1. Doctrs & nurses at neurology ward are helpful & compassion.It helps with cheerful dctrs like Dr Soon.
2. At extraordinary time of mco, mngmnt pls look into allowing at least flexibility fr caregivers esp whn cases require it. Apart from ease load off nurses, Caregiver too give moral support to patient.
3. Parking fees are horrendous.
4. Hope mngemnt reads reviews.

Yup some of the nurses were very rude...i saw it although im only a visitor...but very rude to some old patient....im not agreed with it...management plese observe wad 5c...how some nurses works..!not all but some of it....!!, no smiley face and shout at the patient...., do you have a cctv....then..?, nurse not a gangster..should uour nurse act like a gangster when the patient not well...., please do something n obserrrvveeeee

Nearest Hospital or Pusat Perubatan for residents at Bukit Jalil, Sri Petaling, Bandar Tasik SELATAN. As if you stay at Sri Petaling you can see the HUKM Ambulance attending emergencies at here one a week or 3-4 times a month. The HUKM Ambulance drivers also professional. The hospital also is big and the service or hospitality also is good.

Very dissapointed on the Wad 6E service. The nurse is impolite and even requests the patient family to put on pampers for patients. When asking for extra cotton pad, the nurse didnt want to provide... I dont know why we should pay high fees if we need to self service. The doctors is unclear about the health conditon of the patient, kept asking a few times from different doctors but get different responses from them. Different medicine for each time entering the wad. Sometimes need antibiotics, somwtimes no, but asking for confirmation, they said need it... It doubts me when the doctor is so frustrated when we asks about the patient's conditon...I can't understand on their anger.

As per today 30th November 2017. They are not systematic enough. We have to wait for almost an hour for next appointment. They should change the patient system, these:
1)Recent appointment
2)Next appointment
3)Pharmacy business

These items should be linked within doctor's room and the reception counter.
So that patient doesn't have to wait for so long. This can increase the productivity and quality of the staff. Rather for them to attend it manually.

This is not to condemn, but to improve the system. We as the citizen are thankful and grateful for the service given by the government.

Firstly, I was disgusted at the service the patients receive in the 7C ward. My aunt's morphine syringe was due for a change, I buzzed them to change it and they simply looked and walked away without doing anything about it. Paged again and still no one did anything. Instead I found the nurses to be congregating around their workspace laughing and giggling at mobile phones. This type of practice in a hospital is extremely unprofessional and perhaps they should be supervised. Finally, after reminding them once more, they located the nurse allocated for my aunt and she was on a meal break. Shouldn't she have monitored her patients before going on a break or atleast passed on her responsibilities before eating?

This behaviour continued when my aunt was moved to 6G ward. I understand the visiting hours are strict but these nurses are a joke, I mean playing on phones and laughing when a heart rate monitor is obviously making a noise. It felt like a very insensitive workplace where no empathy is shown towards visitors or patients. From my relatives who also visited, I can only say one or two of the staff who changed her drips and provided meals were proficient.

The carpark situation is obviously an issue since the hospital is filled with too many patients and there's always a long wait at emergency. Most corridors are dim and wires hanging out from the ceiling in some parts.

This will be the last time any of my family members will use HUKM and I strongly advise the government refurbish this hospital for the citizens sake as well as train staff better.

I always thought Malaysian health care was proficient but leaves me questionable after this experience.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. And everyone think twice before admitting anyone here.

Mum was treated since 1st time admiited.all check up been done here.just admitted again due to infection.some of doctors & nurses are good. There are a few not ..they seem to be lazy..& they to bully others. Sorry to said that.my My maid stay with my mum to take care of her since need to stay in 1 week.while I'm not around..my maid ask for help to change the pamper of my mum as she unable to carry her that time.1 of the nurse just ask her change yourself. No others will help too. Till I came & ask .but give some reason..said not her work..her friend busy..i just help u. This a word from the nurse..we are just asking a helping hand & this not 24 hours.we appreciate their work to take care patients but somehow feel dissapointed to some of them who said this.

Extremely bad customer service and poor response, been calling for days just to change an appointment. Hold my calls for 30 minutes and the stuff are rude.

#Staff were rude, arrogant or lazy or had a negative attitude.

#Long waits before or between appointments, including delays in being moved between different departments.

