The doctors and nurses are amazing!!!! Because of my condition I need hospitalization on a frequent basis. Not any of the staff, doctors or nurses made me feel like I didn't matter. They listened to my consers and went out of there way to accommodate my condition. I found myself a hospital.

Subjected to severe patient neglect, abuse, injury and misdiagnosis more than once. When I complained the CEO sent a letter that the care I received was the standard of care. Now that I know injuring and abusing patients is the standard of care, I certainly won't be back. Health One has a long record of doing a very bad job.

Would never recommend anyone set foot in this hospital. Extreme lack of communication between nurses and doctors in ICU almost cost my father his life. Tried multiple times to transfer him ANYWHERE else and we re constantly met with every other hospital is full ...... spent a month in ICU next to his bedside constantly because we felt it was unsafe to leave him alone. After what we felt was a severely prolonged stay due to general lack of care and organization we have since sought out the opinion of other doctors, we learned there were MANY mistakes made by this hospital that could have avoided so much suffering. If you have a loved one being transferred to a different hospital, PLEASE do your research and speak up. We have since switched to UC Health for all of his medical needs and are SO happy to be receiving actual professional care.

Had neck surgery. Dr Kuklo and his staff were wonderful. P/S.L. and it's staff of nurses were wonderful checked on my condition regularly to make sure pain management was under control. The cleaning staff also came and interdused them selves and kept the room very clean. Physical therapy staff were great. All staff at hospital made sure All needs were met and the stay was very pleasant for both me and my wife we are from out of town so they made acomadations for my wife to stay in my room with me for the week I was in there. I previously had neck surgery at different hospital and Dr with problems from both Dr and hospital which made my problems much worse and also caught h pylori and pneumonia from conditions at previous hospital. I would highly recommend Dr Kuklo and P/S.L. Evan having to drive 100 + miles

I went to the ER here last week, probably the best emergency room visit I've ever experienced. I spent only a few minutes in the waiting room and was immediately seen by the nurses and doctor. The one thing that really did it for me was that the doctor was very present in my care, he didn't just show up once to see me for a minute- he came by multiple times to catch up and thoroughly explain everything that was going on. The nurses and other staff members were all incredible and very efficient. I'm very impressed with this hospital and this would be my first choice for emergency care.

I transferred service from University of Colorado for my high risk pregnancy and it was the best decision I ever made. They didn't give a crap about me at the other hospital. They really care here. After I had my son the care i received was phenomenal. I live in Washington state now and would fly to Denver to receive care here that's how amazing the Drs and the hospital were. I had my first in California and they were way better here.

Been with CBCI for a while. They do a great job of patient care and are always friendly. I think I am getting the best possible care . The doctors are straight forward and work together with the hole staff (RN, PA, NP.....). It take a commitment from all to be as good as these Professionals are.
Not sorry for the 4 stars, I just don't give a perfect score to any review.

I just got released from Presbyterian-Saint Lukes after being in there since November 20, 2012 and I have to say that the treatment I received was the best I have ever gotten. I was telling my parents I was spoiled while I there.. I wanted throw out my KUDOS to all the staff that took such great care of me.

I believe that P/SL provided outstanding care after my surgery with the level of nursing support matching or exceeding that of major research hospitals I have been to. The nurses are outstanding and professional while being at the same time personable and attentive. Both the ICU and Recovery nursing staff personal made my recovery the best it could have been.

If I had to have cancer. There is absolutely no other place that comes close to the care of this hospital. Let alone all the doctors and especially the nurses are compassionate and caring. I feel a bond with them all.

I was very pleased with my ER experience and was seen immediately despite it being an unusually busy evening. Once admitted to the hospital for overnight observation there was a mistake in communication between night and day shift regarding my next blood draw to determine if I would need surgery based on hematocrit levels. The lab ended up running bloodwork that they ALREADY had instead of drawing blood and this could have been a grave error as it looked as though my hematocrit was holding steady instead of dropping. If I did not speak up this error would not have been caught. Always be your own advocate!

