Radisson Blu Hotel Amritsar Review

Decent business hotel. Within 5 minutes of the airport. Decent food and bar. Courteous staff

When you are here kindly note that management has a disclaimer that they are not responsible for anything which they take extremely seriously and follow to the T.

I, along with a few friends arrived here from Delhi on our motorcycles. These motorcycles are expensive and we requested for safe and secured parking. We were assured by the management that they have provided us safe and secure parking and we parked our motorcycles as directed by hotel management.

Unfortunately, from 2 of our motorcycles accessories worth over 50,000/- were STOLEN. These accessories are not easy to remove and must have taken a lot of time to do so.

When the theft was brought to the notice of the management they have been trying to do their research on this and is now almost 3 weeks since the incidence. They said they involved the police also. However, they have shared no further information with me and also claim that there is no CCTV there when this was supposed to have been a secured and safe parking area identified by the management for our motorcycles.

Management most reluctant to make goods the monetary loss suffered by us and are taking forever to arrive at any decision.

I will be very wary coming here next time and will also give a suitable warning to all that the management at this property are at best callous, take zero responsibility and only talk big.

Worst hotel one can possibly stay at in Amritsar. Very poor service. Poorly trained staff. A big no for anyone planning to book this place.

Smelly rooms! There is a constant undertone of an unpleasant smell that refuses to subside even with the air conditioning on.

Basic fixtures in the room didn t work - phone wire wasn t proper and the call had a constant crackling. I had to hold it in place for it to work. No warm water in the shower.

For some strange reason the room service guy wanted to be paid in cash - which I refused. In room breakfast was a disappointment, maybe should have gone for the Indian breakfast. I didn t try their restaurant, but being in Amritsar I d be surprised if they trump the local options.

Only ate at the restaurant. Food was very good and reasonable variety. Hotel entrance was well maintained with lovely flowers. Toilets are very clean. The bladder buster all u can drink challenge is very inappropriate as encourages binge drinking. Maybe funny to some people, but maybe NOT the image the hotel management want to project to the world. Lots of people from overseas here.

Total confusion with the reservation and they will look down upon if they have a influential person

Went for Dinner on my 6 month anniversary... Average food... Taste less gravies .... Over loud sound system....and guess what "A stray cat " running here and there inside the 5 star Restaurant .. . And finally The Restaurant manager doesn't knew the Names of all the sweet dishes and which one are egg less and which are with egg ... And on requesting him to get it confirmed from the head chef . He didn't bother and started serving other people

nice hotel, decent ambience, breakfast was gud. Just that it's far from golden temple, had a bad time coming to the hotel at night as it was foggy. stay safe

Good place to stay if you have something to do in & around the Amritsar Airport.

The prices are definitely a bit too much, it being a five star hotel, i hoped for a good price but the food is good, not the best for the price they charge, and their service people can't speqk english properly

I am writing this review as a common man visiting a hotel, thinking that a hotel derives its meaning from the word, hospitality. My recent association with Radisson Blu Amritsar has been the contrary to it. No doubt the lower staff is trained according to the standards and procedures set out by the Radisson Group USA and I don t intend to complain about it. But there is something in RB Amritsar which has been substantially impacted with a visible self-conceit. If one is not overwhelmed with the infrastructure, she would understand the presumptuous and egotistic touch in the actions of the upper staff. It denies the definition of a landmark because people remember things where they feel an aura of comfortability and care. The staff here in Amritsar behaves like flaunting the Radisson Brand. So I would suggest them to be grounded and to concentrate more on caring for a person who is stepping in and is having many other options in the city. This will help them stay longer in the market.

Very poor experience during party of shagun ceremony of Mr. Sahil dated29/03/18 by hotel staff (Ashok Chambial, F&B Supervisor). He was misbehaving with guest.
Service is worst than road side dhaba.
