Don't get the coconut shrimp! Catfish was good and hot!!!!!

Crawfish was amazing and must try their onion rings!!!! The only reason its a 3 star is because my wife ordered potatoes with the crawfish and I ordered sausages we had to returned them. The potatoes were over cooked and the sausages taste like grease it was awful. We ordered another order of potatoes and they too were over cooked. Overall a 3 could of been a bad day but we ll be going back the crawfish were really good!!!

This place has really changed.for the first time ever,I was moved to walk out of the restaurant do to very POOR, service...my waitress made me feel like I was not wanted there so I obliged..and left after eating my cold appetizers. never will I patronize there again.

The food and staff were awesome. I got the grilled salmon... it was delicious!!!

A moderate to higher end resturaunt in Metairie, Quarter View caters their experience to people who want more than a franchised sit-in dining experience, such as Chili's, Outback, Olive Garden, etc... the resturaunt has expanded and added upgrades such as. A full bar area and party room for larger parties which is a plus.

It boost a very large menu (4-5 pgs) with medium to smal print so there is something for everyone. The prices are moderate on the menu, but beware of upcharges and market pricing as they can be very steep here. Ordering pasta with extra sauce +$4, or chargrilled oyster dozen $18-$22.

Excellent food. Very loud. Needs some decor that absorb the noise.

We have been to this restaurant several times in the past and have always had a pleasant experience until tonight. We waited over 45 minutes for our food which tasted sub-par for the price you pay. Our waitress never checked on us or tried to explain why the wait was so long. Two tables that came in after us ate and left before we even got our food! Then it took another 15 minutes to get our check after we had to find our waitress and ask to bring us the ticket. We arrived at the restaurant at 5 and didn t get up to leave until 6:45! The service is absolutely atrocious! And then they added in the gratuity into our check so no incentive to provide any decent service. We will honestly never go back to this restaurant. The food is overpriced and service is terrible.

This place serves GREAT FOOD!!!! I had the shrimp and okra gumbo, a mufalotta sandwich, and ordered the Italian sausage and meatball spaghetti.
I will definitely return back!

delicious and they offered large portions. I've enjoyed everything that I have ordered from them. Also, $1.00 charbroiled oysters on Wednesdays! Woohoo!

Charming, remodeled restaurant in Metairie. Easy to find, plenty of Parking, good food

Quality & Quantity of good good. However, went Friday night to pick up take out from bar area & it was really crowded. Had called ahead to order & was told ready in 20 min. Arrived 25 minutes later & waited 45 minutes for order to be ready. Too many people having groups meet for Parties! Waiters worked really hard to accommodate but I won't go back at a popular time even for takeout unless curbside pickup is available.

Had the pork chops they weren't cooked all the way very dissatisfied

No good evening welcome to Quarter View. Maybe because the Hostess, who I think was the owner, was busy talking to a friend at the door. I should have walked out then but my daughter wanted to try the food. So she finally showed us to a table.The waitress was great/friendly. My 16 oz ribeye was 10 oz of meat an 6 oz of fat, but the steak was delicious. When leaving, the hostess' last chance was blown because she looked at me with a stare an turned her back. A " hope you enjoyed your meal" or "thank you, please come again" ' would've been a normal response. Was it just because she was rude, or because we weren't one of the regulars ?

Awesome service and food.we had to get two. To go boxes because the portions were huge.I had the seafood platter which after I ate half filled up the box and the portion of cole slaw filled the round container! Tom had two huge grilled chicken breast and could only eat one with all salad and fries so we both have enough left overs for another two meals. ..well worth the price which was not much for the amount of food they served!

From bad to worse. As a retiree my wife and I usually eat out several times per week. We had dinner at Quarter View tonight and unfortunately, they were featuring live music. The music was simply too loud. I asked to speak to the manager. When she came to the table, I explained that the music was too loud and ask if there s anything she could do. She quickly replied, in a very unsympathetic tone, NO! I shared with her that the musicians were using an amplifier and they could easily lower the volume. She replied, once again in an unsympathetic tone, then they wouldn t hear the music on the other side of the restaurant. She also added, I can t move you because we are busy. No attempt to accommodate a customer, and no apology ( although she did offer a cursory apology after we had our meal and was leaving. I honestly can t remember a worse dining experience. Never say never, but I will not be back.

The best place to eat in Metairie! Food is well worth the price! You'll need a big appetite or you'll be taking food to go! Not expensive at all on top of a date night/ family night vibe! This is my second time here and I love this place! Highly recommend this to everyone that comes to New Orleans!

Good service. A bit too much salt and pepper on the burger though. No idea why restaurants put salt and pepper on their food. I can put my own on if I want too. And I rarely do.

Amazing food. Best oysters I've had and the appetizer portions were large.

The food was great cagun from New Orleans/Metarie La. It was worth it to go by there and eat. Waitress and waitor were really nice and went above and beyond to get whatever we needed. I would go back again

The owner had a very nasty attitude. The server gave the wrong food and did not bring one order out, the owner was told what happen and she basically came out and personally ask to check all our groups plates, the was a group of 17 and who paid over a five hundred bill. We will never go there again.

I recently went there to get some food and the food was not that good. Use to be better,I don't know what happened. I use to recommend this place to everyone,now kind of cautious.

I normally do not write reviews but decided to let more people know about this restaurant. I arrived about 4:45 pm today for their craw fish & oyster special, that sounded great as my last Louisianan meal before I go back home to the mid-west. I was seated quickly as they were not that busy but it was over 5 minutes before anyone even offered me something to drink.
Another 5-7 minutes before the waitress came by & I told her that I came for the specials & she informed me that I have to buy a drink, not water, to get the pricing. I ordered & waited about 15 to 20 minutes to be served, OK, another couple came in just as I started to eat, ordered & they were served the same as I ordered & more & had their food in about 5 minutes!
I will return to New Orleans area someday soon but I will never ever dine at this restaurant again!
