care of newcomers who are being persuaded to buy timeshares but does it mean they are the only valued guests? Some signs also show decline, common areas like lobbies and corridors were not well ventilated: spa staff we knew from previous visits was all gone and also other staff from restaurants and reception shows great turnaround; some breakfast items disappeared. Most significantly, we had mould in the room and were swiftly moved to another room when we reported this but it is definitely not what one expected in a five star hotel with the super high summer rates. I doubt we would want to come back again although this is the only hotel at a nice location in Malta with a sandy beach (most Maltese beaches are rocky).

Just great place.

Just great place.
That's all I have to say about this.

I like.

This place was every bit of a great location with service and staff. We had a couple of hiccups but the rest was so awesome, i didn't take away any stars. We visited Malta in December which is offseason so the island and this hotel didn't seem as busy. The pools were not used, too cold. Our first room was right next door to a room that was being remodeled and the noise was unpleasant but when we talked to the front desk they relocated us to be much better suite. We ate a few times at the hotel and the food choices were wonderful. The hotel has a well stocked market that allows you to buy food that you can make in your room to save on eating. The location is a bit out of the way being on the Northwest side of the island but getting around in December to all parts of the island took little more that 40 mins at the most. It is closer to the ferry terminal that takes you to Gozo and the surrounding beaches are just breathtaking. Staff was lovely. I would definitely stay again.

Great

Food was superb and staff also very nice
Agliolio restaurant super nice view from there all was amazing

I am currently spending a couple of wellness days alone in this admittedly chic, but also a little aging hotel.
Fantastic location ...... great beach, great sea view, beautiful, spacious pool area.
So far so good.
You have to be clear from the outset that everything here is very British, and also largely designed for British vacationers. It's all pretty stiff and formal ..... the staff is friendly.
But I'm really upset about another situation.
I am here to do some treatments in the SPA. These treatments are very good ..... very high quality .... but also very expensive. That's ok ... you know the prices beforehand. What is very annoying and annoying is that the products used are almost forced upon you after each treatment ..... not 1 or 2 ... a whole battery full, you quickly end up with 400 or 500 euros.
If you decline with thanks, you are immediately good, half as friendly as before.
This behavior is a sales strategy and not at all appropriate for a 5 star hotel.
If you want to buy products, even though they are very overpriced, then you will announce that I think, but to be forced ..... and then you have to see that you get out of there ... that's not nice, before all very relaxing, because during the treatment you are already thinking about which one will get away with afterwards.
Spa is great, but unfortunately it's only designed to earn money from the products. A pity....
I've stayed in many 5 star hotels ...... unfortunately I've never seen it like this.
To eat. Breakfast buffet all 1st class ..... respect ... everything your heart desires .... very tasty .... the staff is friendly here (flavors). As for dinner in Flavors ..... themed buffets changing daily ..... the price of 29 euros is too expensive.
The in-room dining is pleasant ... also very nice staff.
All in all, a few nice days ... but unfortunately not only relaxing.

Regular haunt for us, try and visit outside of scout season in early August- their parties are aloud and don't stop way past 11pm! Scout camp is behind the hotel, try and get a room in the front if you must visit in early August.

As a wheelchair user although there is a lot of ramps and level access the rooms are definitely not wheelchair friendly if you cannot stand or walk. They finally found a room with a level access bathroom but shower door and toilet door are only just accessible being 24ins wide There are no grab rails or shower seat and I'm using a chair from the balcony. The resort itself is out on a limb with 2 beach bars all other restaurants are in the hotel. I have not tried to get to beach but have seen a beach wheelchair from the top if the hill The hills are very steep nice views from the top of the cliff but wouldn't stay here again. Miles to the nearest non hotel restaurants and quite a long way to attractions. Would not recommend to a full time wheelchair user the good thing all public buses are wheelchair accessible if you want to escape

Love this hotel, so do our children, we've been several times. Friendly staff, tasty food, clean rooms. Something they can develop, better entertainment for families such
as dancing and local theme nights. This would make the stay even more enjoyable.

This hotel is not of Malta s standards. This is quite exceptional and should satisfy all needs and quality of world class standards. Good food (good is difficult to find anywhere else than in Valletta), cleanliness, facilities, view, beach, staff, atmosphere. Top 5 in Malta for sure!

Amazing view + Great hospitality! The room is huge, comes with kitchenette, big balcony with view, big pool and nice gym! Also, there is a small shop where you can get the essential! Guest literally no need to leave the compound :)
There are different restaurants in the hotel that you can choose from, we didn t get bored from food selection after 1 week stay :)
