This was not our first time here. The service was great and last time then food was really good. This time it was not very good. The raveolie was over cooked. Really most of the food was. We will try the place again but it will be a while.

Thus is one of those not so hidden gems! Great food reasonable price. Quarter View has become one of my default restaurants if I can't decide what I want to eat they have the variety to satisfy and unlike most restaurants with a large selection this place does it all well.

This food is not as good as it used to be in the beginning. Same ol story they increase in size and decrease in quality! I would but recommend!

Once a favorite of mine. Bathrooms are always dirty. I was constantly shooing flies away. High ceilings, walls, and jazz decorations need a good cleaning. Didn't open till 2pm on a Saturday, odd for a weekend. Food is alright but, it really could use a good cleaning. Makes me wonder what's going on in the kitchen. Especially, when the staff is standing around talking to each other.

That was my first time going to eat there. We all ordered the same thing the catfish and the shrimp. The fries where so crispy and hot. The Platter was good but when I go back I'm going to try something different.

Had the fried Catfish platter and it was great, 4 large pieces of catfish filet's.

Good food. Good servers. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of their pasta situation. They dont put enough sauce... and they know that... if you ask for more sauce they charge you $3. At least they put it on the menu so you're not blindsided. But anyway. I didnt eat my pasta due to the fact... it was basically boiled noodles with a teaspoon of sauce

The quality of this Restaurant has went WAY down they do give a lot food for the price BUT the taste of the food has suffered greatly must be that they have a new chef. The Onion rings were under cooked batter falling off the Crawfish pasta was dried out they recommend you putting fried crawfish with this I did and NO no better it is an up charge I don't recommend. The Cesar salad and the hushpuppy's in miniature yes very small were better than the meal itself. Sorry I went and won't be back even after all the renterveion's you have done terrible food and spotty service is not worth paying for.

Large portions, lots of options at a great price. Not fancy just plain good.

Went with large group, short wait time quick wait staff, courtesy, wad a v r y busy time but we'll worth the wait, we ordered a platter of an appetizer it was very large, prices not too expensive on food, had enough to eat for 2 more meals, will be back...

Not happy with the service or the boiled seafood. The boiled crawfish was all mushy so the manager charged us for a pound that we did not even eat. Then she got us boiled shrimp which was twice as much and it was mushy also and no seasoning. The crawfish that we did taste was seasoned well. We asked for crackers never got them. The manger walked by our table at least three times and did not even ask if the shrimp was ok. Which was not. Will not eat there again. First and last time.

This is my families favorite place to eat when we have to go to Metairie. The Veal Orleans is the best with angel hair pasta or even ask for it over rice. The fish is clean and cooked great too. Service is usually good but could be better and better attitudes.

Since remodeling, the food has gone down. The venue is nice, but the service was awful. The charboiled oysters were burnt, after refusing them we were served under cooked charboiled oysters. The stuffed trout isn't as good as it used to be, and the macaroni was wet/ undercooked. I won't be returning. I would have rathered that the venue remained the same, with good service and food.

They food is always good but for some reason when you get takeout it's not goodit's not as much as they give you when you sit in and I've only have all the twice for and both times I was not happy I was totally dissatisfied but the service when I went to pick up my food is always great I don't know but I got to give you one cuz I paid over $100 for my order

Consistently delicious food. .. Love their .very large seafood platter and Italian pasta dishes......always fresh with large portions Have been a loyal customer since they opened several.years ago....only complaint is the noise level.

Food was very good. The restaurant is lovely. I used to come right after the hurricane before it was closed. Still liked the baked macaroni.

Disappointed! Stuffed mushrooms were cold. Grilled shrimp were tough. With all of the amazing restaurants in NOLA, I would not choose this one!

If they had zero stars I would've selected it. Don't know if the food was good or not because I couldn't enjoy it due to the HORRIBLE customer service. Our service was ridiculous and when asked for manager she didn't even come to table to hear my complaint I had to make it my business to go to her. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT. They even try to charge you if you wanna cut a cake at the table 1$ per person. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS RESTAURANT.

Usually have a great experience at this restaurant but today they were very rude, unaccommodating, and wanted to charge a $1 per person cake fee of the cake that we bought in. We were trying to celebrate my aunt's 75th birthday. We got up and left to go to another restaurant. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Lunch specials are delicious and hard to beat. Excellent food and service. They are very accommodating for this picky eater's special requests. This has become my favorite Metairie eatery.

