Radisson blu hotel cebu Review

Nice hotel great staff huge rooms. Little old fashion room decorations and furniture. Only food in the main restaurant is cold

I travel from the United States to Cebu every 2 years, the Radisson hotel is Excellent (with a capital E) - the accessibility to SM mall is less than 200 meters. The hotel is clean and specious with a professional staff. Executive suites are comfortable and specious. The buffet meals are international with a wide range of options. My trip to Cebu is not complete without a few nights stay at the Radisson Blu.

I had my wedding here this month and the food and venue was great! The ballroom is very nice. We requested some cocktails and those were really good too. We had an executive suite (for bride) and junior suite (for groom) both of which are HUUGE and were able to accommodate all the staff and entourage for the wedding. The suites came with business lounge access which was amazing!!! Denise (from the reception) and Miss Apple their events manager helped us with our room upgrade.

This is the best hotel in cebu city if you want a really nice wedding with the best food! Our guests had seconds even when they were on a diet!

Dont skip their breakfast buffet! Pool is also very nice.

Very good Hotel to stay in while in Cebu. Large clean rooms, delicious and varied food, nice entertainment, inviting lovely outdoor pool, reasonable prices and friendly professional staff make a stay here very pleasant.

The hotel has room provision for elderly /PWD guests which is very favorable for these guests requiring hand rails, wide space for wheelchair, etc. Wheel chair is always available. Personnel ate friendly & accommodating. Room is regularly kept clean, and amenities are very good & allergy-free. Thanks

Stayed here for a month a for business and every day was absolutley perfect. Staff was courteous, food was delicious, facilities were all immaculate.

Not a bad hotel, but in a bad location. If you like looking at container ports this is the place for you.

The hotel is definitely affordable AND luxurious!!! The location is PERFECT! SM City Mall is right at next door and it takes only 5 - 10 minutes by taxi to Pier 1, where the ferry goes to most of other islands (including Bohol). The staffs are very friendly and helpful. And don't miss the cocktails by the pool. The cocktails are great and super affordable. We drank like crazy during our stay.

The correspondence of the staff was good with the difference with other hotels. There is only a high price. SM Mall is 1 minute from the hotel lobby.

A year ago I left a 5 star rating for this hotel. It has been my go-to hotel whenever I visit Cebu. Today, though, i had a terrible experience. Hopefully, it was just a 'bad room'.

First, it seemed that they probably had a problem with this TV sets IR (remote), so, how do they fix it? About 6 inches of wire with an IR receiver soldered to it sticking out of the tv pointing towards the bedside.

Second, while the TV was working when I got to the room, when I returned in the late afternoon, it just showed NO SIGNAL. I referred it to maintenance on my way out for an event, but still showed the same thing on my return late evening. When I called to talk to their engineering, their reply was - they had to replace the digibox. No thank you, this is a one-night stay, it was late in the evening, I didn't need to stay up later for engineering to come up and replace the digibox.

Second, the room had a mildly unpleasant smell - considering that many people know my sense of smell is pretty low - I can assume this might have been intolerable for many.

Third, in spite of having the room AC set for 16 degrees and set to automatic (as opposed to off as the only setting), room temperature could only go to a level of comfortable. The ambient room temperature reading only 23 degrees and this was at night. It never got any better than that until the morning.

Fourth, we all know that getting hot water in the shower can sometimes take some time. Well, even at the hottest level and waiting five minutes (I clocked it), the water never got any hotter than very mildly warm. You couldn't even say it was lukewarm. And yes, I double checked by swinging the lever to the other end, and the water became very cold.

Now, I wasn't completely UNCOMFORTABLE. But even a 3 star hotel can do better than this. Again, "MAYBE" this was just a bad room and not reflective of the whole hotel.

On the other hand, the staff continue to be very pleasant and try to do their best. Everywhere smiles and greetings. But I can't change my rating for this particular stay from a 1 star.

Located near SM Cebu (not Seaside) so convenient for families and those staying for more than a few days. Service mostly good and has improved over recent visits. Rooms in general are great except for occassional odd smells or idiosyncracies.

The hotel equipment is perfect, the service staff are very kind, the breakfast is super rich~

Service and food have always been great each visit. One of the best places to be at in the city.

On the 21st September 2019 our parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary (Flo and Ted). Our Radisson Coordinator Ms Loraine Dela Torre went above and beyond in her service to all the families that presented on that night from around the world. We would sincerely like to thank her for her efforts from early communication, to seating and floral arrangements and even post the event when we needed to store items whilst we stayed at the Radisson. If you are looking for someone who pays attention to detail and wants something special for your event, you can't go past Loraine. Well done and a Very Very BIG THANKS. Its near the malls and foodie enthusiasts alike...most shops were a walk away, need not take public transport.

Always a great 4 star place to relax when in cebu. Massages are great but a little expensive

Poor customer service & loud construction. It takes forever to get ahold of front desk & there was a whole week where I could not get a good night sleep. I also smelled paint coming from the air vents... not healthy or safe

Ahhh. High-end convention hotel & more... it's lobby is artistically designed & decorated that provides a space for art exhibits, music lounge, conversation/waiting area for its clients. The restaurant is a wonderful place to dine whether gourmet dining or ala carte. Spacious convention halls & rooms & it just across the shopping mall.

Hotel attended in December 2011, very luxurious, ethernet internet connection in the room. Only negative detail, the carpet deserves to be changed in some places.

Simply the best place to stay in Cebu city. Absolutely fantastic!!

they overbooked a holiday dinner buffet...ran out if the special holiday dish, roast turkey...not something we would do again...their are better holiday meal options in Cebu...and better hotel options for the price

Great stay, great room and great facilities. The swimming pool and gym are also great. The swimming pool is open until 10 pm and the water depth is 120 cm. It is suitable for playing with water. The breakfast was very good and it was delicious.

The hotel is very clean, very spacious. Staffs are very friendly. Highly recommend their Restaurant!

One of my favorite hotels while in Cebu. Elegant, comfortable rooms, great buffet restaurant, great gym and resort like pool. Pretty good service provided by the staff. Location is not great, but the quality of the facilities make up for it.

Security is perfect at a luxury hotel. It is also attractive that late check out is free if it is not crowded!

What can i say... to this day the Radisson in Cebu still delivers me memories of the best buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner of any hotel I have ever visited. The food on selection ranges from Japanese, to Indian, to Chinese, to Filipino, to Italian, to Western and to everything in between. Simply delicious! The standard rooms are a good size with large plush bed, single seat couch and ottoman, large desk, large wardrobe and bathroom with a full width shower. My room did not have a bath. The hotel is located next to a large mall with convenient access - so it's easy to skip over and buy anything you need. There's 2 bars, one in the lobby and the other outside by the pool. The outdoor bar uses free standing AC on hot days/nights. I found the stay at the hotel and food and beverage prices to be great value. I wouldn't risk staying anywhere else on Cebu even to try.

The ambiance of this hotel is so relaxing. From the main entrance to the main lobby to the rooms. This is like a resort oasis in the middle of busy chatter of the city.

Service, food, place, accommodation are all 5 stars.

It was pleasant to stay here in Radisson blu. Friendly staff, location is perfect close to SM mall walking distance and most of all, helpful and reable.

I went with my family. I asked Cebu AS Car Rental Arimura and went with tour guide Anna. After all Cebu hotel staff say greetings are perfect The work is also early. It was delicious and delicious. I want to stay here again.
