I initially found QualSight LASIK through my vision plan, which was heavily discounted. QualSight made it very easy to find a great doctor and schedule the exam. Today, I couldn't be happier with the results, either. Dr. Hoffmann is the best. Even though it was discounted, EVERYTHING was included - initial meetings, pre-surgery, surgery, follow-ups, even those scheduled over a year post op.

This review is only in regards to customer service, since I haven t been scheduled an actual appointment yet (despite my efforts). It has been almost 2 months of me messaging them and emailing them to schedule an appointment. My phone doesn t work for phone calls at the moment, which I explained to them on multiple occasions. So I have been in the process of scheduling an appointment through emails for almost two months. It seems like they have no interest in making my appointment, which is confusing and frustrating.
I have spoken with multiple different employees. The first one refused to give an answer on whether or not they were open due to covid. We went back and forth about 10 messages- I kept asking if they were open and he would reply to my emails without answering the question, every time. Two other employees kept calling me and leaving voicemails, completely ignoring my request to email since I cannot talk on the phone. The fourth employee is currently working on scheduling an appointment (supposedly), but there are multiple-day gaps in the conversation and I have to keep asking what the next steps are for making an appointment, after being ignored for days. It has been one week of emailing with this employee and I still don t have a appointment set.
I m confused and surprised that it is so difficult to make a consultation appointment. It s been almost two months, and conversations with multiple employees. It makes me very hesitant to trust them with performing surgery on me, if something as simple as scheduling an appointment is such a big issue. At this point, I m not sure what to do. I don t understand why they have no interest in gaining a customer. I will likely bring my business elsewhere. Besides the fact that I have no choice because I can t make an appointment, I m honestly not sure about the quality of this place after my experiences so far.
Just had my lasik eye surgery at The Lasik Vision Institute in MN thanks to Qualsight Lasik. What a great experience! I had previously visited another place for an initial exam and left feeling like it just wasn't in the budget. After finding out about Qualsight Lasik and talking to my Care Manager Jeff, I found out I was able to get a pretty significant discount on the procedure at qualifying locations. With that, I was able to feel comfortable about moving ahead with the procedure.
The whole process was very easy as Jeff explained and/or handled everything from start to finish. I cannot say enough how nice it was to be able to call his direct line and actually get ahold of him and be able to speak with him. More so, he would always return my call if wasn't available. He was very helpful with scheduling as well as answering any questions I had, especially regarding the financing and aftermath of the procedure. The only downfall was that they forgot to mention that I could line my follow-up care with someone closer to home but I think that was a combination of Qualsight and LVI's miss.
Nonetheless, I would highly recommend Qualsight to anyone that is considering LASIK as I know that had I not found out, I'd probably be typing with four eyes as we speak! Call Qualsight and get your discount (and NEW EYES) today!!
I was looking for a lasik provider in WA and called the 800 number. The customer service representative sounded unfriendly and unhappy. It was very apparent that she was going to be reluctant to be helpful. I asked how I can find a provider in the area. She proceeded to ask me for my personal information and insisted that she could not give me information until I provided her with my DOB, address, etc for 'medical' purposes. This is a discount program which refers you to providers so I was reluctant to give her my information. I asked if I can look online for a provider and she said no. There is a 'Find a Provider' option on the website, but it doesn't tell you who the providers are.
I chose to go through QualSight LASIK, since my health insurance was offering discounts. I was thoroughly pleased with their services, the doctors and assistants. All the employees were very professional and attentive towards myself and other clients who were there in the waiting and pre-surgery rooms. I will refer family & friends who considering LASIK surgery to set up an appointment at QualSight.
Made an appt with a provider based on price quoted. Office was over 2 hours from my home, with offices much closer. Chose this office due to the quote given by Qualsight, only to find out the price was for a technique they didn't use. Now only saving about 10%, and having to drive hours to get it. Not sure it was worth it, and feeling very duped.
I tried to have Lasik 2 years ago but could not afford it. My health insurance recommended QualSight Lasik and the same doctor I went to was in there network and they saved me $800 off the price they quoted me. Finally had lasik done, so glad my insurance recommended QualSight but even more glad I finally had the surgery! Not having to fumble around for my glasses in the morning has truly been LIFE CHANGING!
Their more expensive than the most expensive in Minnesota! Is what they didn't know, is that they use the same doctor that I use and going through qualsight was about $1000 more expensive. Blue cross discount is just a pair advertisement for the name. No one saves anything. The few handful of reviews are not real. This is real.
I live in Phoenix, AZ and found this company through my insurance. They saved me about $600 more than the regular discount. I never heard of them until my insurance told me to call, I guess they work with certain insurance companies and work out a pre-negotiated price.
They set me up with Nationwide vision centers and I could not be happier. Not having to locate my glasses to see the alarm in the morning is something I haven't done since I was a kid and although it may sound corny it's a big deal to people who can't see without glasses.
Thank goodness for my insurance (Avesis) for working with this company! If you have Avesis and are considering lasik make sure to call them for the extra discount.