I recently had a specialist consult, and subsequent surgery here and it was a great experience (as good as it could be haha). My Dr was beyond excellent. Kind, funny, and great bedside manner. Everyone at the surgery center was kind and professional, plus the waiting area is very nice, clean and updated. Very comfortable area for family members to wait. My surgery went well and I feel that I got excellent and compassionate care. No complaints!

My mom has a failing liver, has been at Presbyterian for weeks and they brag about how their liver transplant team is the best in the Denver area and they said to my mom that having the surgery would be too risky and they had a liver available, they did not bother to even try! If you have a family member that has a failing liver or kidney don't bother coming to this hospital because the chances are they will turn you away as much as they did to my mom.

I love how fast this place are working as team leading. I went to an ER today and they came to see as the moment I came in my room. Check on me and get everything done within tow hours. Normally ER I expected to be like all day or something but this hospital treated the patients well. Love it

I can not say enough good about this experience. I was petrified that I had to have a total hip replacement. I had not heard of the Anterior approach before but suddenly had several friends report they knew of great results.
Dr Tuttle was highly recommended, and since I was declining rapidly I took the frightening plunge. From my first contact with scheduling (seriously) and every step up to follow up calls at home day after surgery everyone was connected, compassionate, and extremely clear on every step I needed to take or what they were going to do.
I am an RN and I always said surgeons had terrible bed side manner; I stand corrected and apologize for that stereotyping. Dr Tuttle even held me steady with positive words of encouragement for the spinal block and was the last pleasant face I saw as I succumbed to the IV anestesia. Thank you Dr Tuttle and your incredible team.

Emergency Department is horrible, went in today with severe cramping in my lower abdomen and left side, occasional sharp pains, and difficulty walking. Informed the nurses as well as Dr Wolfe of all my symptoms and how my entire body aches, they took blood and a pee test, gave me some pain meds and sent me home with Pepcid. Pain still hasn't subsided and I doubt Heartburn would last for over 7days, I had spoken with Dr Wolfe once and the male nurse who discharged me was very rude and unprofessional. I then called another hospital and let them know my symptoms, I was then told to come in immediately and diagnosed with Diverticulitis and given antibiotics, will not be returning to PSL.

my first ER experience was good, but what ruined me was when I went in for a injection in my spine to help my back pain. The doctor was rude, he didn't put the lidocaine in properly and I was screaming in pain and bawling during the entire injection. To add insult to injury, the injection only made my pain excruciatingly worse

I was having Major Back surgery and from the time I and my wife walked in the hospital staff took great care of me. This Hospital was recently remodeled and looked super good. After my Surgery, my night time nurse (Kevin) took care of me and seemed to really care about me . The whole staff was great. I would say if you need to get fixed, go here.

I was scheduled for a 1:30 biopsy, and received a call asking if I could move it to 2:00 since they double booked that time. I said no, I have to do 1:30. They moved my appointment to 2:00 anyway without telling me, and the hospital scheduling representative Mike admitted to this. Therefore you really are a cog in the machine here and they do not care what your schedule is. There are other biopsy clinics in the Denver metro area, go there.

I, to be honest am seeking Counsel due to the extreme nature of my situation. I not only have had my HIPPA PRIVACY RIGHTS violated, every aspect of my post op batched, but literally had to have a nurse removed from my room because of such negligent care. I have already spoken to the Compliant Officer and any awaiting there response to all that happened. I urge you, please get a copy of your records in there entirety, go through them with a fine tooth comb as you will probably be as shocked as I have I been to learn exactly what is really in your records, vs. what you thought was. And make sure that you gone over your rights and if there is information that is incorrect do not let it go. The only way to keep this from happening to others is to speak up.
One person that this happens to, is one two many. Zero tolerance for this should be the position of this Hospital and all other Hospitals in the Country.
I will be updating the progress of this situation to ensure that the Public is aware.
Please share this with all you know in the hopes of stopping it.
If you have any questions, please feel free to comment and I will respond. QUICKLY.
THANK YOU FOR READING.

