Great place for family or riders or just about anyone. Food is typical of a bar and grill, there is a huge sand pit for playing corn hole or kids to build stuff in. Two levels for hanging out and a place you can pull a kayak out of the river at.

Went for the beef ribs , waitress guaranteed us one ,then five minutes later returned wanting us to order something else .I ordered the brisket sandwich,Wich came out dry as sand. We brought up , that we were there for the beef ribs ,and the hall that called her self manager told us to text Rick ,who the heck is Rick and are we expected to know who Rick is ...idk

I ve been sniffing around this establishment for years through several ownership changes and it s still just as great of a place to get laid as it was when it was the infamous riptides. Sneaking in under 21 used to be a breeze and I feel like the same loopholes are probably still in place. This joint draws in the absolute best types of women, not so much the prudes and the A-hole friends who talk their girl out of going home with you..... also plenty of backroads to take home when you re driving hammered. Ahhhh...... memories.

Nice place on the Kentucky river just under the I 75 bridge. We sat downstairs on the patio. Tons of tables. Good southern food. I had the pick 2 combo...catfish and ribs with collard greens and baked beans as sides. Everything tasted good .but sides are very small portions. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. A band was playing..not sure if they there is music every week. We were visiting our daughter who lives in kentucky. Picnic tables..high top tables. Also has upstairs are to dine. Good place for hanging out and having ice tea or a drink or two...

We love this place. Great food and relaxing atmosphere on the river.

Great hidden find. There may be no other reason to get off the expressway at this exit, but the atmosphere and food make this a great stop.

This place is my idea of summer. The patio is amazing. Any time we have a free day we find ourselves driving down enjoying the scenery then coming upon this gem tucked away. Music is always great and food is why we continue to come back. Keep up the fantastic work

This place is just great. It's location is so relaxing and beautiful. The food is good and the live bands are excellent. We visit this place every time we are staying in the Lexington area each year.

Food and drinks are overpriced. But a great scenery.

Been seated 2 plus hours since ordered food nothing yet, have to go to the bar to help yourself with drinks, great atmosphere but service is the worst anywhere don't waste your time if you are hingry

Proud Mary is a great restaurant with above average food, and great service. I took the family there for a day trip because it is an interesting atmosphere outside near the river. It was a great experience. Our waitress was amazing, and the food was very good. We got fish, pork barbecue, chicken barbecue, and shrimp and it was all excellent. They have a large restaurant, and a bar area down by the river. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a unique experience.

Excellent service. Really good sausage, brisket, and pulled pork. Pretty good chicken. I wouldn't recommend poor boy. Good greens and cucumber salad as sides. Worth the trip for free koozie.

This used to be my go to place, now it seems over crowded and the staff can't keep up with customers.

Good BBQ, Cajun and seafood. This would have 5 stars with more attention to the little things. The truely best ribs I've had in this area. OK...THE NEGATIVE! Those tiny plastic cups for the sides absolutely the worst idea ever. And be prepared for your drinks to be served in a small, plastic cup as well. Whoever dreamed up these tiny side order cups needs to rethink this appoach sooner rather than later. For the price you pay here you should be offered more than just a sampling of beans and slaw. C'mon people! We know you can do better than this.

I will say the mother's day Buffett is over the top! Took my girlfriend last year and it's on our must go to dinners every year now.

Good food, server didn't know much. No one washing their hands, bathrooms were a mess.

Excellent food, great place to hang out in the summer on the deck overlooking the river. Great live music as well.