Even if you have a serious case you have to wait two months for your appointment with the doctor, nobody is interested in your health condition.
Before you get to the doctor, you must go through several check ups from the staff. Procedure of getting appointment is very, very, very difficult and complicated even if you are paying for the treatment, it's as if you are going to see king or queen. Could make it more easy for people who are actually sick and cannot run from one place to another. There is no proper organization of people flow. Some of the assistants behavior looks like they are working in old village clinic and their attitude towards patients depends on the patients' nationality/race. Management have to pay more attention to what is going on in front area of the hospital.

This university hospital has been renamed to Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz and is one of the few university hospitals in Malaysia. It is the medical faculty of the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and home to many professional healthcare providers pursuing undergraduate studies, postgraduate training and research.

Most patients I encounter here are generally satisfied with the quality and availability of treatment. I would recommend getting medical treatment here.

I am deeply disappointed and fumed about the quality of food in the cafeteria. I thought hospital suppose to serve us healthy meals ? Instead they serve spicy and salty food. It is contradict isn't it ? The price is extortionate! I took small portion on Fried Meehoon and large portion of vegetables and ended up paying RM 6.50. It might not seem expensive for certain people but my family isn't rich and when I compare to outside food like mix rice restaurant it is even cheaper than this. The selection of menu is very limited to spicy and salty food. How the hospital can brush up our health when the hospital itself serves so unhealthy food ?

Such a lazy nurses. Rude and never do dressing for my mother properly. Talk to patient with NO MANNERS.. takde adab cara layan pesakit. Dari pagi until 3pm, patient kena keep telling belum buat dressing. Patient dah pass motion 2 hari, no one check. Dah lah tak bagi family stay and take care. Seriously useless service. Very very bad.

The government needs to pump in more money for the...

The government needs to pump in more money for the government hospitals. Everything is old, beds, tables, chairs, floors, paint (which colour is so depressing). They need to renovate it, put new tiles, new brighter paint jobs, comfortably chairs, new beds, put some plants in the lobby, make a garden for the patients to have a nice stroll in, nice paintings (rather than a cheap printed picture on an A4 paper). Most of the doctors seem to be young while the experienced ones moved on to the private sector too.

Last but not least, MULTI LEVEL PARKING with a connecting bridge would make soo much sense.

A teaching hospital. It's consider semi private. It's not a service hospital, a lot of people mistaken it for a public hospital or private. It is actually a teaching hospital. The main purpose for this hospital is to train new doctors and post graduate doctor, and for research.

Facility wise, you can pretty much find all the basic necessities here, 2 mini market, 3 canteens, Gloria Jeans, hot rolls, post office, atms, cash deposit, mosque....etc.

Dont visit here if you are not sick, or wanted to train in medicine, this is a hospital!!!

Totally agree with those who gave 1 star and bad review for this hospital. This is the worst hospital that I went in my whole life... Wasted one whole day just to wait for checking even though the number of patient here is far lesser than those in other hospitals. Very slow service. The staffs are too carefree...

I was the last patient that time, but I need to wait for another 1 hour right after the second last patient was called... Moreover, almost all the doctors went back before my turn... Then I went to the main counter and asked the staff in charge of this department, the staff acted steady and replied me I still have to wait, telling me that I need to be patient and it's going to be my turn later... But what I noticed is almost all of them are preparing to go back home... After that, I noticed the staff holding my registration form and walked into the doctor room...

Imagine if I didn't question them about this, I believe I will waste whole day and just go back without meeting with any doctor.

My mother was loosing alot of weight and not feeling well. Went to HUKM, the doctor wanted to send her to the psychiatrist. Not satisfied with that treatment, we went to a private hospital, SJMC where a growth was detected on her thyroid and was asked to removed it. When removed and rested, the test states that the growth was cancereous. Can you believe what would have happened if my mom went for mental therapy instead. You guys almost killed my mother. So yeah, the menteri kesihatan really needs to re-evaluate this hospital. Nonsense.

Terrible service, arrive at 9.45am for an appointment at 10am however, waited 30mins for registration and then waited more than 3hrs but still not my turn to see the doctor yet!!! What the hell is this place? Why you need me to purposely drop by to make appointment before to see doctor but again, you never follow appointment time?! Pay first before consultation but nvr provide services, dare u ask for payment first?! This place claimed as semi private hospital but the service is worse than government hospital that I visited before!! I will nvr come here again!

