I was traveling alone while waiting on friends to arrive in Marrakech. I wanted to locate a female guide to help me explore the Medina, its history, the culture of the community and introduce me to navigating the old city and souqs...and I wanted the perspective of a woman. Female guides are virtually non-existent in Marrakech. It turns out Noura El Kacimi was a rare find in so many ways. Her depth of knowledge was exceptional. Noura has a passion for what she does. I affectionately came to call her The Lady Guide as she was referred to that way by the souq vendors, restaurant owners and artisans--who demonstrated a great deal of respect for her. I was very fortunate to have Noura with me at the get go - Marrakech and the old city are not easy to navigate and it is a place of sensory overload. Once friends arrived we hired Noura daily even though two of our companions had visited Marrakech several times. She focused on authenticity , we ate marvelous food in non -tourist destinations, visited Berber Villages on day excursions, and stopped along the way to come to know the landscape, architecture and the nuances we would have never known if not for her knowledge. Noura is a pleasure. She is tireless and accommodating. When our trips required a car, the vehicles and the drivers were top notch. I enthusiastically recommend Noura El Kacimi to any group of travelers. In particular if you are a lone traveler- find Noura El Kacimi. You will have an immediate friend, and someone who will insure your safety and guide you with honesty and enthusiasm.. and her fees are very modest. What s not to like! Thank you Noura - Janis

I used Noura el Kacimi as my tour guide when I visited Morocco in December 2015, for 5 days. I stayed in Marrakech and each day Noura took me to visit all the famous places there. She is a University educated lady, with a lot of historical knowledge. We spoke in English, but she speaks French and Arabic too. .I learnt a lot during my stay. Particularly enjoying the delicious food and the sights and sounds of the Medina/Souks. We used private transport and I always felt 100% safe.
I would recommend this guide to anyone wishing to visit Morocco.

My wife and I traveled with some friends on a three week trip to Morocco with Noura and her group. She was our personal guide for the whole trip and had prepared all the arrangements for us. What a privilege it was for my family and me to experience Marrakech with Noura as our guide. She developed and coordinated a thoughtful itinerary for our 6 day visit, and then adapted throughout the week as we rearranged our plans. Throughout our time together, she provided informative background on the history of the sites we visited. It was a perfect combination of planned activities and "go with the flow" spontaneity -- the essence of what a discovery vacation is about.
Noura was such an amazing guide. Very kind- smart and knowledgable. She took us to different parts of the city- shared about history and culture and customs. She had so much interesting information to share. She knew her way around the marketplace! One of my favorite memories is of her guiding up through back streets and alleyways to a hotel we wanted to go to for an evening snack.
We had very limited time, but wanted to see as much as possible. Working with Noura, she was able to come up with a trip plan for our visit that worked everything in. She was a fountain of knowledge about everything -- the important sights, the history, the people and customs. Morocco is an incredibly beautiful country, with so much history -- I don't think we could have seen and learned as much as we did if it hadn't been for Noura. She also arranged for a terrific driver, and the two of them took such good care of us -- we truly never worried about a thing. Noura made our trip not just memorable, but enlightening as well as fun. Can't say enough good things about her!

We met with Noura in 2013 in Casablanca. We were on an ocean cruise and wanted to find a guide who could take a small group of us somewhere interesting on an independent tour and get us back to our cruise ship on time. This was, I believe, more in the beginning of her career. I had a choice of a male guide or Noura. Her tour as advertised wasn t quite what we had in mind. She planned another one for us, got it relisted on the website and I hired her. Even more so at that time, female guides were a rarity. Our group was very pleased with our tour to Rabat and her friendly spirit and depth of knowledge. And she corralled our group and got us back on time. I loved learning a bit about her life and her sweet gentle nature. Marrakech was where I d hoped to go that day but it was too far away. Makes me wish we could return.

We loved her!
Noura was great. Her local and country knowledge was exceptional and it was good to get the perspective of a woman. The A/C car was always ready for us and her English was great.
