Very friendly staff. Great pool with steam bath and sauna. To recommend.

The hotel is well located. However, the reception service leaves much to be desired. We had heating problems and they couldn't solve it!

For brunch. The brunch buffet was very versatile. All food made a fresh impression. The fresh squeezed orange juice was very good. The service was also convincing. Very pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend.

Very centrally located, the Radisson Blu offers good high standards. Very pleasant rooms and very friendly helpful staff. Price medium to high adapted to the offer.

The staff are very nice, the only bad thing was when I lost my Dior cardholders with all my credit, ID & License

Small rooms with bathroom cleanliness that left a lot to be desired. Common areas and excellent location.

At first I thought I was in a hotel in southern Germany ... Well, too bad, but probably the Allemannian workers are cheaper, for me a reason not to go back ... anyway, the food was great and the service was very friendly. The furniture in the foyer is very old-fashioned and wobbly. That's how I know it from the 80s. I was in the waiting area for a relatively long time, I would have liked to have a drink, but it was not asked ... For a hotel of this class very weak ...

Stayed July 22/23rd. Room clean, breakfasts were great and the staff rated a 10.

Very nice room, spacious and furnished with care. Convenient location to visit the city. Very rich breakfast. The property also has a car park, which is perhaps slightly expensive (30 francs a day), as there are no other parking options around. Although the hotel was under renovation, no discomfort was felt.

Good hotel which is located center of the city. Convenient to travel around for business or leisure.

Highly overrated and overpriced. Rooms are too small as compared to the charges they are taking.

However, Room services are good and staff is polite.

Great location. You can have all the privacy you need.

Quite a disappointment in regards of quality (given the price and 4 star category). The room (14 sqm?) is extremely tight with no space for movement at all, so much so that bed side tables are a joke (tiny!).

The washroom is VERY small, with poor access to bathtub and might involve you in some kind if accident due to tight space. Toilet's flush was half broken (doesn't stop and keeps flowing) and so is the shower (water leaking from tap and pipe when hand shower is used).

The room lights are inconvenient as the so called bed side master switch doesn't turn off all the room lights and you have to manually turn half of the room lights off!

The reception staff had no idea how to do billing and were so confused (for a very straightforward booking and cc payment) and took literally 30 mins to finally finish the checkout!
Additionally, during the checkin they tried to sell me breakfast additionally when it was already included in my booking!

Have stayed in 4 others 4 star category hotels in Basel and various other radissons around the world but never seen such a disappointment.

Top Class hotel. Luxury stay with awesome view to amazingly beautiful In my second stay, It was awesome experience. Rooms are large, super clean.. Really 5 star rated.. highly recommended.

Not book at the moment. Hotel is in the massive renovation in the outdoor area and lobby. The whole area looks like a construction site. I do not know how you can still book guests there. I have been there on 03/09/2019. From 7:30 am the night is over because of the noise of the work.

I try to call in the night couple of Hotels in the neighborhood because we were traveling from Italy to The Netherlands and our baby get sick. Couple of them answered phone but nobody speak English or no rooms available and the answer was you are calling so lately and directly hanging the phone BUTTTT Sybill Guldiman from Raddison Blue Hotel was there like a saver of our night. She picked up the phone with very good English and act very quick and within no time room was ready incl. baby bed. We arrived the hotel 5 min after, she even came to parking garage to help us with doors and luggages . She understand situation and show us the room and the baby can sleep directly. She bring also warm milk in the night for the baby. Sybill, u r a amazing person. Thank you for your help and professionally working. I m traveling a lot and i wish every hotel have somebody as her. Usually a great hotel...was disappointed because this one us very run down compared to the other Radisson Blu hotels I have seen.

For a business hotel, what can I say. The bedrooms are dingy, carpet has many well worn in stains and I would so not walk barefoot on it. The bathroom is tiny, no room for anything that you bring. The shower and bath combo, unless you like to be in a shower of ankle high water because the bath doesn t drain fast enough, then you hit the jackpot. Adjoining rooms for a business hotel where you can clearly hear the tv noise from next door, wonderful, especially when you have a major business meeting to attend and need sleep and rest.
No slippers, not robe. Everything you request via app. If you ring reception, be prepared to wait a long time as it s mostly unattended . I called 7 times, multiple options but no hold music, just rings and rings and rings. Completely unprofessional. For a 4 star, I have stayed in 3 stars which exceed this hotel, specifically the Dorint. Just wasn t available this time and had to take the Radisson. Never again shall I stay here. Just utterly disappointing.

The pool is a dream. Rooms show some signs of use. Shower is smaller than visible in the photo. The reception staff was friendly, but a little inconvenient. Do not speak very many languages and sometimes too quietly. Night porter super great guy. For the price, I expect a little more.

Racist. They won't serve you in the breakfast area. asked for coffee ten times, 3 days in a row, always told sure, other guests served, I was ignored. I was a paying guest!

The reception of the staff is very pleasant. The hotel is spacious. The breakfast is well supplied (egg, sausage, bacon, cheese, ham but also fruits, different juices, croissants, bread ....) We had room 448 and there was a problem with the heating system. The problem was quickly solved with a backup heater since we did not want to move. So generally we are very happy with this hotel

We had a very good little stay in your hotel! Nice room, cleanliness no complaints, SPA and pool very good, wide choice and very good breakfast.

Quiet, standard rooms. Love the free tram/bus pass. Tiny bathrooms, but very functional. Very central to Basel SSB and the city.

The hotel is nice actually. Rooms are standard European size and the decoration is beautiful. Just not up to the Radisson Blu standard. For example, in every Radisson Blu I stayed (8 in total) they d have complimentary mineral water on the room. In this one, the minibar is completely empty, not to talk about complimentary items. So overall it s a nice place, but they re missing those small, simple (and inexpensive) touches that show they care for the guests.

I really like this Radisson. I have been here dozens of times over the years. It is my go-to location in Basel.

Overpriced. I haven't been going there since the ants walked over the cheese at the breakfast buffet!

Very nice people at reception, friendly service and a perfect breakfast buffet - that's all I really need on vacation. We also received good tips on current events and mobility cards for using public transport.

Beautiful hotel well located nice modern decoration

a nice entrance area / lobby. The rooms for meetings are large with a large projector. On the floor a carpet that is much too soft in shades of brown (a matter of taste). Unfortunately, the men's toilet was not really clean, the floor was even sticky (I prefer not to know why). All in all a moderate experience.