I came at about 9 pm it was like thank God everything went well but I want to apologize very much to the nurse and doctor who helped me during delivery I did not make a mistake in delivery room no 9 And I thank you very much .... Because it helped me to be safe, the doctor and nurse were so patient that I was able to give birth normally 26 September 2020 2am alhamdulilah my son had a safe delivery with me ...... Frustrated. The service is too slow. To get no turn it takes more than 1 hour. The nurse who calls the name of the patient to be given no turn is very slow. There is no single nurse's assistance only for the section. Please OG party weigh this issue. Because of the many patients, there is a mother who thinks x is healthy, there is a time-consuming, some who are waiting for czer / normal. If this part is speeded up, this problem can be solved like No problem drag time until at 3-4pm just after a doctor.
Please .. please .. please help me. HKL's old school and not computarize even faster.

Laziest security personal I've ever seen. Poor enforcement of traffic system, no where to be seen , most of them sitting in security room gossiping. I can hardly see any in public areas in case anyone need assistance. Illegal parking all over.
It's a waste of taxpayer money to employ them. The Nepalese condo gaurd can do better job with lower salaries compare to locals. Sad , probably it also boils down to the hospital head as poor leadership leads to poor services.

The hospital has a special ward for cancer treatment sponsored by MAKNA and Maybank.

There is Ronald McDonald Charity house for families that travel far from home to Kuala Lumpur to obtain hospital treatment for their children. They can stay in the house for certain number of days but need approval from the hospital.

6 hours to get admitted due to no bed vacant.discharge took another 5 hours waiting for the summary.the management pls rectified this issue cause it only took less than 10 min for your payment department to take the cash.pls replace the payment department to handle above issues.its a semi gov hospital yet act like a fully gov own.such a disaster indeed

For my experience, please dont choose this hospital. It is semi-private, the cost is almost similar to private hospital, but the consultation & service was like hell! A very bad experience with this hospital. Even till the patient had dead, they still can't confirm the disease type. What a shame to so called "doctor"

Need to admit my father in law for a CT scan. Was given a written letter by the doctor to admit. At first, after reading some earlier reviews, was very worried and scared to admit him here but to my surprise, the place was not as bad as written by some. The admission wait was very lengthy due to the super high occupancy. We reach 10.30am and only managed to get a bed by 5.30pm...i strongly suggest that you do not wait at the hospital. They will call u on your hp once any bed is available. After the admission process, we are able to get a bed at 5H. The nurses are amazing, very polite and informative. Thank u all. Do not let a few bad apples sploit your repo. Keep up the good work and thanks again. The facilities looks dated but enough for the rate we are paying. Final advise would be, stay healthy and live heahlty to minimise your health visit to any hospital.

Mum has been here the past 1 yr, from Emergency to Admission , Screening, etc. related to Respiratory, Cardiology, Vascular, ENT, High-Dependency Ward.

Observation | Doctors are considerate and polite; Respi and Cardio treatments are good but Vascular and ENT are not. Nurses are gentle and kind; only 1-2 are cranky but that's fine. Overall, everyone here is compassionate. Thank you HUKM, God bless.

Needs Improvement :

~ Patient management and communication between Departments. We were once asked to admit patient but once arrived, was told it's a public holiday and no admission that day!

~ Communication between doctors from specialist Dept, Ward doctors, colleagues are weak.

~ Hospital needs more chairs outside wards for people to sit/wait. Should forbid visitors from bringing food to eat, then sleep/lie on the floor outside wards.

~ Many facilities are old and needs upgrading. I also pity the staff who have to work under such poor conditions.

~ Very dull daily patient meals. Method of cooking is the same, served on alternate days.

~ For teabreak, they serve crackers which is already wrapped but they STILL wrap them in another plastic bag (see attached pic). Why the need to consume so much of plastic? When I suggested to the manager, she just replied 'that's perfectly fine'.

~ Remove staff who can't do their job . I've witnessed again and again sweepers who literally carry their broom+pans and wa;l around, dusting lightly but rubbish are seen littered under beds etc (in the Emergency Dept).

~ Cleaners to cleanup the surroundings outside the hospital perimeter, carpark area as there's rubbish everywhere. Put up signboards to warn litterers. It's so shameful to see a teaching Hospital surrounded in trash !