Good day, my profession is Security Supervisor fo...

Good day, my profession is Security Supervisor for commercial high rise properties in the Denver Area. I deal with all types of social classes in Denver and I do my best to treat individuals equally. I'm helpful, caring, allow the issues to be present and will provide direction for assistance if I'm not able to help. From one call to this hospital I received a cold direct responses to my requests to speak to a nurse. Then a nurse name kerry (refused to give her last name) gave her full title ask how she can help me in a tune of voice that was direct and feeling less. I was just as direct with the reason I was calling to let her know how she started the conversation. Kerry then ask my name birth day, zip code and phone number in the same tone of voice which was truly cold. I answer Kerry's question regarding leaning more about the issue and then Kerry gave her opinion regarding a treatment. The treatment suggested is not a option but I called and ask a contractor if the treatment is a option and was told no they don't provid that service.
I gave the one star rating because the recorded information was helpful and caring in a Lawyer tune of voice and the hospital actually answered the phone.

Very wonderful staff, nice facility also! I gave the Hospital 4 stars for a few reasons. $31,911 for the vascular malformation surgery and biopsy. If I didn't have Medicaid, that would be so so hard for me to ever pay that amount. Anyway's, they had my left leg scheduled for the lump removal when it actually was my right leg. They also had some other patient's EKG in my file, same name, wrong person!!! The facts are Hospitals and Dr's kill off over 250,000 people per year due to errors and misdiagnosing people. Pay very close attention to every detail, it's your life on the line. Overall I am very satisfied, I even got a ride back to the motel from security..

Being at this hospital was one of the worst experi...

Being at this hospital was one of the worst experiences of my life. One of the first things that occurred was that the staff conned me into accepting an egg crate mattress pad that sells for $10 at Wal-Mart but for which they charged me $80. I was too stupid to know that their goal was to make money for the hospital. Their pitch was, "so I'd feel more comfortable." It gets far worse than this.
The next problem was that I was administered medication to start contractions along with sleeping medication. This caused me to uncontrollably scream in pain while asleep. After the nurse who caused the problem came in twice to complain, I decided that I would have to sacrifice sleep so the other patients could sleep. This was the night before labor when a person needs to sleep. In order to force myself to stay awake, I walked around all night long. Then the doctor, who was surprised that I was able to stay awake, accused me of either being on drugs or having had an abusive childhood because these were the only two categories of people who could stay awake with this sleep medication. (It doesn't sound credible, I know, but I'm not making this up.) The next morning, I was started on Pitocin, which was administered by a cheery, flaky young woman. She kept looking at the graph of contractions and stating that they were not normal and I wasn't in labor yet and then each time she would up the dosage of Pitocin until it was at the max. Meanwhile, despite an epidural, I was in pain that was a ten on a scale of one to ten, ten being the worst. It felt like the baby's head was pounding into my pelvic bones. The hospital employees were not responsive at all to this complaint. In fact, they never once answered their call button. They were around when they wanted to be and not available when I needed them. Finally, the flaky tech person took a look at the monitor and said that they'd try to induce me tomorrow as my contractions were irregular and nothing was happening today. As an afterthought, she decided to take a look inside me and the opposite was true. I had been in labor; I was and had been fully dilated for some unknown period of time. So another major error on the part of the hospital. The foam mattress was cut away supposedly in order to give the hospital personnel better access to the birth area. I gave birth and the baby was put in the nursery. About twelve hours into his life, he became very ill with an infection and was transferred to the NICU, where he remained for the week. Of five patients that I know of, including me, this was the third infection that occurred during the hospital stay. There was no effort on the part of the hospital, as far as I know, to determine the cause of the infection. The hospital never offered to assume liability for the cost of treating the infection. To add insult to injury, the hospital replaced the cut up foam mattress and charged me another $80. Excessive pitocin may cause brain injury and my son was diagnosed with developmental vision problems and sensory-motor issues at the age of four. He also had and has regulatory disorder. On his IQ test, the tester determined that his IQ loss was 20 points on the part of the test that required fine motor and vision skills.