Great food, but a pain for take out, everytime we order it seems our food takes for ever. Apparently they must not cook your food until you show up

Cool environment,short wait time, reasonable priced and large portions. An the food was delicious. I'm ready to go back already. Lol

Nice and clean restaurant but the food was HORRIBLE. The waitress wasnt very specific on how 3 ppl can eat off of 1 plate. The food was very bland and no seasoning and the fried food was wayyyyy to salty. Just an overall bad experience for my family and I. The waitress was also unsure on what kind of mixed adult beverages was served. JUST HORRIBLE

I called multiple weeks ahead of the time I needed the place for a dinner and was repeatedly told that I would just have to show up. So I called a day before to confirm that I can still just show up. The worker got on the phone and was very disrespectful when I was trying to explain what I was told previously . Then once she got off the phone I heard her continuously be disrespectful in the background. A woman named Lina the owner came to the phone and I then explained the situation. She handled it professionally but when I told her about the woman who handed her the phone she acted as if she didn't know who I was talking about. She asked was it a girl or boy when she know it was a girl. When I explained the girl was disrespectful she didn't care and just brushed it off and tried to change the conversation. As an owner she should have her workers to act professionally when answering the phone. I was calm the entire time and not once got an attitude.

Food is always awesome and plentiful. Only drawback is all wait staff isn't always attentive.

We have been dining here for several years now. It is fantastic!! We have brought several friends and family members from out of town here and they loved it. Every time they come to visit, they make sure we are going to fit Quarter View in the plans. We especially love the quarter view punch, BBQ shrimp and the stuffed trout. Don't miss Quarter View when visiting the New Orleans area.

Always have great food, drinks & brought out in a timely manner. Definitely will be going back as always. Best thing about Quarter View is they expanded the seating for their customers. Best appetizers also.

Pretty decent food. LARGE portions. Service could be less... snooty? Persnickety? What's a good way of staying that the wait-staff were raging bitches to my my table the past couple of visits without actually calling them bitches?

The food is always Good and the servers are very polite, I always come with a group of people, I will be back.

My all time favorite place to eat....weekly visit. Family friendly environment, easy access, great food & drinks. My 8yr old neice, loves your steaks.

Best chicken parmesan in the city. Restaurant itself is a little loud and A/C always cold so bring a sweater. Good food and service.

Food was really good and the service was spot on. We had a really big group so it's hard to judge overall performance but ours was great.

Food and service was a little hit or miss, but mostly hit. The oysters (fried and charbroiled) were meh (small and too salty and the chargrilled had too much spice), but good oysters are hard to find right now due to the spillway issues and many places don't even have oysters right now at all. Fried fish and shrimp were fantastic (really good) and portions were huge (the fried seafood platter could serve a whole family). Grilled fish had a lot of bones and wasn't the best. Overall a good experience and very good value, though. Atmosphere is very nice and ample free parking. We'll go back.

Traditional New Orleans neighborhood restaurant food. Fried or grilled seafood dishes as well as pastas, burgers, and sandwiches. Pricing has gone up since the remodel so not as well priced as before given the type of food served.

Chargrilled oysters were over-garlicky. Just barely soft shelled crabs, spaghetti sauce tasted like a can of diced tomatoes with a can of tomato paste just warmed. Will never go back again. Too bad, because our waitress was exceptional. Nice atmosphere.

Went there for a graduation dinner. Wait time was so long, and my sister had a fly in her drink. Waited for the food when it got there it was cold.

I went here last night for a birthday dinner for a friend. We had a group of 25. You cannot make reservations. We patiently waited for an extremely large group in the front dining room to leave, about an hour. In the meantime, about 40 minutes after we got there, a group of 12 came in. When the front dining room was cleared they took 2 of the 5 tables and sat the other group first. They took the other 3 tables and placed 25 chairs around it. We were crammed, barely able to all get to the table. They put 2 people on each end. Then we were assigned only ONE waiter. He could not keep up. The food came out wrong, cold and took forever. Nothing was well done or managed in an appropriate way. It took forever to get the bills correct and handled. We were there for 3 hours and 45 minutes. Totally miserable experience. And the caveat is, a cake was brought but there would have been a charge per person to eat it. I am baffled by the good reviews. If you want tons of fried food that is frozen, I guess this is your place. I will not return.

Quarterview by far has the best food around New Orleans. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. Not to fancy but not just a corner burger joint either. The employees are friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Very welcoming. You definitely get your money's worth. Also everytime we go there, if our very 1st waiter is there, which so far he has been everytime, he makes it a point to come say hi and let us know it's great to see us. I could go on and on about this truly amazing restaurant. We'll most definitely be back there

Sweatpants were invented here---unofficially. Hot food and excellent service with a French Quarter styled decor make for a wonderful visit. Please dontnwear anything restricting your waistline because portions are VERY generous. I stuffed myself on appetizers. Try the Creole jambalaya jazz rolls. Heaven.

I have always experienced friendly welcoming service. The value is unquestionably good and the food delicious.

The only reason i knocked this down to 4 stars instead of five is the constant construction going on. But the food is wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair. This is a great family restaurant. Oh and try the char grilled oysters. Theyre pretty dang good.

Beautiful new renovations but you are paying for it their high prices. My wife had to pay $2 extra for sweet potato fries and extra $3 for her salad when her meal was $24. That's highway robbery!!
