Great hotel, clean, friendly staff. Restaurant in hotel is a bit expensive, but the breakfast buffet was good.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, at the time of construction but which does not bother us much if you do not spend the whole day in the hotel. Here I will definitely book again.

I really enjoyed staying there. I was really welcomed and they put a letter for me which gave me the feeling that they care. I had a business room and they provided me a free minibar and lots of other stuff. Just I did not like the confrence room because it was small without windows. For staying in Basel, I really recommend this hotel.

Stylish 4 star hotel near the centre of Basel. The pool was one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel and so it gets an extra star for that!

The rage is not ok, in the restaurant I recommend a pizza substitute in the menu in the appetizer department. Big, cheap and good.

Rather high rates for what is offered. Clean room but really small. Good equipment, especially the TV offers the possibility of streaming from your smartphone or PC. Breakfast not included, and rather expensive.

Great location... Room is confortable.. Breakfast it's OK.. Nothing special... In general its good

Good food and price good. Staff very friendly and we were even asked when our food combed to a stretched table as we kept out smoking. Unfortunately in the whole Fasnachtstress our order was handled wrong and we were served something different. After a long wait we finally got our food.

We were charged for breakfast although it was included in our room class, room and location is outdated. It was okay, but I know many better radisson blu hotels.

Even though they had construction going on I was not affected. I loved the apples and snacks available at the lobby! Great friendly front desk staff!

I cannot recommend this hotel. The reception staff were friendly if a little bit frazzled, but the hotel is currently being renovated causing major distraction, inconvenience and noise. I first had a room that was like a prison cell, with the bed being an extended window sill and not bigger than a regular bathroom. When I asked for a different room, I got one that looked more normal but at 8 am workers started walking on the scaffolding right in front of my window with lots of noise and looking inside, making it impossible to get privacy or rest. The pool and gym were closed. Also you could not walk down the stairs and barely access the lobby because of the renovation. The hotel should close in this condition, not keep open inconveniencing guests.

What can I say about this hotel and its staff? All I can say is, it was damn worth my stay in Basel, at this hotel.

Reception staff were amazing. Jonas was very helpful and went an extra mile to help us.

Jean at the breakfast restaurant was so good with hotel residents. He made you feel comfortable and lightened up your day. He danced his way to serve you

The GM of the hotel, Nicola, was down to earth and very approachable. He even sent us a birthday cake and card to our with best wishes.

The swimming pool, steam room and sauna were also a perfect place to revitalize your well being.

Their breakfast was delicious especially their Quiche and Omelette freshly prepared by their chef. I would come here everyday for breakfast if I lived in Basel .

Location of this hotel was perfect in Basel. You can get anywhere from here using the trams.

Hotel also had a party when we arrived. Good food, drinks and dance were on their menu and as residents we were invited too!

I have never got this kind of service from any other hotels I have stayed across Europe.

Nice hotel and good location. Very friendly and competent staff at the reception. Pleasant rooms and very clean. You still get tickets for the tram in Basel free of charge.

Ordered champagne, received warm prosecco. Only bad!

Good gym and breakfast, a bit expensive for our level

I've stayed here several times now, and the experience has been quite consistent over the years.

The rooms are clean and generally inviting.

The separate beds on slats pushed together often becomes a 2am circus, and while not uncomfortable, they really aren't great either.

The bathroom situation in the rooms flat-out stinks. Picture an Amtrak bathroom without the drain and intent. With undersized bath, end up with legs half under sink while taking care of business, shower door may randomly swing out at you. Speaking of which, shower doors often don't seal as expected and leave a respectable pond in bathroom after.

This place desperately needs to modernize bathrooms compared to other area hotels, but given the history, I get they are making do with what have.

Otherwise, service is pretty good, location is decent, and it hasnt killed me yet - though the 2ft drop out from the shower might.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff. Not cheap. Shame no shuttle bus from/to airport.

Not a long walk from the train station; but the way to get there is difficult! Do not choose the shortest, then you save energy. Nice hotel where I have to praise the staff! Something nice and courteous is rare these days! Also at the breakfast buffet the nice young lady, really, really great. I was really surprised to have been received so lovingly.

The hotel deserves 5 stars alone because opposite a 24 hour doner shop is.

I really like this hotel and its prefered option for me when I stay in Basel. All services are great, very kind staff, helpfull. Environment is well designed and look just great.

I choose this hotel always mainly because I can also do something for my health here, every evening to spend a bit of time in sauna is just great and its real energy booster for me.

Probably the only comment I will have is for the breakfast, in compare with Hilton or Ramada the breakfast is not worth of its price.

Clean room, bit weird the double bed is actually two singles but was fine. Had a small issue that was handled very well and compensated to satisfaction. Great location, five minutes from the main train station and five minutes from the old Town.

A hotel where you can enjoy the standard Radisson quality in the city. The restaurant at the bottom is a nice choice as a dining alternative. The hotel gives citypass against the city tax. This property is very nice, allowing you to walk around the city for free.

