I had major issues with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and my COBRA account. I was getting no where with BC/BS. I made several calls to both BC/BS, but it wasn't until I spoke with Melanie G, at PBA, that my issue was handled immediately. Melanie understood the position I was in, she was empathetic, patient and took action. There is no way I can thank Melanie for her excellent service. Giver her a raise!

Adam was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable in explaining to me that benefits of the Healthcare Flex Spending account. I am now enrolled as a 1st time member. I received a confusing medical bill today, and Angela was kind enough to get on a call with me and the provider to help resolve it. She advocated for me, was so professional, and was just all around a bright light in an otherwise chaotic morning. She had my back when the provider was threatening, and eased so many concerns for me. Navigating medical bills and insurance can be stressful, and having someone like Angela and PBA on your side is such a blessing. Thank you, Angela!

The is morning Sherry Reynolds assisted me in determining if a test ordered by my physician needed prior authorization, as my physician's front desk staff simply refused to do so. Sherry attempted a conference call with the physician's office, but no one answered, so she left a message with detailed information for them to follow. I am truly appreciative of Sherry's assistance, and her willingness to go above and beyond her immediate duties. She represents the best that is PBA.

I have had no direct interaction with PBA, but I am very disappointed to see how you handle your online customer service and lack of responsibility to uphold the privacy of your customers. I now know way too much about Brandon Ballard because of your response. I am convinced he likely did have a poor experience due to how you have mishandled him via the internet publicly. There is a way to respond without going into too much detail or just invite them to contact you for clarification on the matter.

Healthcare today can be difficult to navigate. Thank goodness I found a PBA representative that has been incredibly helpful, courteous & professional. From general questions that I could not find answers to online, to specific issues with our son's medicine while in college, Sheila Carlson has assisted (often beyond expectations) & resolved every issue. Not very often are we wowed by customer service these days but Sheila at PBA does that each time I need her help. Five stars for sure!

was lucky to get some very nice lady named angela on the phone to help me out. she not only was nice and helped me with my questions, she went above and beyond and we had a three way conversation with the pharmacy people to help solve my issue. (which was someone took my kids off my plan for some reason, thats why they werent covered...) Too often people only share the negative and not the positive. I want to let you know that I called Tammy yesterday when an employee was in my office that had questions regarding his wife s claims. She was wonderful and later that afternoon I had an update (which I did not request) from her with the status of the claims. I just want to share the great customer service experience.

Katie was amazing!!!!

Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you that one of associates... Katie.... was profoundly helpful to me over the last week. I called PBA to make sure that a fax I sent over was received and I got Katie as my rep. I hd a few questions and concerns and Katie promised to check them out and call me back and did! At least three times Katie called me back as promised, and I was thrilled to have someone follow through with their word.

Please let her know her thoroughness mattered to me, as I am sure it does to others that she helps. Thank you for hiring Katie..... she needs a raise!!

It was an absolute nightmare working with Aurora on two urgent care claims that I had to have reprocessed, and I truly feel like the rep (Katie) at PBA was a godsend at the point that she began helping with my case. It is extremely rare to find the type of exceptional customer service that she provided to me through this situation. After being repeatedly bounced back and forth by the Aurora billing office, she really went above and beyond to help take the burden off me while working toward a resolution. Her kindness and genuine empathy did not go unappreciated!

On Tuesday, 20 August 2019 I either lost or had st...

On Tuesday, 20 August 2019 I either lost or had stolen by PBA Flexible Spending Account VISA card. I called PBA to report it and my call was taken by customer service representative Melanie. I told Melanie how my card came to be missing, i.e. I left my cell phone/wallet on top of my car and drove off. My cell phone/wallet was returned but my AMEX & PBA VISA cards were missing.

Melanie was very empathetic and reassured me that I was not the first person to commit this faux pas. Melanie reviewed my account to verify the last debit I had made to my account and the account balance and then closed the account. Melanie made the request for a replacement card. Melanie told me that there was a $10.00 fee which I knew to be correct. Melanie even offered to try to get the fee waived since my card was due to expire 12/2019 but could offer no guarantee. I was charged for the replacement card but I very much appreciated Melanie's willingness to offer this type of assistance.

Melanie's kind demeanor and quick reassurance that my account was safe and also available for me to continue to use by submitting receipts via the website prior to the arrival of my new card made an embarrassing situation have a very pleasant resolution.

I very much appreciate all of Melanie's efforts on my behalf. PBA is fortunate to have someone of her caliber as a member of their organization. I hope that PBA is also appreciative, and lets Melanie know that they are so, of Melanie's efforts as a representative of their organization.

Tried to sign up for COBRA benefits. Enrolled and never got a notice to confirm my enrollment, or how to make payments for COBRA benefits. I did get a notice saying that the enrollment period had lapsed.
Why couldn't this have been done online? Upsetting. Hopefully will never have to deal with this organization again.

I have had the pleasure to work with Sherry on a claim that my provider is billing me for. Sherry told me to fax her my bill and i did so. That day I went to pay other bills at the provider to make sure my payments go where they should. I called on this claim earlier to the provider because they were saying it was cosmetic charge. I told her they took a mole off my leg to biopsy. She said the billing is correct on their side and I have to contact my insurance. Well that day sherry called me to update me that she had received my documents and now they have initiated an appeal for me and it s in review. Words cannot express how impressed with her follow through and her keeping me updated as to where they were with this issue. She was pleasant and very knowledgeable about my benefits. I have worked as a customer service supervisor for blue cross and unfortunately I didn t get a lot of calls telling me what a great experience they had. It was the representative fault it was on the customer side and they were upset with the answer they got. So, when I have a great experience with a customer service rep I want their management know what a great job they are doing. It seems that they are not given the positive feedback but they get the negative. So, anytime I have an exceptional experience I will let the company know. Sherry is a great asset to your company. Honestly I have never had a bad experience with you. Thank You Sherry.

I have been trying to get reimbursed for medical treatment for over 2 years of service at an oon facility. I have sent receipt after receipt in, been told people were going to return my calls, and been told they didn't receive things I've sent time after time. If I didn't keep pushing, I know they would have just let it go. We pay A lot of money every month. I think I'm FINALLY getting somewhere. I would just like a little help.

Shout out to Joe at PBA! One of the kindest and most helpful customer service reps I have ever talked to. Patiently answered all of my questions and took the time and care to go over my plan coverage, making sure it was explained in a way I understood and how to proceed. Even took the opportunity to say it was his job to make sure I had my questions answered and that no question was silly- which was a kind thing to say, considering I usually feel like an idiot when it comes to understanding policy information! I can't say enough about the amazing service they provide from all spectrums (i.e., administration of insurance, processing claims, data analysis, customer service, etc.). Everyone who works there genuinely care about providing great service. The only reason we no longer use them, is because we were acquired by a larger company.