I just had surgery at PSL and Dr Liu did an excellent job. Being from out of town about 5 hours away, my husband and I were always informed. Lupe, my night nurse my first nite, was so loving and informative and helped me so much. Kuddoes to Mary also my nite nurse two of the nites I was there. She was patient and very kind. All the nurses and staff were excellent in every way. Helping patients like me feel important and at home and at ease is the best at PSL. Thanks! Oh, yes, I was on the 6th floor.

My surgeon, Dr. Kuklo, was outstanding. Every person involved from anthesia, neuro-monitoring to the nurses were great. The only thing that could have been improved is a large pot of flowers did not end up with me in the car at discharge. I also had a two day migraine starting the day after my surgery. The internist told the physical and occupational therapist to leave me in my dark dark until the migraine was under control. They were not to work on physical/occupational therapy until the pain was gone.

Our experience in the emergency room was quick and efficient. The nurses and doctor were thorough and professional. BUT that was the only good thing. We came in with our 1.5 year old to check a head injury. Just walking in the door, them checking vitals (no meds, no x-rays) and sitting for an hour of observation, was $4,255.00. We disputed the charges. I made our monthly payments, but because I wouldn't get on their astronomical payment plan (i.e out of pocket cost of half, up front) they sent me to a third party collections. Which is fine, every person I spoke to in the presbyterian business office was rude and condescending. I'm happy to work with actual business professionals and not these people anymore. Beware, peace of mind for your family comes at a price and you'll be treated with disrespect by the business office.

We have had several experiences with the PSLMC Emergency Department now, and they have been polite, professional, and punctual in treating myself, and my fiance. PSLMC is now the ONLY E.R. that we will go to, because of their polite and professional staff. Overall St. Luke's will be a much more patient friendly experience than any of the Centura Health facilities, and you will be seen in a much more reasonable timeframe.

Every single doctor, resident, nurse, radiology technician, transport person, and even the guy that comes to get your info and insurance information, were exceptionally awesome. I technically work for CU Medicine at the Anschutz Campus, but I needed emergency care, and then to be admitted to the hospital for the weekend, unexpectedly. I went to PSL bc they are five minute from where I live. What an amazing group of people there. I can t recommend them enough. Thank you everyone, for everything. I truly felt so cared for during a very scary time. You guys are all so amazing!

If I could give this hospital in Colorado any less I would.
Staff is extremely lacking in bedside manner.
There is no supervision going on.
The hospital delivery wing looks like a scene from Saw.
Th only thing they got going is the refreshments if that counts.
Would have loveeed to catch the name of the nurse who not only was rude to me but also a liar. Since she didnt like what I had to say about how unprofessional they were being. I may have not been delivering but I got the same rights as the mother since I was the one who wanted a kid in the first place. Extremely rude and mever recommending.
STAY AWAY FROM ST LUKES SPECIALLY THE ONE IN COLORADO. ST JOSEPH IS BETTER!!!

It is never fun being sick. And no one ever wants to end up in the hospital but I have had to go twice in the past 6 months and i was SO incredibly impressed by every single staff member. From the people who helped me check in to all the nurses and doctors I know I am in good hands and that these people truly care about their job and helping others. I could not be more thankful for the care and support I received. If you ever have an emergency and have an option to choose where to go in Denver, I HIGHLY recommend PSL's medical center because these people really care about each individual and they want everyone to get well and be comfortable. Our son was in an altercation where he was assaulted and was transported by ambulance. I work in a children s hospital and was on a trauma call when I saw that he was at a hospital. My heart sank. Fortunately my son was able to give authorization and I spoke to the charge nurse who eased my worrying mind. What a phenomenal hospital!!! I am so grateful to the ER for taking such excellent care of our son. They ran tests that I don t believe would have and made sure my son was well enough to leave. They set him up with all the cautionary concerns and questions. Thank you for your high integrity and care for your patients.