Service is not up to the mark and everyday had to call reception for toiletries or tea

Service team easily overwhelmed. Booking not found - wait a long time. The booked food was not prepared in time and only with missing. The maid was dan at the "you" with us as if we are old friends ... The waiter complained about other staff in front of us at the table .... The room was nice for that.

Good hotel. Rooms are small and no gym facilities to speak of. Plus in full European fashion, the gym does not open till 7am which to me it's a bit late. Breakfast is just ok, nothing fancy, but enough to start the day.

Parking: right next to the hotel. in such a location it is a good luxury with 30 EUR charge.
Rooms: Aged. I was staying in a business room which was bigger than average Basel hotel rooms. A big disappointment for me was the bathroom. They use ugly, stinky plastic curtains god knows for how long. and this thing touches you while you are having a shower.
Also bath tap requires a manual to start the shower head, I think this is the most challenging thing on frequent travellers' life.

Nice hotel! Nice breakfast, and good service. If I have to back Basel, it will be a preference.

A very nice hotel that is very well situated and close to a number of sights to see in Basel, including the zoo and an old church. The restaurant at the hotel is also quite good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue I had with the hotel is the bathroom in our room. The door was all glass, and offered nearly no privacy; This could be an issue depending on who you're traveling with and/or your own level of comfort as pertains to privacy. Also, there was a door in the room that I presume is there so one can pass between rooms if, say, you happened to need two rooms (traveling as a large group/family for example). This door was unlocked, and at one point, early in the morning, someone attempted to enter our room through this door, and then quickly shut it. It was startling to say the least. We proceeded to barricade the door with a chair to prevent further entry. We informed the desk clerk, who apologized, and seemed just as confused as we were. So, if you do stay here, and don't want whoever coming into your room in the dark of the night, I suggest you have someone from the hotel lock such a door.

We were guests over New Year's Eve and had a very nice stay. The staff at the reception are super friendly and accommodating. As someone who travels a lot and likes to travel, I really appreciate that. The room was clean and tidy, if prepared for someone else according to the greeting card. Not so wild, after all, it was New Year's business.

The room itself is very modern and stylish.

The breakfast was plentiful and yet clear and fresh. Again 5 * stars and a big compliment to the friendly and courteous staff.

The hotel itself is easily accessible by car, but the cost of the parking garage of CHF 30 is simply too high. Here the journey by bus and train is more profitable.

The wellness area has to be divided into a pool and a sauna area.

Pool:

Pro: It's not a pool, it's a swimming pool. Huge for a hotel and at no extra charge. Top.

Cons: The area seems to be showing its age, at least visually. Unfortunately does not fit in with the rest of the modern and stylish ambience of the entire complex.

Sauna: In addition to the sauna, there is also a steam bath. You hardly need more. Here, too, could be used again at no extra charge.

There is also a fitness studio, but we didn't use it in the short time.

All in all, a place that we can warmly recommend as a place to stay.

Very pleasant atmosphere, good food and professional service. Still, I would have expected a little more for this price.

The hotel is ok with a restaurant where the service is just as ok. Very close to the Kunstmuseum and the train station.

The room is beautiful. The morning buffet was also delicious. There are rooms where you can only go through the stairs after getting off the elevator, so people in wheelchairs should check in advance.

Reservation did not work for Sunday brunch. Table was not prepared at the agreed time.
Sparkling wine came only after we were done and wanted to go!
Breakfast otherwise OK. Drinks were very long and there was no demand, you always had to look for someone or call!

Astonished, irritated and shaken. Total disappointment. A boardroom, windowless, cooled down to arctic temperatures - a service that does nothing to remedy the malady and seek a better solution. This is not Radisson style. We know the Radisson at Zurich Airport and have been impressed by comfort and service for years. What's going on in Basel?

Centrally located and practical hotel to stay overnight

Sparse room with little comfort. Filthy, really. Worried about my parents tripping on uneven threshold entering and exiting room, or slipping coming out of the ridiculous tub. Turned out I found myself watching my moves also, especially that horrible tub. Check in was a hassle. Check out even slower. This will be my one and only time with Radisson. Shame on them.

The morning meal a dream. The service so wonderful. I will gladly come again

Nice, functional and well-kept hotel in the center of Basel. Staff very friendly and professional. My room was small but very comfortable and pleasant. Very comfortable bed.
Breakfast and dinner very assorted and all very good. The selection of great cheeses !!.

we have just spent 2 nights at this hotel and we were disappointed on several levels:
poorly heated room, bathroom very small and dilapidated, toilet cramped and stuck behind the door of the bathroom, empty mini bar, no water bottle at our home, breakfast expensive for the service rendered;
price far too high for the delivery of the 4 star hotel ?????

Before dinner go for a cocktail and enjoy the nice atmosphere. We found the short stay very pleasant and nice. Only deduction was because the service lady was alone and we had to wait a little long and even if we are very proud that they use cardboard tubes, it was a shame because the mojito you have to stir and the carton quickly broke up and thereby changed The taste of the drink, solution would probably not be a small metal spoon mitzugeben so you can stir with it. Everything else great. But it also had enough customers. But this should not spoil the mood of anyone who it is very nice and pleasant. The service staff was very nice and accommodating.
